Minerva Mobile Home Park Introduce
Welcome to Minerva Mobile Home Park, located at 2800 U.S. Highway 17-92 North W, Haines City, FL 33844, USA. If you are searching for "RV parks near me" or considering a mobile home community in the Haines City area, it is crucial to approach Minerva Mobile Home Park with careful consideration due to significant concerns raised in recent customer reviews. These reviews paint a picture of a community facing considerable challenges related to management, maintenance, and security, which prospective residents should be aware of.
One particularly detailed review comes from a former on-site manager who lived at Minerva Mobile Home Park. This individual's experience provides an insider's perspective on the operational issues within the park. They state that Minerva MHP "has the potential to be a wonderful place to live" but is currently hindered by inadequate management and maintenance. The former manager resigned due to reduced working hours and a write-up from the regional director, indicating potential issues with the regional management's operational practices and treatment of on-site staff.
A significant concern raised by the former manager is the apparent lack of effective maintenance. They mention that the "head maintenance is the regional son," implying a potential conflict of interest or lack of accountability in the maintenance department, leading to projects not being completed. The regional director's control over the maintenance staff's daily tasks and their unavailability after hours, except at the risk of being "yelled at or written up," further suggests a dysfunctional management structure that may negatively impact the timely resolution of maintenance issues for residents.
The former manager's personal experience of having to fix maintenance issues themselves or facing repercussions for contacting management after hours paints a concerning picture for current and future tenants. This lack of reliable maintenance can significantly affect the quality of life within the mobile home park, potentially leading to deteriorating property conditions and unresolved repair needs.
Furthermore, the former manager's statement that the park "needs better people to make it look good instead of looking like the ghetto home place" is a serious indictment of the current state of the park's upkeep and overall appearance. This suggests that the lack of effective maintenance and potentially other factors are contributing to a less-than-desirable living environment. For those seeking "RV parks near me" or a mobile home community that is well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing, this feedback raises significant red flags.
Another grave concern highlighted in the reviews is the issue of security within Minerva Mobile Home Park. One resident explicitly states, "We have thieves in the park and management don't want to get rid of them because they will lose money." This is an extremely serious accusation, suggesting a potential disregard for the safety and security of the residents in favor of financial considerations. The presence of thieves within a community and the alleged inaction of management can create a climate of fear and distrust among residents, severely impacting their quality of life and sense of security. For anyone considering moving into Minerva Mobile Home Park, this is a critical issue that would require thorough investigation and reassurance from the current management.
The former manager also touches upon the issue of staffing and compensation, noting a significant reduction in their working hours while still being expected to handle numerous responsibilities. They also mention that "other staff members get many hours and they get to do as they please," suggesting potential inconsistencies and unfairness in the allocation of work and treatment of employees. While this primarily concerns the operational aspects of the park, it can indirectly impact the residents through the morale and effectiveness of the on-site staff.
Interestingly, the former manager states that the "lot rent does not bother me with the new increases," indicating that the cost of living in the park, at least for them, is not the primary issue. Instead, the major concerns revolve around the management's competence, the lack of adequate maintenance, and the apparent security problems within the community. This distinction is important for prospective residents to understand – while the cost might be acceptable, the quality of services and the living environment appear to be significant areas of concern.
Given the serious nature of the issues raised in these reviews, individuals searching for "RV parks near me" or a mobile home park in the Haines City area should exercise extreme caution when considering Minerva Mobile Home Park. The feedback suggests a community grappling with significant operational and management challenges that directly impact the residents' living experience and safety.
Prospective residents would need to seek substantial and verifiable assurances from the current management regarding the steps being taken to address the reported issues of inadequate maintenance, security concerns, and overall park upkeep. It would be prudent to inquire about specific maintenance protocols, security measures in place (or planned), and the management's responsiveness to resident concerns. Speaking with current residents (if possible) who are not affiliated with the management could provide further unbiased insights into the current living conditions within Minerva Mobile Home Park.
Due to the severity of the allegations, it is essential for the current ownership and management of Minerva Mobile Home Park to proactively address these concerns publicly and demonstrate a clear commitment to improving the living conditions and the overall management of the community. Transparency and tangible actions to rectify the reported problems would be necessary to rebuild trust and attract new residents.
At this time, based solely on the available online reviews, Minerva Mobile Home Park appears to be a community facing significant challenges that could negatively impact the living experience of its residents. While it may have potential, as the former manager suggests, the current reality seems to fall far short of being a "wonderful place to live." Therefore, prospective residents searching for "RV parks near me" or a mobile home park in Haines City should carefully weigh these concerns and conduct thorough due diligence before making any decisions regarding Minerva Mobile Home Park.
To obtain the most current information and the management's perspective on these issues, it is advisable to contact Minerva Mobile Home Park directly at (863) 204-8198 or +1 863-204-8198. However, given the nature of the feedback, it would be prudent to corroborate any information provided by management with independent sources, such as current residents, if possible.
In conclusion, while Minerva Mobile Home Park is located in Haines City, Florida, and offers a residential option, the available customer reviews raise serious concerns about the park's management, maintenance, and security. Prospective residents searching for "RV parks near me" or a mobile home community in the area should be fully aware of these issues and conduct thorough investigations before considering Minerva Mobile Home Park as a viable living option.

Minerva Mobile Home Park Reviews
Need a manager and maintenance people that complete projects on-site. Minerva MHP has the potential to be a wonderful place to live. I was a manager for 3 and 1/2 at Minerva MHP and Garden Gate MHP, and I resigned due to hours being reduced and written up from my regional director. I also live at Minerva MHP. I loved my job! But when head maintenance is the regional son, they get away with not completing projects. My Regional has control over where maintenance will be at for the day, and she assigns their task. So, if I had a maintenance issue, I had to fix it, or let her know, and don't call her after hours unless you want to get yelled at or written up. Hours went from 40 to 50 hours a week for 2 parks. Down to 25 hours a week for 2 parks, plus all of her reports daily. I was the sucker that did her dirty work. No one can make a living off of that pay. Currently, I want to be just a tenant and live in peace. Other staff members get many hours and they get to do as they please. The lot rent does not bother me with the new increases, but the park itself needs better people to make it look good instead of looking like the ghetto home place.

Apr 15, 2023 · Richard KeithleyNot as clean as they show on there opening page. Plus the people in the park that live there, I see alot of them don't have their own parking space. Alot of them are parked almost in the street. You have to be careful when you go down some of the streets so you don't hit someone's car.
