For local families and RV enthusiasts searching for 'camping near me' that offers a blend of outdoor living and community engagement, Golden Eagle RV Village, located at 42488 480th Ave, Perham, MN 56573, USA, presents itself as a welcoming destination. You can reach them at (218) 346-4386 or +1 218-346-4386 for inquiries and reservations.
The environment of Golden Eagle RV Village, based on the limited but positive customer reviews, appears to be geared towards creating a family-friendly and social atmosphere. Located near Perham, Minnesota, the surrounding landscape would likely feature the characteristic beauty of the region, potentially including rolling hills, forests, and perhaps proximity to lakes or other natural attractions common in central Minnesota. The focus of the RV village, however, seems to be more on the amenities and the social interactions it fosters within the park itself rather than a secluded natural setting.
In terms of services and features, the reviews highlight several key aspects. The mention of "Awesome staff" suggests a focus on customer service and a welcoming environment for guests. This can be a significant factor for local users seeking a pleasant and hassle-free camping experience. The presence of a "nice pool for the kids" indicates a family-friendly amenity that would be particularly appealing during the warmer months, offering a space for recreation and relaxation for children.
Another notable feature is the description of the park as being suitable for those who enjoy "closeness for young families or golf cart socializing." This implies that the RV sites might be situated relatively close together, fostering a sense of community and interaction among campers. The reference to "golf cart socializing" suggests that golf carts are permitted and perhaps even a popular mode of transportation and social interaction within the RV village, contributing to a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
The availability of a "great open playground" further reinforces the family-oriented nature of Golden Eagle RV Village. A playground provides a dedicated space for children to play and burn off energy, making it an attractive feature for families with young kids looking for 'camping near me' where their children can stay entertained. The mention of a "club room" suggests an indoor communal space that could be used for various activities, gatherings, or simply as a place for campers to socialize, especially during inclement weather.
While the reviews are brief, they provide valuable insights into the type of experience offered at Golden Eagle RV Village. It appears to be an RV park that prioritizes a social and family-friendly environment with key amenities like a pool, playground, and club room. The welcoming staff also contribute to a positive guest experience. The emphasis on closeness and golf cart socializing suggests a community-oriented atmosphere where interaction among campers is common and encouraged.
Based on these features, the promotional appeal of Golden Eagle RV Village to local users searching for 'camping near me' would likely focus on its family-friendly amenities and its vibrant social environment. It could be promoted as an ideal destination for families with young children looking for a fun and engaging camping experience with a pool and playground. The welcoming staff and the opportunity for social interaction with other campers, particularly through golf cart usage, could be highlighted as unique aspects of the RV village.
The club room could be promoted as a versatile space for gatherings, games, or simply relaxing indoors. The overall atmosphere of closeness and community could be appealing to those who enjoy a more interactive camping experience rather than complete seclusion. For local RV owners, the park likely offers the necessary hookups (water, electricity, sewer), although this is not explicitly stated in the provided reviews. It would be reasonable to assume that an RV village would provide these essential services.
To further attract local users, Golden Eagle RV Village might consider promoting any additional amenities they offer, such as laundry facilities, Wi-Fi access, planned activities or events, or any unique aspects of their location near Perham, Minnesota. Highlighting the cleanliness and maintenance of the park and its facilities would also be beneficial in attracting families and RVers looking for a comfortable and well-kept environment.
Local residents interested in staying at Golden Eagle RV Village should contact them directly at the provided phone numbers to inquire about site availability, pricing, specific amenities offered (including RV hookups), and any rules or regulations. Asking about the pool's operating hours, playground details, and the availability and usage of the club room would also be helpful in determining if it meets their needs. For those interested in golf cart usage, it would be wise to inquire about any specific guidelines or requirements.
In conclusion, Golden Eagle RV Village near Perham, MN, appears to be a family-oriented RV park that emphasizes a social and community-focused camping experience. With its awesome staff, nice pool for kids, great open playground, and club room, it offers amenities geared towards families and those who enjoy interacting with other campers. The allowance and apparent popularity of golf cart socializing further contribute to this friendly atmosphere. For local users searching for 'camping near me' that combines outdoor living with a welcoming community and family-friendly features, Golden Eagle RV Village presents a compelling option.

Golden Eagle RV Village Reviews
Awesome staff, nice pool for the kids! Very accommodating.
Aug 10, 2024 · Greg StewartIf you like closeness for young families or golf cart socializing. This would be fun with friends or outgoing people. There is a great open playground and club room.
Jul 10, 2024 · Cindy TernesIt’s was really fun to go to we were planing to go to my cabin but it was to wet so wet to this place and the workers were nice and helpful. We had dogs with us and we needed to go to a dog friendly campground I would recommend this campground
May 30, 2024 · Mads MeyenburgThis was our second and last year of staying in the cabins. We stayed in cabin 2. I have to say, these cabins definitely need some updating. The showers are tiny and moldy which was pretty gross to shower in. Had to wear shower shoes on the bathroom floors, although they looked clean, they were old. You have to bring all of your own tolietrys, paper products, linens, hand towels, kitchen towels etc. They do inform you of this in the paperwork. The cabins are expensive and not worth it. The grounds are lovely and the pool is decent. My family enjoyed fishing, boating, and taking walks around the campground. The staff are friendly. Overall, great place to camp but we will not be staying in the cabins again, its just too expensive for what you get which is not much. They need updating and no carpet.
Aug 05, 2016 · Julie JulieI have Been going to Golden Eagle for years now and I just have to say that they are the best! Very accommodating. I have stayed in both the A frame cabins and the Duplex down by the beautiful lake. They have always been clean. The views are amazing! You can fish right off the docks. Close to town but you still have that "country feel". Very friendly staff. Mike and Connie are always so friendly.
