Paradise Cove Resort & RV Park Introduce
If you are searching for “RV parks near me” in the Castle Rock, Washington area, Paradise Cove Resort & RV Park, located at 112 Burma Rd, Castle Rock, WA 98611, is one option that may appear in your search results. They can be contacted at (360) 274-6785 or +1 360-274-6785. However, recent customer reviews paint a concerning picture of the park, indicating several significant issues that prospective visitors should be aware of before making a reservation.
The environment of Paradise Cove Resort & RV Park is described negatively by recent visitors. One reviewer stated that the “campground showed signs of neglect,” immediately setting a tone of disappointment upon arrival. This suggests that the initial impression of the park might not align with the expectation of a relaxing getaway. Another reviewer echoed this sentiment, describing the park as “rundown.” These descriptions indicate a potential lack of attention to the overall appearance and upkeep of the grounds, which can significantly impact the quality of stay for RV travelers seeking a pleasant environment among “RV parks near me.”
Regarding services and amenities, a major disappointment reported by a recent guest was the unavailability of the pool. The review explicitly mentioned that “the pool was out of order throughout our entire stay.” This is a significant drawback, especially for those traveling during warmer months or with families who look forward to recreational activities like swimming. The fact that the pool was unusable for the entire duration of one guest’s stay raises concerns about the reliability and maintenance of advertised amenities at Paradise Cove Resort & RV Park.
Furthermore, the maintenance of the general facilities appears to be subpar. One reviewer noted that “the overall maintenance of the grounds seemed lacking” and specifically pointed out that “the bathrooms were not adequately cleaned, and amenities appeared dated and worn-out.” Poorly maintained bathrooms are a significant concern for hygiene and comfort in any campground or RV park. The description of amenities as “dated and worn-out” further contributes to the impression of a neglected facility, which may not meet the standards expected by those searching for well-maintained “RV parks near me.”
Location-wise, Paradise Cove Resort & RV Park does have a potential advantage. One reviewer mentioned that “the location was conveniently close to local attractions, which was a saving grace.” Proximity to local points of interest can be a significant draw for travelers looking to explore the surrounding area. However, this positive aspect seems to be overshadowed by the negative conditions within the park itself. Another reviewer provided a less favorable perspective on the location, stating that it is “next to the freeway and the truck stop.” This proximity to major transportation routes could result in significant noise pollution, detracting from the peace and quiet often sought at RV parks. The reviewer also noted that the park is “at the end of a turn a round,” which might present logistical challenges for maneuvering larger RVs.
A particularly concerning issue raised in one of the reviews pertains to the park’s infrastructure and the management’s response to maintenance needs. The reviewer described the “back fence” as “not up and falling down,” indicating a potential safety or security concern. They further stated that “the owner will not fix the fence even though it has been asked lots of times,” and mentioned a conversation with a neighboring property owner who corroborated this, claiming the owner has been promising to fix the fence for over seven years. This prolonged neglect of a significant structural issue raises serious questions about the management’s commitment to maintaining the property and addressing resident concerns. Such long-standing unresolved maintenance problems are a significant red flag for anyone considering Paradise Cove Resort & RV Park among other “RV parks near me.”
The overall sentiment from the reviews is overwhelmingly negative. One reviewer summarized their experience as “Not the best” and explicitly stated that the park is “Really run down.” This lack of positive feedback and the specific issues raised regarding maintenance, amenities (specifically the unusable pool), and the potentially noisy location adjacent to a freeway and truck stop should give prospective visitors pause. The apparent lack of investment in upkeep and the reported unresponsiveness to maintenance requests are serious drawbacks.
There is no promotional information available in the provided reviews. Given the negative feedback regarding the park's condition and management, it would be prudent for anyone still considering Paradise Cove Resort & RV Park to contact them directly at the provided phone numbers to inquire about the current status of the reported issues, such as the pool and the fence. Asking about recent improvements or maintenance efforts would also be advisable. However, based solely on the recent reviews, there are significant concerns that need to be addressed before this park could be recommended as a desirable option among “RV parks near me” in the Castle Rock area.
In conclusion, while Paradise Cove Resort & RV Park is located in Castle Rock, WA, and falls under the category of “RV parks near me,” recent customer feedback indicates a number of serious issues. These include a neglected environment, a non-operational pool, poorly maintained bathrooms and dated amenities, a potentially noisy location near a freeway and truck stop, and a concerning lack of attention to necessary repairs like a dilapidated fence. Prospective RVers should carefully weigh these negative reports against the convenience of the location to local attractions. Based on the available information, significant improvements appear to be needed for Paradise Cove Resort & RV Park to live up to its name and provide a satisfactory experience for its guests. It is strongly recommended to seek alternative “RV parks near me” with more positive and recent reviews.

Paradise Cove Resort & RV Park Reviews
Paradise Cove RV camping site left much to be desired during our recent stay. The concept of a relaxing getaway was quickly diminished upon arrival. The campground showed signs of neglect. The promise of a pool added to our anticipation, but unfortunately, it was out of order throughout our entire stay. This was a significant disappointment, especially for families with children who were looking forward to swimming. Moreover, the overall maintenance of the grounds seemed lacking. The bathrooms were not adequately cleaned, and amenities appeared dated and worn-out. It felt like the management had overlooked basic upkeep. On a positive note, the location was conveniently close to local attractions, which was a saving grace. However, without the advertised pool and with subpar facilities, Paradise Cove did not live up to its name or our expectations.
Jul 16, 2024 · Joseph GaudioNot the best. Next to the freeway and the truck stop. At the end of a turn a round. Rundown. The back fence is not up.and falling down. The owner will not fix the fence even though it has been asked lots of times. Talked with the property owner who was trying to fix the back fence boarding their property, they says the owner has been promising to fix it for over 7 years. Really run down.
Dec 30, 2023 · Kym GensmanIt is a nice park, but starting to get a little cramped. Our 38 ft forrest River doesn't even belong in the spot it is currently in. We have been promised a bigger spot for 2 years now, but it looks like that is never going to happen, because managers keep changing. We have always paid our rent on time and done everything ask of us, and it is very hurtful to know that doesn't even matter. We need a spot that accommodates our size. I don't want to leave, but it looks like the new owners have turned against us and keep giving the the bigger spots to newcomers. If we were in a spot that we actually fit in, then our spot would open up to fit an appropriate size and allow more room on both sides. I hope everything eventually will work itself out.
Jul 03, 2022 · Nancy AndrewsVery nice lady in the office but very sketchy people living there. I did not feel good about leaving anything outside for fear of it being stolen. A lot of noise at night and all hours of the early morning hours. Someone said they were trying to drive a tenant that they did not like out of the park. I would not recommend this place at all. There is a much nicer place across the freeway that cost a little bit more but well worth it.
Feb 25, 2016 · Jimmy JonesThis is more of a permanent residence park. Lots of full timers. If you are looking for a newer place, this place is not for you. These people are down to earth and love living simple. If you want fancy, then you might want to try somewhere else cause we don't have fancy. We have down to earth, easy camper living dwellers here that do not want to be judged. We are happy and friendly and welcoming. We sometimes have a full time spot come available but most of the time we have overnighter or weekend or temporary spots, and only a couple of those. We are like one big family and we like it that way...everyone knows everybody and we all look out for each other.
