Maplewood Estates Introduce
When searching for "RV parks near me" in the Omaha, Nebraska area, Maplewood Estates, located at 12801 Spaulding Plaza, Omaha, NE 68164, USA, is a mobile home park that may appear in your results. While primarily a mobile home community, it is important to consider its features, environment, and policies when evaluating it as a potential option for RV stays, whether short-term or long-term. This overview aims to provide an objective perspective based on the limited information available from online customer reviews.
The environment of "RV parks near me" is a significant factor for many travelers and potential residents. One customer review describes Maplewood Estates as looking like a "quiet neighborhood." This suggests a potentially peaceful and low-traffic environment within the community, which can be appealing for those seeking a serene setting. However, the review does not provide extensive details about the landscaping, common areas, or overall ambiance of the park. For RV owners, understanding the layout of the park, the size and spacing of sites, and the ease of maneuverability within the community are crucial aspects of the environment to consider.
Regarding services and features typically expected from "RV parks near me," such as utility hookups (water, electricity, sewer), waste disposal, laundry facilities, restrooms, showers, or Wi-Fi, the provided information does not offer specifics for Maplewood Estates in the context of RV accommodation. As a primarily mobile home park, the infrastructure may be geared towards permanent or semi-permanent dwellings. It is essential for potential RV visitors or residents to directly contact Maplewood Estates at (402) 493-6000 or +1 402-493-6000 to inquire about the availability and nature of hookups suitable for RVs, as well as any amenities that might be accessible to temporary or short-term residents. Understanding these services is vital for a comfortable and convenient stay.
One of the customer reviews highlights a specific policy concerning visitor parking, stating a dislike for the fact that visitors cannot park outside, especially in situations involving family members in hospice care. This parking restriction could be a significant consideration for those who anticipate having frequent visitors. For RV travelers who may have accompanying vehicles or expect guests, understanding the parking regulations is crucial. It may also indicate a more structured or restrictive environment regarding vehicle parking within the community.
Another brief review mentions that there are "some pretty good mobile homes there." While this comment is directed towards the quality of the mobile homes, it could indirectly suggest that the park maintains a certain standard for its permanent residences, which might reflect positively on the overall upkeep of the community. However, it does not provide specific information about the suitability or quality of any potential RV sites or accommodations.
Promotional information for Maplewood Estates as an "RV park near me" is not available in the provided reviews. The focus of the comments is on the residential aspect of the mobile home park rather than specific amenities or services tailored for RVs. Therefore, individuals interested in using Maplewood Estates as an RV park should proactively seek information regarding their RV accommodations, including site availability, hookup details, pricing, and any specific policies applicable to RV stays.
When searching for "RV parks near me," it is important to consider the specific needs of RV travelers, such as the size and type of RV that can be accommodated, the amperage of electrical hookups, the accessibility of water and sewer connections, and the availability of dumping stations. Without direct information from Maplewood Estates, it is difficult to ascertain if they adequately cater to these needs. The quiet neighborhood aspect mentioned in one review might be appealing, but it needs to be balanced with the practical requirements of RV living.
The parking restriction for visitors is a notable feature mentioned in the reviews. This policy could stem from space limitations or a desire to maintain order within the community. For RV owners who plan to have guests, especially for extended periods, it is essential to clarify the visitor parking rules and explore potential alternatives or accommodations that the park might offer.
Given the limited information and the focus on the mobile home aspect in the reviews, it would be prudent for those searching for "RV parks near me" in Omaha to investigate further whether Maplewood Estates actively accommodates RVs and under what terms. Contacting the park directly with specific questions about RV site availability, amenities, hookups, pricing, and guest policies is highly recommended. Additionally, exploring other dedicated RV parks or campgrounds in the Omaha area might provide more tailored services and facilities for recreational vehicles.
In conclusion, Maplewood Estates in Omaha, Nebraska, appears to be a primarily residential mobile home park that is described as a "quiet neighborhood." However, the limited information available, particularly regarding its suitability and services for RVs, necessitates direct inquiry for anyone considering it as one of their "RV parks near me." The reported restriction on visitor parking is a specific point to address. Potential RV visitors or residents should contact Maplewood Estates directly to obtain comprehensive information about their RV accommodations and policies to determine if it meets their needs.

Maplewood Estates Reviews
This looks like a quiet neighborhood just don't like that you cannot park outside if you come to visit especially if you have family who are on hospice

Apr 28, 2025 · Cat Sheridani was kicked out of the pool for apparently wearing a not swim approved sports bra, when i wasn’t, just because its nike it doesn't mean its a regular sports bra. also there was a kid swimming next to me that was wearing a regular shirt and he got away with wearing only because his mom said it was fine.
Aug 02, 2024 · Rubus BradleyLet’s be clear here, if there is a 5 star review it didn’t come from anyone that’s actually ever lived here. The tidy community and location is what tricked me into buying a trailer there. Before I purchased the trailer I asked management if I could put a fence up,, to which they said yeah no problem . My reason for needing one was because I have a blue heeled that is animal aggressive and a handicap husband that would have difficulties putting our dog on a chain which could result in him being injured or possibly someone’s animal had she saw one while waiting to be clipped on chain.. after I purchased the trailer I was told no, they were no longer allowing fences to be put up. When I explained my reason Candis said sorry no fence. I was also getting new siding put on my trailer and had arranged for it to be completed before I moved in. The guy kept pushing the date back so it was 75% complete when I moved in. The first time I went to the office to ask about a pipe that was spraying water (outside where the hose attaches) and whether that was my responsibility or theirs I received my first “violation” saying the siding needed to be finished asap. Candis loves writing violations for the tenants she dislikes. I’m the year and a half I lived there I received at least 8 violations. Anything from weeds to asking me to remove the curtains I had in the front bedroom. Because they were about Jesus and she wanted them down. I took pictures of every complaint and took it to a lawyer just to see if this was harassment since none of the violations were constituted. He said it was harassment but advised to put up with it because I still lived there and the harassment would just escalate .they also like to play a tow your vehicle game because they get kick backs from the tow company. I saw a tow truck on the search on Easter Day when people have extra company and probably no where to park aside from the street in front of your trailer . Due to poor plumbing I had to have their maintenance man come blow the main line several times and what would happen is my neighbors would then be backed up. So we were told when the ground wasn’t frozen they weee going to replace that mainline . That also turned out to be a lie. It was wild and I blocked out a ton of the craziness. But you can’t utilize the club house. They have the pool closed more than it’s open and make you sign it to use it I’ve only met one other person in my life that literally gets joy from ruining someone’s day. The sad thing is it could be a super cute and fun community but like the saying goes one bad apple ruins the bunch. Also I spoke with neighbors to see if it was just me but nope. There are dozens of people she constantly harasses because she can. I wouldn’t recommend this place to someone I didn’t like . One more thing she also try’s to control the sale of your trailer. I know she denied people to live there just so It would take me longer to sale my trailer which thank God I did! P.S…it took 5 months to receive my deposit back. Once again she kept lying saying it was sent yet I never received it. I had to finally go to corporate for it. So I’d avoid this place at all cost!
Jan 16, 2024 · Billie HeathI am always getting calls from my elderly aunt and uncle about violations they have received for all sorts of things they themselves are unable to comply so I go lend a hand. I of course don’t mind helping them, I just hate how stressed out these violations make them. I wouldn’t recommend putting your elderly loved ones here.
