I lived there for 6 years and it was a very nice community amongst those who live there long term and short term. Now there's new management, and I'm not going to exaggerate or sugarcoat it. The new owner / management harass the tenants, make illegal threats, with things such as moving their trailers, which would be illegal without an eviction, make threats about throwing or disposing of things that you have outside like and things that belong outside like barbecue pits, potted plants and generators. The new owner and his new manager the owner now hired rides around the RV park at all hours bird dogging each lot, picking on the tenants as though it's some form of a childish game amongst the new management. What once was a decent place with very decent folks as neighbors, is now owned and run by a money hungry individual that is charging outrageous prices for a very out-of-date RV park with no amenities (no play ground, pool, dog poo ark, walking trails or things you would expect to see in a RV park or trailer park), what you get is a very run-down laundry room with three or four washers some not working most of the time and three or four dryers that never work and they just take your money, with 1, sometimes working shower; when everybody has to go to work they've doubled up in their RV and that 1 shower has a line of 2-5 individuals who work early lined up by 6 am when the facility finally opens to be e used by tensents. Penal code for RV parks in the state of Texas mandates that a RV parks must have for every 50 units occupied a number of 2 (one for each gender ( but does not have to be gender asigned) restrooms which must include a shower that has proper ceiling ventilation and dressing space, a certain amount of distance on each side of the RV parking pad between RVs, paved parking pad for your RV, proper road that does not have any potholes to which can hold water at any time, a certain amount of washers and dryers that are made 24-hour access for a certain number of occupied sides, and proper 24-hour access to your mail if you are permanent resident. Luckys is the only place I have ever seen or heard that you couldn't get your mail when you wanted to. It gets worse though, it went as bad as the manager calling me and letting me know, my husband got his bank card as if that was anybody else's business to begin with. Lucky's does not offer the state adequate accommodations especially for their "new" prices which went from $450 all bills included monthly to over $700 in just a few months, it's beyond outrageous for what they're expecting you to live with. When it was really cheap rent, the neighbors were all close and we all help each other out like, we were a good community now they've run off a lot of really good individuals and it's really just turned into crap. I don't recommend it. Go to Bel Air by bucess it would be what you would expect from a well managed RV park, that is up to code. Until Lucky's RV park and their management can really step it up and get their shit together and bring that RV park up to code it is not worth it even for those who are desperate.

I lived at Lucky's for a while until last week when I had to move for work. I got to meet the "new" owner and management. I saw the owners and the new management team (Mr. Sam and Ms. Ellie) walking around, picking up trash and doing more to clean up that park than the previous team had done in YEARS! They also have already made repairs that had gone ignored for many months by Bob and Benita, and walked around just to personally meet everyone.I will say that I was hesitant to meet the new team because Bob and Benita bad mouthed them constantly once they knew they weren't going to work there much longer. Benita specially said they were rude, money hungry monsters that didn't care about anyone but themselves.Well, that couldn't be further from the truth. Bob and Benita were racist, rude, and terribly unprofessional.I wished I didn't have to move because now the park is calm, clean, tension-free, and drama-free.Any bad reviews about Lucky's are just disgruntled employees and their friends that were former guests at the park, until they were evicted for many reasons. I guess when Bob and Benita left, they took their trash with them!

My wife and I lived here for 2.5 years and recently moved since we are now expecting! However, the new management would have been cause enough to leave. Previous reviews stating that the new owner raised rent without providing any additional amenities are accurate. Yet, it was management’s treatment of my heavily pregnant wife that prompted this review.Our rent is paid through 4/17. We moved our RV on 4/12. This incident happened on 4/16. My wife changed our mailing address and went by the park one last time to see if any mail had come between 4/13 and 4/16 (again, we had paid rent through those days).When she first asked for the mail, management told her to move her car and block someone in (all spots were full) because she was not allowed to park right by the office. When my wife returned, management complained that she did not inform them of our move and told her that because we had “abandoned” the lot they did not have the mail. It was a petty power play by management to inconvenience a pregnant woman when they could have disclosed initially that they would not provide our mail.Management has access to our contact information from our move-in form and could have reached out from 4/13 to 4/16 if they were concerned about having confirmation of us moving out. We have no obligation under the move-in agreement to inform management when we are leaving. The fact that management thought it was okay to pretend that we are required to tell them that information is ridiculous.My wife asked management what would have happened if we were on vacation. Management had no answer for that and had to ask my wife at that point if we were, in fact, on vacation. Of course we are not, but the question alone proves management had no idea if we had moved or were simply traveling, yet still felt entitled to mishandle our mail for those 4 days.I strongly advise anyone considering this park to take their business elsewhere unless you like being required to inform management of all your travel plans, having to question if your mail was properly handled, and having your pregnant wife bullied.

This used to be the best place to go in Temple for the price it used to cost. Now it's like a high priced camp grounds. Roads aren't paved so you always have potholes and a car wash account. The high speed wifi ain't so high speed. Only one shower available during washroom hours. No mail room so all your mail goes to the office to be sorted by someone other than the postal worker. I lived there for 6 yrs and didn't plan on moving but when the price went up at a rapid pace I couldn't justify paying that for no amenities. Greed does a terrible thing to people. It's sad to see it.

They control your mail. All mail and packages go through the incompetent office people. They lost my medication once and now a weeks worth. The washers and dryers don't work. I would recommend avoiding this place if at all possible. The people in the office don't answer the phone or return calls.
