Meadow Lake Resort Introduce
For local residents seeking "RV parks near me" in the Seguin, Texas area, Meadow Lake Resort, located at 266 Meadow Lake Dr, Seguin, TX 78155, USA, offers a unique lakeside experience. Situated along Meadow Lake, which is connected to the Guadalupe River, this resort provides a scenic environment for RV enthusiasts looking for a relaxing getaway close to home. While customer reviews offer insights into various aspects of the resort, it's important to consider these perspectives when evaluating Meadow Lake Resort for your next local RV adventure.
The environment of Meadow Lake Resort is a significant draw, with its namesake lake providing a central feature for recreation and natural beauty. One reviewer noted the presence of river water in the lake, which, while described as "dark and murky," was also considered "great to swim" in before a partial draining. This suggests that water-based activities are a key part of the Meadow Lake experience. The "nice view" mentioned by another reviewer further highlights the scenic appeal of the resort, indicating that guests can enjoy pleasant surroundings during their stay. For local users who appreciate lakeside settings and the opportunity for water activities, Meadow Lake Resort could be an attractive option.
In terms of services, Meadow Lake Resort appears to offer some standard amenities, but with potential limitations. Internet access is reportedly available, but its range might be restricted, suggesting that connectivity may not be accessible from all RV sites within the park. The mention of cable TV "supposedly" being available without cable boxes indicates that this amenity might not be fully functional or easily accessible for all guests. Local users who rely heavily on these services should inquire about the specific availability and limitations before booking their stay.
The facilities at Meadow Lake Resort include a washroom with laundry machines, although a reviewer noted that "only a few machines work." This suggests that while laundry services are provided, the number of operational units might be limited, potentially leading to wait times during peak periods. Additionally, the resort has a "nice hall" that is currently closed, meaning that planned events or gatherings might not be taking place. Local RV clubs or groups considering Meadow Lake Resort for events should verify the status and availability of the hall.
A notable feature of Meadow Lake Resort is its access to the water. While the "boat ramp is broken," the resort still allows launching of rafts or kayaks. This provides an opportunity for guests to enjoy the lake and potentially the Guadalupe River at their own pace. For local users who own kayaks or rafts and are looking for a convenient launch point, Meadow Lake Resort could be a suitable choice. However, those with larger boats requiring a functional boat ramp will need to consider alternative options in the area.
Payment at Meadow Lake Resort is reportedly done online, and one reviewer mentioned an "extra $20.00 for service charge." Local users accustomed to traditional payment methods should be aware of this online payment requirement and the potential additional fee. It's advisable to confirm the total cost, including any service charges, when making a reservation through the online platform.
Security is highlighted as a positive feature, with a reviewer stating, "Security is good so you feel safe." This is an important aspect for any RV park, providing peace of mind for guests and their belongings. Local users seeking a secure environment for their RV stay will likely appreciate this feature at Meadow Lake Resort.
Considering the information gathered from the customer reviews, Meadow Lake Resort offers a lakeside setting with potential for water-based recreation, particularly for those with rafts or kayaks. While some amenities like internet access and laundry facilities have reported limitations, and the boat ramp is currently out of service, the sense of security is a notable positive. Local RV enthusiasts should weigh these factors against their individual needs and preferences. The online payment system and associated service charge are also important considerations.

Jul 08, 2023 · Greg mossNice view, nice park. The have internet but only if your in range and they have cable supposedly but no cable boxes so it’s useless. The wash room is nice but only a few machines work.Has a nice hall but is closed and so basically no events to speak of. Boat ramp is broken but you can raft or kayak. You pay online so get ready for that extra 20.00 for service charge. Security is good so you feel safe .

Access to the dog parkis located between Lot #14 and #15. Also we have had complaints about guest taken there pets in other guest lots or going through there spot to do there deed. Please respect othersand use the Dog park. Also we have late night dog walkers from 12:00am through 4:00am. If you are walking your pet at this time it is still you're responsibility to take flash light andbags at all time to clean up. We understand your pet might not make it to dog park in time depending on your lot location, so please see that this is done on a timely manner. We have sent numerous E-mails out on this. So no exceptions if caught there will be a $50.00 fine added to rent starting immediately!!!!Speeding In The Park. There is a 5 MPH SPEED LIMIT in this park, numerous E-mails have been sent on this. Jun 18, 2022 · Teresa WellsWe lived here just shy of a year, and loved it! We met so many friendly people, and got RV advice from other residents. The manager and his wife are very kind and helpful. The section of the Guadalupe river where this park is located is very beautiful and fairly quiet. I would definitely recommend this park to anyone looking to stay in the Seguin area!
Apr 20, 2021 · Joseph HagenIt appears that about a year ago, the new owners were making improvements and upgrades to the park. It is a nice spot, but a lot can happen in a year. Several residents are experiencing frequent power outages now that hot weather has hit, compromising safety and subjecting rigs to damaging power surges. To date, the owners seem to be dismissing the issue and taking no action to address it. It really sends a message of, "go stay elsewhere if you don't like it." I suggest you do that and don't spend your money to stay where it's not safe for your family and animals.
