Missile View Mobile Home Park Introduce
For individuals exploring housing options in Titusville, Florida, and perhaps searching within the category of "RV parks near me" while considering longer-term mobile home living, Missile View Mobile Home Park, located at 2135 Mayfair Way, Titusville, FL 32796, USA, is one community that may appear in your search. They can be contacted at (321) 225-8176 or +1 321-225-8176 for inquiries. However, it is crucial to carefully examine the available resident feedback to form an objective understanding of this property.
The online reviews for Missile View Mobile Home Park present a starkly contrasting and largely negative portrayal of the community. One review, seemingly edited, initially mentions swimming in the owner's pool at night, which is described as "great," but expresses a desire for daytime swimming. It also notes that the owner will reportedly tell residents to get off their lawn during the day. This suggests a potential lack of shared amenities or clear guidelines regarding their use, as well as possible boundary issues between residents and the owner.
A subsequent review strongly cautions against believing any five-star ratings, labeling the park a "dump." This reviewer alleges that lot rent increases annually by $50 or more, with an additional $200 charge for double-wide mobile homes on top of the increase. They further claim that other parks in the area offer significantly more amenities for a slightly higher price, advising potential residents to "stay clear of this dumpster fire." This feedback raises serious concerns about the affordability and value proposition of Missile View Mobile Home Park compared to alternatives.
Another lengthy review from a resident of three years details a deeply negative experience with the management, whom they accuse of lying and being untrustworthy. This reviewer recounts an attempt to sell their property, which allegedly fell through due to the buyer being unable to afford the high rent and deposit quoted by the management. The resident implies that the management may have misrepresented these costs, leading to the failed sale and leaving the resident feeling stuck. They express an intention to stop paying rent and plan to move out. This review also advises potential buyers to seek information from "Golightly towers" rather than the management, suggesting a lack of transparency or trustworthiness on the part of the management, and even hints at potential financial impropriety ("tinkmay be trying to line her pockets"). Despite the negative experiences, the reviewer notes that the "People are nice," offering a small positive amidst the criticisms.
Based on these reviews, the environment at Missile View Mobile Home Park appears to be characterized by:
- Potentially Poor Management: Allegations of lying, untrustworthiness, and financial misrepresentation are significant concerns.
- Increasing Costs: Residents report consistent and substantial annual increases in lot rent, with additional charges for double-wide homes, potentially making it less affordable over time.
- Limited Amenities (implied): The comparison to other parks offering "way more amenities" for a similar or slightly higher price suggests that Missile View Mobile Home Park may lack common facilities or services. The mention of swimming in the owner's pool at night, but being told to stay off their lawn during the day, further indicates limited shared recreational spaces.
- Potential for Conflict with Owners/Management: The comment about being yelled at to get off the lawn suggests possible tension or strict boundaries between residents and the owner.
- A Sense of Community (mixed): While one long-term resident had overwhelmingly negative experiences with management, they did note that the "People are nice," suggesting a potential for positive neighborly interactions despite the issues with administration.
The services and features of Missile View Mobile Home Park are not explicitly detailed in the negative reviews. The absence of positive mentions of amenities typically found in mobile home parks, such as clubhouses, laundry facilities, recreational areas, or organized activities, might suggest their absence or inadequacy. The mention of a pool at the owner's house, with restricted access, does not indicate a standard community amenity.
Promotional information is entirely absent in the provided data. The strong negative feedback from residents effectively counteracts any potential positive portrayal of the park. Therefore, it is impossible to identify any promotional aspects based on this information.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me," it is important to recognize that Missile View Mobile Home Park appears to function as a long-term mobile home community rather than a short-term RV park. The issues raised by residents pertain to the experience of living in a mobile home park, including lot rent, management interactions, and the overall value proposition for long-term residents.
Given the serious allegations and negative experiences shared by residents, prospective residents who might still consider Missile View Mobile Home Park due to location or other factors are strongly advised to:
- Contact the park management directly at (321) 225-8176 or +1 321-225-8176: Inquire about current lot rent, any additional fees (especially for double-wide homes), the frequency and amount of rent increases, and the rules and regulations of the park.
- Thoroughly review any lease agreement: Pay close attention to all terms and conditions, including those related to rent, deposits, maintenance responsibilities, and move-out procedures.
- Inquire specifically about amenities: Ask what facilities and services are available to residents.
- Attempt to speak with current residents independently: Seek firsthand accounts of their experiences living in the park, away from management influence. Exercise caution when approaching residents and respect their privacy.
- Verify information regarding rent and deposit amounts: If considering purchasing a mobile home within the park, independently verify the actual lot rent and deposit requirements with multiple sources if possible, especially given the allegations of misrepresentation.
- Consider alternative mobile home parks or RV parks in the Titusville area: The negative reviews suggest that other options might offer better value and a more positive living experience.
In conclusion, the available resident feedback for Missile View Mobile Home Park in Titusville, FL, paints a concerning picture characterized by allegations of untrustworthy management, increasing costs, and potentially limited amenities. For local users searching for housing, including those who might be comparing "RV parks near me" with long-term mobile home options, it is crucial to approach Missile View Mobile Home Park with extreme caution. The strong negative experiences shared by residents should be carefully considered, and thorough independent investigation is essential before making any decisions about residing in this community. Potential residents should prioritize transparency, fair pricing, and a positive living environment when choosing a place to live.

Missile View Mobile Home Park Reviews
Edit: I go swimming in the pool of the owners house at night it is great but I wish we can during the day to get some sun on my cheeks. Owner will yell at you to get off their lawn during the day.Don’t believe these 5 star reviews! This place is a dump! Lot rent increasing every year by $50 or more! If you have a double wide it will be $200 on top of the increase. Other parks are a little more expensive for way more amenities. Stay clear of this dumpster fire…

May 14, 2024 · Marianne ChampagneMonika EdwardsYour review will be posted publicly on the web. Learn moreI have been living here for nearly 20 years. The first 16 of those were fine. I was perfectly happy in this community. It is quiet and previous owners of the park always attended occurring genuine complaints, concerning maintenance and safety issues in a timely and professional manner. But, about 4 years ago, when ownership changed, it all went down hill from there. Rent increased every year between $ 10.00 - 15.00 on the average. However, we are still one of the better parks in town. When it comes to maintenance, this is a joke, since only cosmetic improvements are addressed, such as planting shrubs outside the park entrance. When you have a legitimate complaint, such as street light outage, street flooding, and tree clearing issues, you will wait a long time for a response. Even if you all or e-mail, you will be ignored. This is totally frustrating to the residents here.Unfortunately, I do not have the means to move somewhere else, due to my very limited income. If you are rich or financially well established come and join us.If not, I would not recommend this community to make your new home.
Sep 04, 2018 · Monika EdwardsIt is a retirement mobile home Park. They are like all retirement places. Full of nosey old ppl. But they are nice. Their favorite past time is calling code enforcement on neighbors they deem "Too hip". They are lucky I changed my life. Or I would probably tell 1 of their senile butts to shoot me a fade!😂💪Just kidding.
