Moon Valley Community Introduce
Are you searching for a mobile home community in the Sonoma, California area? Moon Valley Community, located at 1001 5th St W, Sonoma, CA 95476, USA, offers a residential setting for mobile home owners. While online searches for 'RV parks near me' might present various options for temporary stays, Moon Valley Community provides a more permanent living environment. It's important to consider the diverse perspectives shared by residents to gain a comprehensive understanding of this community.
Recent customer reviews of Moon Valley Community present a dichotomy of experiences. One reviewer, identifying as a family, expresses significant concerns and advises "Families BEWARE!" They describe the community as having "terrible outdated rules from when it was a 55 + community," suggesting that the transition from a senior community to one allowing families has not been entirely smooth. This reviewer alleges that "the children that live here are often mistreated by many of the residents who seem to wish it was still 55+." This raises serious concerns about the social environment for families with children residing in the community.
The same reviewer further elaborates on the challenges their family faces, stating, "My seven year old can't play outside without being too loud for someone. Normal play gets described as screaming and yelling! She cannot ride her bike without us receiving complaints." They also express frustration with attempts to "demonize this child," with accusations of reckless bike riding that the parent finds unfounded. This paints a picture of a potentially unwelcoming environment for families with young, active children, where normal childhood play may be met with negativity and complaints from some residents.
In contrast, another reviewer expresses a highly positive experience, stating, "My Boyfriend and I live in the Moon Valley community and couldn't be more happier with the location, amenities and peaceful vibes of the neighborhood." This suggests that for some residents, particularly perhaps those without young children, Moon Valley Community offers a desirable living situation with positive attributes. This reviewer acknowledges that "Management can be strict and rules are set in place that you must abide while living here," but they view these rules as "all necessary in order to have a lovely community." This perspective highlights a potential trade-off where strict rules may contribute to a peaceful environment for some but may be perceived as overly restrictive by others, especially families with children.
The positive reviewer also points out the financial benefits of living in Moon Valley Community, noting that "In a location where homes are priced at $600,000 or more- we felt that a mobile home was our best bet and we are so thankful to have found such a great community!" They conclude by describing Moon Valley as "Sonoma's best hidden gem," suggesting that it offers an affordable housing option in an otherwise expensive area, without compromising on location and amenities.
Considering these contrasting viewpoints, Moon Valley Community in Sonoma, CA, appears to be a community with a complex social dynamic. While some residents appreciate its location, amenities, and peaceful atmosphere, along with the affordability it offers in a high-cost area, families with children may face challenges due to rules and attitudes that seem to stem from its past as a 55+ community. Prospective residents should carefully weigh these different experiences based on their own household composition and lifestyle.

Moon Valley Community Reviews
Families BEWARE! Terrible outdated rules from when it was a 55 + community. The children that live here are often mistreated by many of the residents who seem to wish it was still 55+.Tread carefully it can be a shockingly unwelcome place for a family to reside! My seven year old can't play outside without being too loud for someone. Normal play gets described as screaming and yelling! She cannot ride her bike without us receiving complaints. They try and demonize this child saying she rides so recklessly they fear her! She hasn't even been riding a two wheeler long enough to be getting reckless, it is laughable to me if it weren't such hatred coming from our own "community" which makes it less funny.

Jan 22, 2020 · Amanda BarnettI must say that when Valley mobile home park has been my home for 11 years it's a beautiful Park and is very close to shopping and downtown Sonoma, the biggest problem with Moon Valley Mobile Home Park is its management team, just a general manager Terry Edgington, since his arrival to the mobile home park, mr. Terry Edgington has upturned people's lives through them out on the street and made-up rules regulations Etc at his own convenience oh, he has also harassed disrespected and humiliated several of the homeowners of the community, since his arrival at the mobile home park he has demeaned, under minded, and disrespected disabled such as I am, I came down on hard times recently and he just kicked me in the teeth I tried to work with him he says he tried to work with me but there was no working with me on his side, the rules and regulations are from the past when it was a 55 and older park now it's an all-ages Park and the same rules are still in effect for a 55 and older Park and not pertaining to an all-ages Park, I work as a handyman for a living and I live in the community as well he is kicking me out because I stood up for myself he was harassing me giving me a lot of havoc and I stood up to him and told him I didn't like it to get off my back and stop harassing me and 3 days later I had an eviction notice on my door this is not right it's not fair and it's not American, it has destroyed my life and I am going to be homeless after 52 years such a great feeling to know there's one person out there that can destroy your whole life and that is mr. Terry Edgington of Moon Valley Mobile Home Park
