Peaceful Valley Manufactured Home Community Introduce
For those exploring "RV parks near me" or seeking information about manufactured home communities in Omaha, Nebraska, Peaceful Valley Manufactured Home Community, located at 7906 Irvington Rd, Omaha, NE 68122, USA, is an option to consider. They can be reached at (402) 934-5530 or via mobile at +1 402-934-5530. Understanding the experiences of current residents can be crucial when evaluating potential long-term living situations.
According to one long-term resident who has lived in Peaceful Valley for 16 years, the community was under previous ownership for a significant period. During that time, the lot rent reportedly increased by $100 over 15 years. However, the reviewer notes a more significant increase under the new ownership, with lot rent rising by $50-$55 in less than a year. This suggests a potential shift in management approach regarding pricing.
On a positive note, the long-term resident mentions that the new owners have taken action to remove some "problem people" from the community, which they view as a positive development. They also describe the park as "usually a very peaceful park," indicating that a generally quiet and tranquil environment is a characteristic of Peaceful Valley. The reviewer also observes that for the most part, residents take care of their properties, suggesting a degree of community pride and maintenance.
A significant point highlighted by this long-term resident is the current lot rent of $490.00. Since this resident owns their home, they consider this lot rent to be "really CHEAP living." This perspective suggests that for those who own their mobile or manufactured homes, the cost of renting a lot in Peaceful Valley might be relatively affordable compared to other housing options or RV park fees.
However, another recent review presents a starkly contrasting view of the new management. This reviewer describes the new management as "horrible" and claims they have done nothing to improve the community except raise the lot rent. The reviewer quotes the management's stated goal of providing "the best housing value" but argues that this is not the case for residents who own their mobile homes, as the management allegedly provides no additional services or improvements to justify the increased rent.
A specific grievance mentioned in the negative review is the lack of maintenance, citing an inoperable parking lot light that has reportedly remained unfixed for years despite repeated requests. This suggests potential issues with responsiveness to resident needs and the upkeep of community infrastructure. Based on this experience, the reviewer strongly advises against moving to Peaceful Valley, stating that it is "not worth it."
Considering these two reviews, there appears to be a divergence in the experiences of residents, potentially influenced by the change in ownership and management. While the long-term resident appreciates the peaceful environment and the relative affordability of the lot rent (having owned their home prior to the rent increases under new management), the more recent review expresses significant dissatisfaction with the new management's practices, particularly regarding rent increases and lack of maintenance.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me," it is important to note that Peaceful Valley is described as a "Manufactured Home Community." This typically implies that the lots are intended for long-term placement of manufactured homes rather than short-term stays for recreational vehicles. While some manufactured home communities might accommodate RVs on a longer-term basis, the primary focus is usually on those who own their dwellings and rent the land.
The information available does not provide specific details about amenities or services offered within Peaceful Valley Manufactured Home Community. Typically, such communities might offer basic utilities hookups (water, sewer, electricity), trash removal, and potentially common areas or maintenance of roadways. However, the negative review raises concerns about the actual provision of maintenance under the new management.
Given the contrasting opinions, prospective residents should exercise caution and conduct thorough due diligence. If you are considering Peaceful Valley as a potential "RV park near me" for a long-term stay in a mobile or manufactured home, it would be essential to directly contact the management to inquire about current lot availability, rental rates, included services, and community rules and regulations. It would also be prudent to ask about their approach to maintenance and addressing resident concerns.
Visiting the community in person could also provide valuable insights into the environment and the general upkeep of the property. Speaking with current residents, if possible, might offer additional perspectives beyond the online reviews. It is important to weigh the reported benefits of a peaceful environment and potentially affordable lot rent (for homeowners) against the concerns raised about management practices and maintenance.
In conclusion, Peaceful Valley Manufactured Home Community in Omaha presents a mixed picture based on the available online reviews. While a long-term resident appreciates the peaceful atmosphere and affordable lot rent for homeowners, a more recent review expresses significant dissatisfaction with the new management's rent increases and perceived lack of service. For those searching for "RV parks near me" for long-term manufactured home placement, careful consideration of these perspectives and direct communication with the management are strongly advised to determine if Peaceful Valley aligns with your needs and expectations.

Peaceful Valley Manufactured Home Community Reviews
I have lived here for 16 years under the previous owner the lot rent went up 100.00 in 15 years. New owners have increased it by 50.00-55.00 in less than a year. They have moved some of the problem people out of here, which is nice. It is usually a very peaceful park. There always has to be 1 or 2 in a community to know law enforcement way more than the rest of us. For the most part people take care of there property!! Lot rent now is 490.00 and I own my place so that really CHEAP living!!!
May 25, 2020 · Diann ChafaNew management is horrible. They have consistently done nothing to our community except raise our lot rent. Claiming that their goal is to provide us with “the best housing value” except we own our mobile homes. They do not provide us with anything except higher lot rent and new bills. I can’t even get my parking lot light fixed, it’s been inoperable for years and I have repeatedly requested it to be fixed. Don’t move here, it’s not worth it.
May 01, 2019 · Audrey HowardI have lived in Peaceful Valley Mobile Home Park for 13 years. It was a great place to live. Several months ago it was bought by a company called RV Horizons. They raised the Lot rent by 50 dollars a month. There are no amenities in this park. No swimming pool, club house, courts or play grounds. We pay for water, gas, electric, cable, trash removal everything. They send threatening letters about getting things replaced such as skirting or new blinds for windows. Everyone here owns their own trailers and maintains there upkeep. The road full of potholes. The grounds are looking trashy compared to how they use to be kept. It makes us all very sad.
Jun 26, 2018 · Barb LeighPatti was excellent to work with! We were having some troubles getting things finalized, then Patti showed up and handled everything very quickly and professionally. Was a joy to work with and made the process simple as could be! Highly recommend!
Aug 10, 2021 · Max FischerThis used to be a great place to live, everyone it was bought by the new owners the lot rent has went up $75 and the new park manager is rude and won't come and talk to anyone in person, just wants to send notices thru the mail. Wish there was a way to move my home to a different location because it's just going to get worse.
