Minnehaha Trailer Park Introduce
While your search might begin with "RV parks near me," it's important to consider the broader spectrum of housing options available, including mobile home parks like Minnehaha Trailer Park in Clermont, Florida. Located at 660 Hooks St, Clermont, FL 34711, USA, Minnehaha Trailer Park is presented as a 55 and over community. It's essential to approach information about such parks with a discerning eye, especially when considering them as a potential long-term living situation.
Based on recent customer feedback, it appears there's a significant discrepancy between the online representation of Minnehaha Trailer Park and the on-site reality. One reviewer who traveled a considerable distance expressed strong disappointment, describing the park as an "absolute dump" and a "sardine can nightmare," contrary to what they perceived online. This suggests potential issues with the park's upkeep, layout, and overall condition. The reviewer also noted that the park signage did not align with the online portrayal, further contributing to their negative experience and feelings of deception.
Despite the negative feedback regarding the park's condition and online representation, the reviewer did acknowledge two positive aspects: the beauty of the lake and the appeal of the surrounding area. This suggests that the location of Minnehaha Trailer Park in Clermont might offer inherent advantages, such as access to natural beauty and the amenities of the wider Clermont region. Clermont is known for its rolling hills, scenic lakes, and proximity to Orlando's attractions, potentially making it a desirable area to live in.
Another review, while unsure about the quality of living within the park, noted that it "looks nice" from an external perspective. This observation contrasts sharply with the other review, highlighting the importance of on-site visits and thorough investigation before making any decisions. This second reviewer also mentioned contacting the park to inquire about rentals and being informed that nothing was currently available. They left their contact information to be notified if any vacancies arose, and it was confirmed that the park is a 55 and over community, indicating an age restriction for residency.
Considering these contrasting perspectives, it's challenging to provide a definitive overview of the environment, services, and features of Minnehaha Trailer Park based solely on this limited and conflicting information. The negative review paints a picture of a potentially overcrowded and poorly maintained park, despite any appealing online presence. The positive external observation and the mention of lake access offer a glimmer of potential, but without further objective information, it's impossible to ascertain the true living conditions.
Information regarding specific services and features typically found in mobile home parks is also absent from the provided reviews. Generally, such parks offer basic infrastructure like water, sewer, and electrical hookups for mobile homes. Some parks may provide additional amenities such as laundry facilities, community rooms, recreational areas (like swimming pools or shuffleboard courts), and on-site management. However, there is no indication of these services being available at Minnehaha Trailer Park in the provided text. The mention of lake access could be considered a feature, but its usability and integration within the park are unclear given the negative review.
Similarly, there is no promotional information available for Minnehaha Trailer Park in the provided text. Details regarding lot rental fees, any community activities, or special offers are not mentioned. For individuals interested in learning more about potential residency, contacting the park directly via phone at (352) 394-4497 or +1 352-394-4497 would be the next logical step. However, given the significant discrepancy highlighted in the reviews, a thorough on-site visit and inspection would be strongly recommended before committing to any long-term arrangements.
In conclusion, while Minnehaha Trailer Park is located in the potentially attractive Clermont, Florida area and offers access to a lake, recent customer reviews raise significant concerns about the park's condition and the accuracy of its online representation. The park caters to the 55 and over community, and rental availability appears limited based on one inquiry. For local users exploring housing options beyond traditional "RV parks near me," Minnehaha Trailer Park warrants careful consideration and thorough due diligence. Potential residents should be aware of the negative feedback regarding the park's upkeep and are strongly advised to conduct an in-person visit to assess the actual living conditions before making any decisions. The beauty of the surrounding area and lake access may be appealing, but the internal environment of the park appears to be a significant point of concern based on the available information.

Minnehaha Trailer Park Reviews
Deceptive. We drove all the way from Texas to check out the modular communities in the area. They make this park look so nice online, and it's an absolute dump. The sign is not even the same as what they show online. Don't get me wrong, the lake is beautiful, the area is great, but this modular park is a sardine can nightmare! And the way it's falsely alluded to is a travesty!
Jul 31, 2024 · Martha PiperDon't really know if it's a good place to live but looks nice. Called to see if there were rentals available but was told nothing available. Left my name and phone number to be called if something becomes available. It is for 55 and over.
