Miami Mobile Home Community Introduce
Are you searching for "RV parks near me" in the Miami, Oklahoma area? Miami Mobile Home Community presents itself as a potentially quiet and established option offering full hookups for RV travelers. Located at 2001 E Steve Owens Blvd # 18, Miami, OK 74354, this community can be reached at (918) 542-2287 or +1 918-542-2287.
Based on available online reviews, experiences at Miami Mobile Home Community appear to be mixed, and it is crucial for potential visitors to consider both positive and negative feedback when making their decision. One reviewer describes the community as a "nice RV Park" with "Full Hookups," emphasizing its quiet and pleasant atmosphere. This positive experience highlights the potential for a peaceful stay and the convenience of having all necessary utility connections available.
However, another, more detailed review paints a contrasting picture, raising concerns about the park's management and maintenance practices. This reviewer recounts a significant issue with the electrical hookup at their assigned spot upon arrival with a new RV. According to their account, the management allegedly did not properly diagnose the electrical problem, initially attributing it to the RV itself. The reviewer states that they had to hire an external technician who identified that one leg of the 50-amp service was not functioning correctly, a diagnosis they believe the park's management should have been able to make.
Furthermore, this reviewer alleges a lack of responsibility from the management regarding the faulty electrical box. They mention an initial offer of a complimentary stay to offset the technician's cost, which was later reportedly reduced due to the time the management spent attempting to troubleshoot the issue themselves. The reviewer's perspective is that this troubleshooting was prolonged due to a lack of expertise in testing 50-amp electrical service.
Beyond the electrical issue, the same reviewer also describes further maintenance concerns. They mention being moved to a different spot with a leaking water spigot, which they cite as an example of a lack of routine maintenance. Additionally, they recount an incident of vandalism where a window on their RV was broken. These cumulative negative experiences led them to relocate to another RV park in the area.
The reviewer also shares a concerning anecdote about the park manager allegedly mentioning instances of electrical lines melting to other residents' RVs, which they felt was dismissed by the management as not being their responsibility, potentially pointing towards concerns about the aging infrastructure of the park.
Considering these contrasting accounts, it is essential for prospective guests to weigh the positive feedback regarding the quiet community and full hookups against the serious allegations of inadequate maintenance and customer service issues. The discrepancy in experiences suggests that while some visitors have had pleasant stays, others have encountered significant problems.
Environment and Community:
One positive aspect highlighted by a reviewer is the "Very Quiet And Nice Community" at Miami Mobile Home Community. This suggests that for individuals seeking a peaceful and low-key environment, the park might be appealing. A quiet atmosphere can be a significant draw for RVers looking to relax and unwind during their travels. The mention of a "nice community" also implies a potentially friendly and welcoming environment among the residents.
Services and Features:
The availability of "Full Hookups" is explicitly mentioned in a positive review. This is a significant feature for RV travelers, as it typically includes connections for water, sewer, and electricity. Full hookups provide convenience and allow RVers to utilize all the amenities within their vehicles without limitations. However, the negative review raises serious questions about the reliability and maintenance of these essential services, particularly the electrical system.
The provided information does not detail other specific amenities that might be available at Miami Mobile Home Community, such as laundry facilities, restrooms, showers, Wi-Fi, or recreational areas. Potential guests may need to contact the park directly to inquire about the full range of services and features offered.

An Objective Overview:
Miami Mobile Home Community is presented as an RV park in Miami, Oklahoma, offering full hookups and a reportedly quiet community. One reviewer had a positive experience, noting the park's quiet atmosphere and the convenience of full hookups. However, another detailed review raises significant concerns regarding the management's responsiveness to maintenance issues, particularly with the electrical system, as well as broader concerns about the park's maintenance practices and customer service. Potential guests should carefully consider these contrasting experiences and may wish to seek additional reviews or contact the park directly to address any concerns before making a reservation.
Given the limited and conflicting information available online, it is difficult to provide a fully comprehensive and definitively positive or negative introduction. The positive feedback suggests that the park may offer a quiet setting with essential amenities. However, the serious allegations in the negative review regarding electrical issues, lack of maintenance, and customer service cannot be ignored and should prompt potential visitors to exercise caution and conduct further due diligence.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me," Miami Mobile Home Community is an option to consider, but with the caveat that online feedback presents a mixed picture. It is recommended that interested individuals contact the park directly to inquire about their current policies, maintenance procedures, and to get a clearer understanding of the services and environment they can expect. Visiting the park in person, if feasible, could also provide valuable insights before committing to a stay.

Miami Mobile Home Community Reviews
Miami Mobile Home Community Is a nice RV Park, Full Hookups, Very Quiet And Nice Community, We Stayed Here Before, Never Had Any Problems. We Will Be Back.
Jun 01, 2023 · Leo McConnellNothing that happens here is ever their fault. They don't take any responsibility for their mistakes. Case in point, we pulled a brand new never lived in rig into a spot. Ironically I had asked them which spot had the best electricity. They said "they're all the same" which means we don't check any of them, until a problem arises. So, turns out the electrical box was bad but they blamed it on the RV. They "tested" the electric to determine it was our RV and not their box. Funny cause when the tech came out we had to hire from over an hour away who actually knew how to test electricity knew that 50 amp has two legs that need to be working. So had they known how to test their electric we would not have NEEDED to call a tech to come out and do it right. Remember, no matter what happens it's always your fault. SO, they offered two weeks stay to offset the cost of the tech which was a little more than two weeks rent. That didn't last long. Then they started whining about how much time they spent ttouble shooting THEIR bad electrical pole. The REASON they spent so much time was they don't know what they are doing. They threw a multi meter on it, it showed voltage and they're like "gee we don't know why your brand new rig won't work" The answer was it was 50 amp and they did not know to test both sides. So it went from two weeks, to one week, to actually only 5 days they gave because they don't know how to test their electrical. No wonder they don't do any routine maintenance. They had to move the rig to a new spot, that spot had a leaking water spigot, again NO MAINTENANCE. Then after that someone knocked out the rear window in our brand new rig. That was enough and we moved two RVs and a third one met us out at Twin Pines RV Park out by the State Park by the lake. A new park with new electrical throughout. No problems there. Good solid electrical hook ups. The manager at Miami Mobile Home was telling me about electrical lines melting going to people's rigs, again with their never their fault mentality, it never even dawns on them that it might just be THEIR aging antiquated unmaintenanced power lines. And I was like "ya think?"
Aug 02, 2023 · The Big DI had a lot of fun with my daughter and some friends thank you Miami very much
Apr 10, 2025 · Ted WattsI have stayed here several times. The staff are very nice and laid back. There is a laundry room and showers. I have a 33ft motorhome with a 26ft car hauler and it fits perfectly in the camp site with All hookups. You can stay monthly if you like. Very quiet and close to whatever you need. This will be my spot to stay whenever I'm in the area.
Dec 18, 2022 · Jerry RobinsonI lived there for 2 years, never had any issues. Melissa and her husband are great. While living there the gentleman who was mowing for them threw a rock my way and broke my windshield on my Bus. I have a Class A RV. Got an estimate turned it in and the main company hasn't been in contact with me at all. I tried to get in contact with them and they answered right away when they thought I was going to rent something from them. When they realized what I was wanting they blew me off. It's very disheartening to see what the people in our world have become.I'm really sorry but I would not recommend this park, at all. 👎
