Cedar's RV Park Introduce
Cedar's RV Park is located at 115 Beauvais Rd, Kelso, WA 98626, USA. For local users searching for 'RV parks near me', Cedar's RV Park is an option to consider. However, the available customer reviews raise several significant concerns that potential visitors and residents should be aware of before making any decisions.
One reviewer who attempted to secure an emergency overnight spot reported considerable difficulty in contacting the park. They stated that "No one available on site or phone" and that the "answering services were full on the phone so couldn't leave a message." This lack of accessibility and responsiveness could be a major inconvenience for travelers seeking immediate accommodation or assistance.
Upon physically visiting the park, this reviewer noted "very tight quarters" that would have posed a problem for navigating a Class A motorhome. This suggests that Cedar's RV Park may not be well-suited for larger RVs and could present challenges for maneuvering even for smaller vehicles. Additionally, the reviewer observed that "Most trailers look like they have been there a very, very long time (run down and unkept)," raising concerns about the overall maintenance and aesthetic of the park. The growth of "big around them" cedar trees around some trailers further suggested a lack of upkeep and potential immobility of these long-term units.
Based on these observations, the first reviewer concluded that they would be "hard pressed to find a reason to stay here on any traveling." This strongly negative assessment highlights significant issues related to accessibility, site suitability for larger RVs, and the general condition of the park.
Another reviewer, who appears to have been a long-term resident, raises even more serious allegations regarding the park's management and financial practices. They claim that the "Manager and landlord have very poor bookkeeping" and warn that if residents "don't pay attention to your receipts they will try to say you owe them more and come up the reasons." This suggests a potential for billing discrepancies and a lack of transparency in financial transactions.
This reviewer further states that they are moving but are currently "hooked up with another unit another space and are overcharging me on my electric which is illegal." This is a very serious accusation, indicating potential unethical and unlawful billing practices. The overall sentiment of this review is extremely negative, with the resident describing Cedar's RV Park as a "Very very bad place to live."
Finally, the first reviewer also noted a concern regarding pet management, stating, "They take their pets across the street and don't clean up behind them." This indicates a lack of consideration for public spaces and potential health and safety issues related to irresponsible pet ownership within or associated with the park.
Considering these two customer reviews, Cedar's RV Park appears to have significant shortcomings in several key areas. The lack of on-site or phone availability, tight quarters unsuitable for larger RVs, the run-down condition of many long-term trailers, allegations of poor bookkeeping and illegal overcharging on utilities, and issues with pet waste management all paint a concerning picture for potential visitors and residents.
Given this overwhelmingly negative feedback, it is challenging to identify any positive features or services that would typically be expected of an RV park. However, for the sake of a comprehensive overview, standard RV parks generally offer:
- RV Sites: Spaces for parking recreational vehicles, typically with varying hookups for water, electricity, and sewage. The first review suggests that these sites may be tightly spaced and potentially difficult to access for larger RVs.
- Basic Amenities: These can include restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities. The reviews do not provide any information about the availability or condition of these amenities at Cedar's RV Park.
- Waste Disposal: Facilities for disposing of trash and sewage. The pet waste issue mentioned in the first review suggests potential problems with overall cleanliness and waste management.
Any additional services or features, such as Wi-Fi, recreational areas, or on-site management assistance, are not mentioned in the provided reviews and cannot be assumed to be available or of satisfactory quality given the negative feedback received.
In terms of promotional information, the available reviews offer no basis for recommending Cedar's RV Park. In fact, they serve as strong warnings against staying or living at this location under the current circumstances. The issues raised are significant and impact fundamental aspects of safety, comfort, and financial integrity.
For local users searching 'RV parks near me', Cedar's RV Park is an option that has received very negative feedback regarding accessibility, site conditions, and management practices. Potential visitors and residents should weigh these concerns heavily against any potential convenience of the location in Kelso, WA.
Due to the serious nature of the allegations, any potential promotional claims made by the park would need to be independently verified and carefully scrutinized. The firsthand accounts from individuals who have attempted to use or reside at Cedar's RV Park paint a picture that is far from appealing.
Therefore, for anyone considering Cedar's RV Park, the following steps are absolutely essential:
- Attempt to contact the management directly to inquire about the issues raised in the reviews and to get their perspective. However, the initial difficulty in contacting the park reported by one reviewer should be noted.
- Visit the property in person to assess the conditions of the RV sites, the overall maintenance of the park, and the accessibility for your specific type of RV. Pay close attention to the spacing between sites and the condition of any long-term units.
- If considering a longer stay, request detailed information about billing practices for utilities and lot fees. Ask for a clear explanation of how charges are calculated and ensure that you receive and retain all receipts.
- If possible and safe to do so, attempt to speak with current residents to get their firsthand experiences with the management and the living conditions. Be aware that those with negative experiences may be hesitant to speak openly.
- Carefully consider the implications of the negative reviews regarding bookkeeping, potential overcharging, and the overall management of the park before making any commitment.
In conclusion, the available information regarding Cedar's RV Park in Kelso, WA, presents a deeply concerning picture. The reviews highlight significant issues related to accessibility, site conditions, management practices, financial integrity, and pet waste. Potential visitors and residents are strongly advised to exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough due diligence before considering Cedar's RV Park. The negative feedback is substantial and should not be ignored. Unless there is compelling evidence of significant improvements in management and park conditions, Cedar's RV Park cannot be recommended based on the currently available customer reviews.

Cedar's RV Park Reviews
Needed an emergency spot for the night and tried to get in here. No one available on site or phone. Answering services were full on the phone so couldn't leave a message. Drove our tow through to at least check it out. Very tight quarters that would have been an issue with our class A motorhome to have driven through. Most trailers look like they have been there a very, very long time (run down and unkept) and I wondered if some could even be moved as cedar trees were growing big around them. I would be hard pressed to find a reason to stay here on any traveling. They take their pets across the street and don't clean up behind them.
