Mariners Cove Mobile Home Park Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" or considering mobile home living in the Clearwater, Florida area, Mariners Cove Mobile Home Park, located at 5796 Ulmerton Rd, Clearwater, FL 33760, USA, presents a community with a history of management changes and significant environmental concerns that potential residents and visitors should carefully consider. You can contact them at (727) 531-5288 or +1 727-531-5288 to inquire further, but it is crucial to be aware of the issues raised in recent customer reviews.
Several reviews offer critical perspectives on the current management of Mariners Cove Mobile Home Park. One long-term resident who lived there for over ten years contrasted the current management company, implied to be Lakeshore Management based on a later comment, with a previous company named Riverstone. According to this reviewer, Riverstone "actually cared about the residents and the park!" In stark contrast, the current management is perceived as primarily focused on rent collection and "how they can price gouge you on that!" The reviewer also characterizes the current management as "ineffective at best," suggesting potential issues with responsiveness and addressing resident concerns.
Another significant point of contention raised in the reviews concerns park upgrades and amenities. Residents reportedly inquired about a playground for children over two years ago and were told it was "in the works" pending permits. The reviewer expresses skepticism about the timeline, stating, "Yeah it doesn't take 2yrs to get a permit for a simple playground." This suggests a lack of progress on promised improvements and potentially a disconnect between management communication and actual action.
A particularly alarming review details a severe experience during Tropical Storm Debby. A resident living in a unit right on the Cross Bayou Canal experienced approximately three feet of water inside their trailer and reportedly lost all their belongings. The review alleges that the management only returned a small portion of the money paid to move in and stated that the loss was not their problem, advising the resident should have had renters insurance. Critically, the reviewer claims there was no prior disclosure about potential flooding risks. This lack of information before move-in is a serious concern, especially given Florida's vulnerability to tropical weather events. The reviewer further states that the park "floods from just a rain storm," raising significant questions about the safety and suitability of the location, particularly for those with valuable belongings or concerns about property damage from flooding.
The reviewer also describes what they perceived as insensitive and potentially exploitative behavior by the management following the flooding incident, including wanting the resident to clean the flooded trailer while it was excessively hot due to dehumidifiers and failing to replace essential items like a trash can that was washed away. The alleged promise of a safer front lot was reportedly only mentioned after the resident left and considered legal action.
Given these serious allegations, potential RV travelers searching for "RV parks near me" and individuals considering mobile home residency at Mariners Cove Mobile Home Park should be extremely cautious and conduct thorough due diligence. The reviews paint a concerning picture of ineffective management, a lack of promised amenities, and, most importantly, a significant risk of flooding with potential financial and personal losses for residents. The apparent failure to disclose flood risks to new residents is particularly troubling.
Due to the overwhelmingly negative nature of the recent reviews and the serious concerns raised, it is challenging to provide an objective introduction that highlights positive aspects of the environment, services, or features of Mariners Cove Mobile Home Park based solely on this information. The primary themes emerging from the reviews are mismanagement and environmental risks.
Typically, mobile home and RV parks offer basic services such as utility hookups (electricity, water, sewer), and potentially amenities like laundry facilities or common areas. However, the provided reviews do not offer any positive insights into the current state or quality of these potential services at Mariners Cove. The focus is instead on management shortcomings and the serious issue of flooding.
Similarly, there is no mention of any promotional information in the provided reviews. Given the negative feedback, it is unlikely that potential residents or RV guests would be drawn by promotional offers without addressing the fundamental concerns raised about management and safety.
In conclusion, Mariners Cove Mobile Home Park in Clearwater, Florida, is a community that has received significant negative feedback regarding its current management and, most alarmingly, its susceptibility to flooding, with allegations of non-disclosure of these risks to residents. Potential RV travelers searching for "RV parks near me" and individuals considering mobile home living in this park should proceed with extreme caution. Thorough investigation, including direct and detailed questioning of the management about flood risks, management practices, and the status of promised amenities, is absolutely essential before making any decisions. It would also be advisable to seek perspectives from current residents beyond the online reviews to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the current living conditions and potential risks at Mariners Cove Mobile Home Park. The serious nature of the allegations warrants a very cautious approach.
To obtain any information about RV site availability, mobile home options, amenities, policies regarding flooding, and any current promotions, please contact Mariners Cove Mobile Home Park directly at (727) 531-5288 or +1 727-531-5288, or visit them at 5796 Ulmerton Rd, Clearwater, FL 33760, USA. However, given the serious concerns raised in the customer reviews, prospective residents and visitors should approach any information received with a critical eye and seek independent verification where possible.

Mariners Cove Mobile Home Park Reviews
I lived there for over 10yrs. The first Management company Riverstone actually cared about the residents and the park! The new company all they care about is you paying rent and how they can price gouge you on that! Their Management is ineffective at best. When we asked about park upgrades and getting a playground for this kids they have said it's in the works now for over 2yrs. Saying they are trying to get permits. Yeah it doesn't take 2yrs to get a permit for a simple playground.I can't speak for other Lakeshore Management Parks but they definitely aren't doing squat for the people at Mariners Cove!
Jan 13, 2025 · Marc SidensteckerMy sister and my nephew lived in unit 319 right on the cross bayou canal…she was there for 2 weeks and lost everything she owns to TS Debby and they only gave her $400 back she paid to get it and told her what she lost wasn’t their problem she should have gotten renters insurance, they didn’t tell her anything about flooding she had to find out for her self all her baby books her mothers ashes all my nephews brand new toys I bought him for his birthday gone..before you move here think about what’s going to happen to your property if you do…the water was approximately 3ft inside the trailer this is something that should have been spoken about before move in but it wasn’t and also they wanted her to clean the trailer out but had 5 dehumidifiers in the trailer ( so they can rent it to some other idiot ) making it over 100 degrees and her trash can washed away and they never brought her another they claimed they were gonna put her in a front lot to be safer but they never told her a word about this until after she left and wanted to take legal action…this place floods from just a rain storm so what do you think will happen in a cat 1+ hurricane, be safe Florida
Aug 11, 2024 · chevykillr 111Amenities advertised are not availableSchool bus not available either.Rental agreement has SEVERE penalties. Don't BE A DAY LATE ...the late fees are tabulated daily. If more than a month you are not permitted to pay any amount less than the 2 months at once. Try keeping up with those penalties! Then the Attorney adds his outrageous fees ... forecloses on your trailer over late lot rental !Sounds illegal Absolutely Shameful !Who wants to live in a place that treats suffering people so horribly
Jan 23, 2024 · Beverley FrenchI love the new management. He's been trying to straighten up the mess they left behind. Steve helps out everyone when needed. Everything will change soon and it's a great change for everyone that lives here. He runs two parks and does an awesome job taking on that employment. It's a quiet neighborhood you could hear a pin drop at night that's how quiet it is. I've been here 3 years plus and already see a change for the better. It's family oriented place to live. I'm raising two grandchildren and they love it here. I give Steve 2 thumbs up. People gotta understand you got two parks to run and you can't be at two places at one time. You take time to make sure that each park gets attended to. Now all we need is the home owners to update their homes property etc. The only problem I feel is not being taken care of properly is doing events. I said I would do them for these kids in here. They rely on me to say things that need to be said. Flooding is the main issue which I believe the county of Pinellas should take care of.. Us as homeowners that live near the creek make sure trash etc doesn't go in there on a windy day. But yes I would recommend living here.
Apr 11, 2019 · Wendy RobertsonCouldn't be happier here. Lisa in the office is the best! We moved down here from Ohio and she has gone ABOVE and BEYOND to make us feel welcome and has helped us in so many ways. This place is much more like a family than a mobile home park. You seriously grow to love it here!
