Crabtree RV Park Introduce
For those traveling through Alma, Arkansas, and searching for ‘RV parks near me’ that offer convenience and essential services, Crabtree RV Park, located at 405 Heather Ln, Alma, AR 72921, USA, presents a practical option. Based on customer reviews, Crabtree RV Park stands out for its exceptional RV service department, a welcoming camp host, and its strategic location. You can reach them at (479) 632-0829 or +1 479-632-0829 for inquiries or assistance.
The environment at Crabtree RV Park is described as primarily geared towards campers passing through or needing a stopover for the night, rather than those seeking a glamorous resort-style experience with extensive amenities. However, for its intended purpose, it is considered a “great place.” One of the notable environmental features is the presence of a “great little swimming pool,” which can be a significant plus for travelers, especially during warmer months, offering a refreshing break from the road. The park's location right next door to a Cracker Barrel is also a significant convenience, providing easy access to meals without having to travel far. While the reviews do not extensively detail the landscaping or specific layout of the park, the focus is on its functionality and key offerings for travelers.
The services and features of Crabtree RV Park, as highlighted by customer experiences, include:
- An exceptional RV service department. One reviewer shared a remarkable experience of having a slide-out issue resolved with incredible speed and efficiency by a service technician named Larry. This suggests that Crabtree RV Park not only provides parking but also offers valuable on-site RV repair services, which can be a significant asset for travelers facing unexpected mechanical problems. The technician even provided guidance on how to address potential future issues.
- A “great little swimming pool,” as mentioned earlier, offering a recreational amenity for guests to enjoy.
- RV sales and service, indicating that beyond repairs, the park may also deal with the sale of recreational vehicles. This could be relevant for those looking to purchase an RV in the area.
- Clean bathroom and shower facilities. While not luxurious, cleanliness is a crucial aspect for any campground, and Crabtree RV Park seems to meet this basic need.
- Coffee available in the lobby, providing a small but appreciated amenity for travelers, especially those on early departures.
- A super friendly and helpful Camp Host named Jay. The positive feedback about Jay is consistent, with reviewers noting his dedication to taking care of the needs of the park and its guests. A welcoming and helpful host can significantly enhance the overall experience of a short stay.
The primary focus of Crabtree RV Park appears to be on providing essential services and a convenient location for those on the move. The absence of a mention of extensive amenities like clubhouses, fitness centers, or organized activities suggests that its appeal lies in its practicality and the quality of its core offerings, particularly the RV service and the welcoming atmosphere created by the camp host.
Currently, there is no specific promotional information mentioned in the provided reviews. The value proposition seems to be centered around the convenience of the location (next to Cracker Barrel), the availability of RV service, and the friendly service provided, rather than discounted rates or special packages. For any potential promotions, seasonal rates, or loyalty programs, it would be best to contact Crabtree RV Park directly. Given its focus on overnight stays and travelers passing through, their pricing structure is likely tailored to these needs, and any discounts for longer stays or specific groups should be inquired about.
In conclusion, if you are searching for ‘RV parks near me’ in Alma, Arkansas, particularly if you are looking for a convenient overnight stop with the added benefit of an excellent RV service department, Crabtree RV Park is a strong contender. Its location right next to a Cracker Barrel offers easy dining options, and the presence of a swimming pool provides a welcome opportunity to relax. The consistently positive reviews regarding the friendly and helpful camp host, Jay, further contribute to a positive experience. While it may not be a destination RV resort with all the bells and whistles, Crabtree RV Park excels in providing essential services and a welcoming atmosphere for travelers. For those who might encounter RV issues on their journey, the availability of a reliable service department is a significant advantage. Contact Crabtree RV Park at (479) 632-0829 or +1 479-632-0829 for more information or to plan your stopover.

Crabtree RV Park Reviews
We had an AWESOME experience at the service department! We are full time RV'ers and have not had any major problems with our RV, except for today! Slide out would not work when we checked into a nearby campground. We called Crabtree and they said to bring it by and they might possible get to it this afternoon or tomorrow morning. We arrived at 3 pm and by 3:18 pm we were fixed and ready to roll! Larry, our service tech was awesome! The slide was bound up and he showed me how to unbind it if it happend again.
Nov 07, 2024 · NoFixed AddressRVIf you're looking for glamorous with all the amenities, this is not the place for you. This campground is built for campers passing through and just swinging in for a night. And for that purpose, this is a great place. They have a great little swimming pool, RV sales and service, and Cracker Barrel is right next door. The bathrooms and showers were clean, coffee in the lobby, and the best part was Jay the Camp Host! Super friendly, super helpful, and always busy taking care of all the needs of the park and its guests.

Mar 21, 2025 · Sandra SmithBasic but serviceable. No amenities open, looks like they have a pool during the summer.
