Oct 12, 2021 · Kelsey CorneliusParent rent a slot at Loaf N Liesure and the amenities are great in the cabin and the grounds. The children have plenty to do in the water, a playground and with their families. It is a small and cozy community where we know everyone.
May 31, 2023 · Susan KnittelKids had a blast - and other guests were kind and respectful. Plenty of room to kick back and relax; or gather by the campfire. Three docks to fish off for the kids and fun water toys to use (paddleboards and lily pads). Would recommend a visit here! Matt, Tara and family were great hosts!
Aug 09, 2021 · Susan & Dan LindstromFirst time visit was Aug 2021. Found them via Airbnb but they’ll have their own booking web site soon. Matt and Tara were nice hosts, and the site was well kept, clean, and stocked with everything we needed except the food we brought, the clothes we packed, and our towels. Our three bedroom cabin was clean and has a great cottage/cabin feel. But there’s WiFi and a smart TV if you’re don’t want to be completely unplugged. Quiet AC cooled the whole cabin. Strong running water that got hot easily. Comfy beds and well-stocked kitchen. The grounds from the road to the lake were well manicured. Plenty of lounge chairs and trees for hammocks. There’s a fire pit, a couple picnic tables, and a charcoal grill.Bonus was a game room garage with darts, air hockey, foosball, and ping pong.We saw loons and woodpeckers and caught fish right off any of the three docks. You can dock your own boat, via public access just down the way. And they had two paddle boards. The common areas were shared by another three-bedroom cabin and residents of the adjacent RV campground. The lake accommodates motor boats, pontoons, kayaks and canoes without feeling cramped. For our last night, we took an easy, short drive to Brainerd for eat-treats and PaulBunyan Land. All in all, we lacked nothing in our restful yet active, four-day family trip. Well worth the reasonable price for lodging for our two families (5 adults and 2 kids).
Aug 04, 2021 · v. paul vThis is a great place. Permanent camp sites, and two cabins. So, the rateing of rooms is obsolete as you would really rate your own camper. The owners are amazing, friendly and helpful.
