One overwhelmingly positive reviewer expressed a desire to keep this location a secret due to its "AMAZING" qualities. They highlighted the "SO private" campsites, situated directly next to the Mulberry River and completely surrounded by nature. This emphasis on privacy and immersion in the natural environment is a significant draw for those seeking a peaceful escape. The reviewer was also deeply impressed by the owners' personal touch, recounting how they were met upon arrival on a quad bike and personally guided to find a campsite – a level of service they found exceptional. This personalized welcome, including a thoughtful birthday acknowledgment, underscores the owners' commitment to guest satisfaction.
Another reviewer echoed the sentiment of Mulberry River Outdoor Adventures being a "hidden gem," particularly appreciating its tucked-away location right by the river, despite its convenient access off the interstate. This offers the best of both worlds: ease of arrival and a sense of secluded natural beauty, especially compared to potentially busier sections of the Mulberry River area. A significant highlight for this guest was the presence of a "great swimming hole" during the summer months. Furthermore, the owners provided valuable local knowledge, suggesting upstream locations for enjoyable float trips back to the campsite, a highly recommended activity. The proximity to "great hiking trails right up the rd" adds another layer of appeal for outdoor enthusiasts. This reviewer, who stayed in an RV during a busy weekend, expressed excitement to return during a less crowded time to explore the tent site area. While noting the presence of a public toilet and shower (only one of each), they found this to be a minor inconvenience due to the courtesy and respect shown by other campers. This positive experience has ensured their return.
Based on these enthusiastic accounts, Mulberry River Outdoor Adventures offers a distinctive set of environmental features, services, and amenities:
- **Riverside Campsites:** The campsites are a primary draw, described as exceptionally private and located directly alongside the Mulberry River, offering immediate access to the water and immersive natural surroundings. The sound of the flowing river likely contributes to the peaceful ambiance.

The natural foliage and riverbanks likely provide a sense of enclosure and separation between campsites.

The positive reviews indicate that users are generally courteous and respectful of each other's time when using these facilities, suggesting a considerate community atmosphere among campers.
- **Pet-Friendly Environment:** While not explicitly stated, the positive experiences of being close to nature and the welcoming attitude of the owners suggest a potentially pet-friendly environment. The riverside location and nearby trails would likely be appealing for dog owners. It would be wise to confirm specific pet policies (e.g., leash rules, any restrictions) with the owners.
- **Tent and RV Camping:** The park accommodates both RVs and tents, catering to a range of camping preferences. The RV sites appear to be spacious enough to accommodate RVs, as one reviewer stayed in one during a busy weekend. Mulberry River Outdoor Adventures Reviews
I almost don't want to tell y'all about this place because it is so AMAZING! The campsites are SO private, right next to the River and surrounded with only you and Nature 🌱💚 The owners are so sweet and met us right when we got there on a Quad to take us to find a campsite. Who does that?!?! Thank you for a wonderful birthday and for remembering to say it when we arrived! Xo
Mar 27, 2025 · Heather WelchSuch a hidden gem and I hope it stays hidden as other parts of the Mulberry can be very busy. This campground is conveniently located off the interstate but is still tucked away right by the river. Great swimming hole in the summer and the owners even told us of some places upstream we could put in and float down to the camp site (highly suggest) also great hiking trails right up the rd. We came on a busy very weekend and stayed in an RV. So I’m excited to come back when it’s a lil less crowded and check on the tent site area. There is a public toilet and shower, it’s only one though so we did have to wait for our turn sometimes, this was no big deal though as everyone was Courtesy and respectful of others time. Will def be back!!
Apr 09, 2024 · Tori JohnsonWe highly recommend Mulberry River Outdoor Adventures! Ty, Rick and their Family helped to make our stay one of our favorite riding/camping trips yet! Ty had asked us what we were looking for in regards to a camping spot and he nailed it! We had the whole Peninsula to ourselves (River Front) with nobody around for about 50 yards. It was so peaceful and it felt like camping in nature with the river flowing allowing us to truly relax, not a concrete jungle like other places. Ty and Rick also helped with the trails so we can go out and on Saturday, they were awesome enough to take us on a 6-hour ride showing us around, it was Epic! They truly love what they do here and really care about their visitors, you will not find better hosts! Thank you guys for a wonderful trip, we will be back!Did I mention they have a Kangaroo!? They do!
Nov 28, 2023 · Brandon SimkissAwesome place to ride from and all around. Very helpful owners taking the time to map out rides for us. So glad we decided to stop here. We had an amazing week riding and so much privacy on the trails. Beautiful creeks to cool off it. Thank you!
Jul 06, 2024 · Lindsay WagnerMy wife and I stayed here with our two dogs in one of the tent sites and it was incredible. Got a spot right on the river and we had the best time. Owner was so nice. Will definitely be back
