This positive feedback extends beyond just RVers, indicating that the park also offers high-quality cabin rentals for those who prefer a more traditional lodging option while still enjoying the campground environment.
The same reviewer was so impressed that they have already recommended the area to friends, a strong testament to the positive experience they had. They specifically lauded the campground for being "amazing" with a wide array of "activities for kids to do," a feature they noted was unique compared to other campgrounds they have visited. This makes Northern Kentucky RV Park an exceptionally attractive option for families traveling with children, promising entertainment and engagement for younger guests. Northern Kentucky RV Park Reviews
We had a wonderful time. The cabin was perfect for us as it was a short trip. The cabin was clean and had all the amenities with extras in the kitchen. I have already referred friends to the area. The campground was amazing with all the activities for kids to do. First one that we have been to that had that. The Easter festivities were a definite bonus. The staff was so kind and helpful..100% recommend
Apr 24, 2025 · Amy GarnerGreat RV park. Everyone is very friendly, everything is in great working order and well maintained. Nice play ground for the kids and a dog park. We had a very nice stay there. There is a rail road across the street that frequents trains throughout the night. It’s not the locations fault but it is something to make note of. We did not mind the train.
Apr 01, 2025 · ANWe stayed for one night. The office staff is very pleasant and customer focused. Prices feel way too premium for what you get. The park itself is small and older, that's not bad when well maintained. Full tree leaf out was still a couple weeks away, but they seem to have a mix of full sky sites and canopy/shade. Trees seem well managed and no looming dead ones. I dislike parks that leave dead trees to disingrate over our roof. Our site was unlevel and even with our levelers I couldn't quite get there. There is a nice playground behind the office. Restrooms were rough, more a commentary on the campers than the campground. Nothing a little portion control and a green salad wouldn't fix. I don't think they would treat their own campers with this much disrespect. The campsite layout is the one I prefer the least. Sites are narrow. So the neighbors picnic table is 3 feet from your slide-out. Fire pit is way too close for comfort. Yes, and the sewer connections are right there by the tables. Just never a fan of such tight sites. While not cost effective, eliminating a few sites would really improve things. Fine for a stopover, but I wouldn't book a week. There is the train noise everyone mentions and the highway...just what it is. If they could get it as a quiet zone for the train the horn noise would at least go away. Can't comment on the location too much, it was close to the highway and gas station is convenient. It's a nice little park with a few challenges. Felt safe too.
Apr 16, 2025 · Bruce WhellerTerrible experience:It was difficult to locate our space in the dark. The sewer connection was uphill from my outlet, and the noise from passing trains kept us awake all night. As a result, we were unable to enjoy our visits to local attractions. This park should close down, as there’s no way anyone can rest here. They will likely respond that they are addressing the issues, but they will never be able to eliminate the train noise!
Dec 01, 2024 · Clarence DuncanWe stayed at Northern KY RV Park for 1 month in November, and overall, it was a great experience! Naomi in the office was absolutely wonderful—friendly and VERY helpful throughout our stay. The park itself is very pretty, and the staff worked tirelessly to keep the grounds clean, especially after the heavy fall leaf drop. The laundry facilities were excellent—clean and modern, with the option to use a card swipe or the "Clean Cash" app, which even lets you check machine availability from the comfort of your RV. Package delivery was seamless, with no issues receiving items from Amazon, USPS, UPS, or FedEx.A few things to note: some spaces are a bit small, and parking isn’t always directly at your site, but there IS parking available. The main reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the noise—being close to I-75 and the train tracks means some disruption, especially at night. However, this has nothing to do with the fantastic staff or the warm welcome they provide. All in all, I’d recommend Northern KY RV Park and would stay here again!
