I have lived here for 38 years and I've been very happy. It is a lovely Mobile Home Park, looks and feels more like a little community. My good experience could be because I own my trailer and don't have deal with any of the rental issues that would come up with a landlord. Through the years alot of people have sold their homes and Mr Monroe buys them and rents them out. I have just been very blessed to get decent neighbors whenever they change. - Carol Dean

Monroe's Mobile Home Park Introduce

For local users in the Greensboro, North Carolina area searching under the category "RV Parks Near Me" for potential long-term living arrangements, Monroe's Mobile Home Park presents a community with a significant history. With one resident reporting having lived there for 38 years, it suggests a stable and established environment. However, the available customer reviews offer contrasting perspectives that potential residents should carefully consider when evaluating this mobile home park.

One long-term resident expresses overall satisfaction, describing Monroe's Mobile Home Park as a "lovely Mobile Home Park" that "looks and feels more like a little community." This positive sentiment highlights the potential for a close-knit and neighborly atmosphere within the park. The reviewer attributes their positive experience, in part, to owning their trailer and thus not having to deal with potential landlord-tenant rental issues. They also note that over the years, as residents have sold their homes, Mr. Monroe has purchased and rented them out, and the reviewer has been fortunate to have "decent neighbors" throughout these transitions.

In contrast, a more critical review raises significant concerns about the living conditions at Monroe's Mobile Home Park. This reviewer expresses confusion as to why the park might be rated highly, stating that the only positive aspect they found was that "it’s quiet." However, this positive is heavily outweighed by a serious concern: "this place is INFESTED with roaches." The reviewer recounts their experience upon moving in and informing the landlord, whose response was dismissive, labeling them as "just water bugs" that everyone has and residents simply need to "deal with them." The reviewer strongly disputes this, stating that it is "very obvious they are not water bugs" and that extensive efforts to eradicate them through spraying, traps, and roach killer gel have been unsuccessful. Alarmingly, they also mention having spoken with other residents who confirm that the infestation is widespread throughout the park ("I’ve asked everyone in the park and they have them too. The entire land is infested."). This is a significant issue that prospective residents would need to seriously consider.

Adding to the negative experience, the same reviewer also states that the landlord "didn’t fix any of the issues in the actual trailer." This suggests a potential lack of responsiveness to maintenance requests, which can significantly impact a resident's quality of life and the condition of their living space. These concerns about pest control and landlord responsiveness paint a considerably different picture than the positive experience of the long-term resident who owns their home.

Regarding the environment of Monroe's Mobile Home Park, the long-term resident describes it as "lovely" and having the "feel of a little community." This suggests a potentially pleasant aesthetic and a sense of belonging. However, the contrasting review does not offer any details about the physical environment beyond its quiet nature, focusing instead on the severe pest issue. Without further information or a broader range of reviews, it is difficult to form a comprehensive understanding of the park's overall environment, including landscaping, common areas, or the general upkeep of the grounds.

Information regarding the specific services and features offered at Monroe's Mobile Home Park is limited. The positive review mentions the sense of community and the landlord's practice of buying and renting out homes, implying a management presence. The negative review highlights a lack of responsiveness to maintenance requests. Essential utilities such as water, electricity, and sewage hookups are typically expected in a mobile home park to support long-term residency. However, the availability of additional amenities often found in RV parks or mobile home communities, such as laundry facilities, recreational areas, playgrounds, or organized activities, is not mentioned in either review. Prospective residents would need to inquire directly about the specific services and features provided.

No promotional information is available in the provided customer reviews. There are no mentions of special offers, lot rental rates (for those who own their mobile homes), rental costs for park-owned trailers, security deposits, or any incentives for new residents. Local users interested in the financial aspects of residing at Monroe's Mobile Home Park would need to contact the park management directly using the provided phone number to obtain information on current rates, availability of lots or rental units, and any associated fees or requirements for residency.

In conclusion, for local users in Greensboro, NC, exploring long-term living options under "RV Parks Near Me," Monroe's Mobile Home Park presents a community with a long history and a reputation for being quiet. One long-term resident who owns their home expresses overall happiness with the community feel and decent neighbors. However, a more recent review raises serious concerns about a significant roach infestation throughout the park and a lack of landlord responsiveness to maintenance issues. These contrasting experiences highlight the importance of thorough investigation for any prospective resident. Information regarding the park's specific environment, comprehensive services and features, and any promotional offers is limited to these anecdotal accounts. Potential residents are strongly advised to contact the park management directly, and perhaps even speak with current residents if possible, to gain a more complete and balanced understanding before making a decision about residing at Monroe's Mobile Home Park.
