Meadowbrook Introduce
For individuals searching within the "RV Parks Near Me" category who may be considering a longer-term residential option in Charlotte, North Carolina, Meadowbrook, located at 9859 Spring Ridge Ln, is a manufactured home community that warrants careful consideration. Based on recent feedback, the community consists of both single and double wide homes, with a structure where residents often own their homes but lease the land on which they are situated. While some residents express a desire to purchase their homes and integrate into the community, it is crucial to acknowledge significant concerns raised by prospective residents regarding the application process and interactions with management and associated financing entities.
The environment of Meadowbrook appears to be that of a typical manufactured home community, offering a neighborhood setting with both single and double wide residences. One current resident mentions a sense of community, highlighted by a neighbor's kindness in sharing event tickets. This suggests a potential for neighborly interaction and community spirit within Meadowbrook. Additionally, the resident's personal activities of wreath making and gardening imply a degree of personalization and care for their living space and potentially the community's aesthetic. However, it is important to balance this positive aspect with the deeply concerning experience of a prospective resident attempting to move into a Clayton home double wide within Meadowbrook. This individual's account details a frustrating and ultimately unsuccessful two-and-a-half-month ordeal marked by delays, miscommunication, and allegations of discriminatory behavior during the application and financing process.
The services and features of Meadowbrook, based on the limited information available, are primarily centered around providing a residential setting with land for lease. The mention of residents buying their homes but renting the land indicates the basic structure of the community. Beyond this, the reviews do not provide specific details about community amenities such as recreational facilities, maintenance services, or community events, aside from the anecdotal evidence of neighborly interactions. The negative experience of the prospective resident sheds light on potential issues with the application process, communication between the community's management (represented by an individual named Jeff) and a financing company (Triad), and the overall efficiency and transparency of the move-in process. This account suggests potential difficulties in securing a home within Meadowbrook, even with apparent financial readiness and a loan approval from the financing company.
A key feature of the Meadowbrook community seems to be the model of home ownership combined with land rental. This is a common structure in manufactured home communities, allowing residents to own their dwelling while leasing the underlying land, which can sometimes make homeownership more accessible. However, the experience of the prospective resident highlights significant potential downsides related to this model, particularly when dealing with the community's management and their affiliated financing options. The alleged delays in preparing a "new" double wide trailer for move-in, the conflicting information and poor communication between the management and the financing company, and the eventual failure of the application process despite the prospective resident's apparent qualifications, raise serious concerns about the reliability and professionalism of the involved parties. The further implication of potential profiling based on race adds another deeply troubling dimension to this account.
For local users within the "RV Parks Near Me" category who might be considering Meadowbrook for long-term residential purposes, it is crucial to weigh the limited positive indicators of community spirit against the significant negative experiences reported by a prospective resident. While the idea of owning a home in a community setting might be appealing, the potential for a fraught and ultimately unsuccessful application process, coupled with allegations of poor communication and discriminatory behavior, should not be taken lightly. The fact that the prospective resident was encouraged to proceed with the application and even visit the home multiple times, only to have the goalpost moved repeatedly and ultimately see the home given to someone else shortly after they withdrew their application, suggests a lack of transparency and potentially unfair practices.
Currently, there is no information available regarding any promotional offers or incentives for moving into Meadowbrook. Given the serious concerns raised in the detailed negative review, it would be prudent for any interested parties to proceed with extreme caution and conduct thorough due diligence. This should include seeking out multiple perspectives from current residents (if possible), directly and clearly communicating with the management about the application process, lease terms, and any affiliations with specific financing companies. It would also be wise to explore alternative financing options independently and to be prepared for potential delays or complications based on the reported experiences.
In conclusion, Meadowbrook in Charlotte, NC, presents itself as a manufactured home community where residents typically own their homes but rent the land. While there is a suggestion of community spirit among some residents, a significant and deeply concerning account from a prospective resident details a severely negative experience with the application process, marked by delays, miscommunication, and allegations of discriminatory behavior involving the community's management and a financing company. For local users within the "RV Parks Near Me" category considering Meadowbrook for long-term residency, it is strongly recommended to exercise extreme caution, conduct thorough independent investigation, and seek multiple sources of information before making any decisions. The potential for a difficult and unsuccessful move-in process, as highlighted in the detailed negative review, warrants serious consideration.

Meadowbrook Reviews
(PLEASE READ) Me and my family were so excited to move in with meadow Brook homes, we had everything ready to go down payment work info everything felt like it was good to go. We even got a loan from Triad, we spent 2 and a half months trying to get into this Clayton home double wide trailer that was taking way too long to "fix" all while being rushed for a down payment by Jeff. We called triad to see if everything was set on their end and they had the nastiest attitude stating "we don't talk to the buyers only sun communities management" then proceeded to say but everything is ready to go on their end. So we stayed in touch with Jeff and he says everything is good to go on his end meanwhile we are still in our rental waiting for the keys to our new home like he promised would be on a Friday. He tells us to come up to see the home twice just to see the progress of where they were all while everything looked good we didn't know what was waiting around the corner. Triad and Jeff had been communicating with each other and somehow we had to start from scratch with the application process and sending in all the information that we had already did. He would tell us Triad said we needed this and that or to redo something we've already done everything on our end was 100 percent legit and correct no holes no games just proof of everything. He started acting weird to us asking if our down payment check was real and where is the name on it as if he never seen a check from SECU Credit Union State Employees. So we told him the name is literally on the front of the cashier's check it was if him and triad were profiling us (yes we are black) and then he started making more and more excuses as to why it was taking so long telling us oh we need to resend the Cash on hand letter and write it over how we saved 8k dollars because Triad wasn't taking it. We just stopped trying and told him we appreciate the help but this is getting draining and something isn't adding up. So now we are still looking for our first home and my son was so upset that he seen a home he thought was his but in the end they gave it to someone else not even a week after we declined continuing applying. I don't know who to blame Jeff or Triad but should have known from all the bad reviews.
Apr 13, 2025 · Myrahs LifeWe live in the Meadowbrook Community of Manufactured Homes. There are single and double wide homes. Most people are buying their homes but we are obligated to rent to land. With God's and if it's the best thing to do, we will be buying our home before Summer. Our neighbor bought us tickets to see Bon Jovi. I make wreaths and do gardening. Be blessed.
Apr 17, 2022 · Elizabeth StrongMeadow Brook Park Community is a great place to live in, but as anywhere else, it has its Pros & Cons! Its a pretty quite community for the most part, no graffiti, no trash on the street, and no vandalism in the community, the houses are beautiful and pretty large for manufactured homes. The Cons are that some park regulations get enforced while others don't, the park is pretty strict with the lawn regulations, which I understand, the park does need to look nice & neat, to have a good presentable image, that's understandable, but what's not understandable is people letting their Pitbull's run around without leashes, animals that are statistically prone to violence, which many times turn out to be lethal; according to park policy these animals are not even suppose to be allowed in the park, yet they are there, and running around without leashes! Another issue at Meadowbrook is the double parked cars, you have to swirl around the double parked cars, and almost get hit by thugs driving at 55mph in a Park Community! The park is beautiful, the park manager is a great guy, very helpful & polite, I highly recommend living in this community, but as anywhere else, it has it's fair share of Pros & Cons.
Aug 05, 2023 · Ronnie AyalaMeadowbrook Park Community is a great & beautiful location to reside in! The streets are clean, the park for the most part is quite, the view of the trees behind the houses is beautiful! The park is safe, affordable and in a very convenient location! The Office Staff is very helpful! Juan, the Park General Manager is the best, he’s very friendly, polite and easy to work with! With Juan, we have a manager who actually enforces the park rules, and keeps order in the park. I’ve lived at this park since June 25th of 2021, and I enjoy residing at this mobile home park community. Meadowbrook Park community is one of the best manufactured homes community’s in the Charlotte metropolitan area.
