Ozarks Mountain Springs R.V. Park & Cabins Introduce
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in the Mountain View, Missouri area, Ozarks Mountain Springs R.V. Park & Cabins, located at 5475 US-60, Mountain View, MO 65548, USA, presents itself as a potential option. This park offers both RV sites and cabin rentals, catering to a range of accommodation preferences for travelers exploring the Ozark Mountains region. Based on recent customer feedback available online, here's a detailed overview of the park's environment, services, and features to help local users make an informed decision.
Ozarks Mountain Springs R.V. Park & Cabins is situated along US-60, which offers accessibility but, as noted by one reviewer, also means potential highway noise. The environment of the park seems to offer a blend of natural features and convenient amenities. One visitor described the sites as "nice big sites with trees," suggesting a degree of shade and a more natural, campground-like feel. This could be appealing to those seeking a less stark and more scenic RV park experience. The park is also mentioned as being "clean," which is a significant factor for many travelers when choosing a place to stay.
In terms of services and amenities, Ozarks Mountain Springs R.V. Park & Cabins appears to offer a range of facilities to enhance the guest experience. One positive review highlights a "nice lounge area" equipped with various recreational and practical features. These include a foosball table for entertainment, washers and dryers for laundry needs, and a library, suggesting a comfortable space for relaxation and convenience. The park is also explicitly mentioned as being "pet friendly," which is a crucial consideration for travelers with animals.
However, alongside these positive aspects, some reviews raise important considerations for potential guests. One reviewer noted that while "the one lady that helps with the office is great," they had a less positive impression of the "guys or men running the place," describing them as "odd" and not very communicative. This suggests a potential inconsistency in guest interaction depending on the staff member encountered.
A more significant concern raised in one review involves the accessibility of the shower and full bathroom facilities. The reviewer states that these rooms are "locked on the outside most of the time," which could be inconvenient for guests needing to use them. Furthermore, this reviewer alleges that raising concerns about this issue was met with dismissiveness, with the staff acting "as if you are to dumb to operate them." This suggests potential issues with customer service and responsiveness to guest needs regarding essential facilities.
Another notable concern involves the presence of "big dogs," reportedly "4 or 5 of them that run around at night." The reviewer advises caution to those needing to use the restroom at night due to these free-roaming animals. Additionally, it is mentioned that "a few of the FULL TIME RESIDENTS will not control they animals," posing a potential risk, particularly for guests with small pets. This raises concerns about pet management within the park and the potential for negative interactions between animals and guests.
Finally, the location of the park directly off US-60, while providing accessibility, is also cited as a drawback by one reviewer who states, "the highway run right out front of the place so forget about quite time to sleep." This suggests that noise from passing traffic could be a significant issue, particularly for light sleepers or those seeking a tranquil environment.
Despite these concerns, one visitor who stopped by to use the RV dump station was appreciative of the gentleman who allowed them to do so for a small fee. This interaction led them to look around the park, noting the "nice big sites with trees" and the overall cleanliness. They also highlighted the "campgrd feel" and the amenities in the lounge area, expressing a positive impression and a likelihood of staying there on future trips. This suggests that for some, the positive aspects of the park, such as the site environment and amenities, may outweigh the potential drawbacks.
Ozarks Mountain Springs R.V. Park & Cabins offers a combination of RV sites and cabin rentals, providing flexibility for different types of travelers. The availability of cabins is mentioned in the park's name but not detailed in the provided reviews. These cabins could offer an alternative to RV stays, potentially providing more traditional lodging with varying amenities. Local users interested in cabin rentals would need to contact the park directly for more information on availability, pricing, and features.
Promotional information is not explicitly mentioned in the provided reviews. To learn about any current specials, discounts, or long-term stay options for either RV sites or cabins, local users should contact the park directly using the provided phone numbers: (417) 247-6232 or +1 417-247-6232. Direct communication will also allow potential guests to inquire about the park's policies regarding pets, bathroom access, noise levels, and any other concerns raised in the reviews.
In summary, Ozarks Mountain Springs R.V. Park & Cabins offers a location with potentially nice, shaded sites and a lounge area with useful amenities like laundry and a library. It is also pet-friendly. However, potential guests should be aware of concerns raised in reviews regarding the management's demeanor, limited accessibility to bathroom facilities, the presence of free-roaming dogs, and noise from the adjacent highway. The positive experience of one visitor suggests that these drawbacks may not affect everyone equally, or that the positive aspects of the park are compelling for some. Local users considering a stay at Ozarks Mountain Springs R.V. Park & Cabins should weigh these points carefully and consider contacting the park directly for clarification and the most up-to-date information.
Given the mixed feedback, it is recommended that local users who are particularly sensitive to noise, require frequent and reliable access to restrooms, or have concerns about pet safety and management should inquire specifically about these aspects when contacting the park. Understanding the current policies and the management's response to these concerns will be crucial in making an informed decision about whether Ozarks Mountain Springs R.V. Park & Cabins is the right choice for their needs when searching for "RV parks near me" or cabin rentals in the Mountain View, MO area.

Ozarks Mountain Springs R.V. Park & Cabins Reviews
We stopped by to dump our RV from a trip to OK/MO from VA. The gentlemen was kind enough to allow us to for a small fee. While there we looked around..Nice big sites with trees and a campgrd feel. Clean. A nice lounge area with fooaball, washers and dryers, library etc! Pet friendly. Such a cute place. Will definitely stay on our way through again.
Oct 30, 2024 · Rokn RobnThe one lady that helps with the office is great. But that is the good news. The guys or men running the place are odd. They ride around on a golf cart and talk very little. The shower and full bath rooms are locked on the outside most of the time, but be careful about saying anything about that because they will just act as if you are to dumb to operate them. there is big dogs 4 or 5 of them that run around at night. So be careful if you go to the restroom at night. A few of the FULL TIME RESIDENTS will not control they animals. So if you have small animals be careful. The highway run right out front of the place so forget about quite time to sleep.
Oct 13, 2024 · Music AnalystThe campground was so convenient right there on highway 60. John has been awesome to work with since our dates of arrival changed a couple of time and always assured me of a site for us. Upon arrival he check in was fun and easy. John is a very nice and accommodating owner. He escorted us to our site and it was a great camp site even though we was only there one night. The laundry was super reasonable and very clean! We would definitely stay with John again!!
Mar 14, 2024 · wilma boothLet me just say what nobody else is willing what a dump do not leave your campsite unattended or people will come in and do as they please this place has been turned into a mobile home site for RVs people with good character veterans families are not wanted and treated with contempt may God be with you if you wind up here
Oct 14, 2024 · Sonic The hedgehogWe have now stayed several times at Ozarks Mountain Springs & I will tell you, this place is amazing!!!Let's start with Mr. John, the owner. He is so kind, helpful, knowledgeable, funny & a true treasure to this world! My family has been full time RV-ers for quite some time, and we have stayed in parks all over the country in the last few years, but never have we had the pleasure of staying at a park quite like Ozarks Mountain Springs! The property is super well maintained and beautiful!RV spaces are huge and you are surrounded by nature! The cabins are super nice and they provide everything but the food! The shower was awesome & it was fantastic to stretch out from the RV for a bit, but still have it plugged in right outside ☺️The proximity to rivers, lakes or anything outdoors you want to do is also supreme!Seriously, do yourself a favor, pack up the camper, and go have a wonderful time unplugging and enjoying the beauty of the area at Ozarks Mountain Springs RV Park and Cabins
