If so, Parkside Village, located at 4925 Genesee St, Cheektowaga, NY 14225, USA, presents itself as a residential option to consider. It's important to note that while categorized under 'rv parks near me' on some platforms, Parkside Village functions as a mobile home park, offering a different lifestyle and set of amenities compared to a typical recreational vehicle park catering to short-term stays. For inquiries, you can reach them at (716) 681-2970 or their mobile number, +1 716-681-2970. Contact them directly to understand the availability and specifics of residency.
Based on the limited reviews available, the experiences of residents at Parkside Village appear to be varied and contrasting. One long-term resident, having lived there since 2017, expresses a highly positive view, describing the community as 'peaceful' with 'friendly people' and a strong sense of safety. They also note the quiet neighborhood atmosphere and share positive feedback from new neighbors who reportedly 'love it' at Parkside Village. This perspective paints a picture of a welcoming and pleasant residential environment for some.
However, another reviewer presents a significantly different and concerning perspective. This individual describes the park as a 'terrible place to live' and raises serious allegations regarding the behavior of some residents. These allegations include claims of racism, specifically mentioning the open display of confederate flags and an incident where a delivery driver of African American descent allegedly faced racist comments. The reviewer expresses feelings of discomfort and shame due to these reported incidents. It is crucial for potential residents to be aware of these serious allegations.
Furthermore, the second reviewer raises concerns about the cost of lots, describing them as 'expensive and overpriced.' They also allege instances of trespassing, illegal dumping on property, and invasions of privacy, including a disturbing claim of someone looking through a window at 1:00 in the morning and instances of individuals following people, creating a feeling akin to stalking. These are serious accusations that, if accurate, would significantly impact the quality of life and safety within the community. The reviewer explicitly states their intention to leave the park soon due to these negative experiences.
Given these starkly contrasting reviews, it is challenging to provide a definitive objective introduction to the environment, services, and features of Parkside Village without further information or a broader range of perspectives. The positive review suggests a potentially peaceful and friendly community for some residents, while the negative review paints a picture of significant social and safety issues. It is essential for any potential resident to conduct thorough due diligence and seek additional information beyond these two reviews.
In terms of environment, Cheektowaga, NY, is a suburb of Buffalo, offering a mix of residential and commercial areas. The specific environment within Parkside Village would depend on its layout, landscaping, and the proximity of homes to each other. The positive review's mention of a 'quiet neighborhood' suggests that at least some parts of the park may offer a peaceful setting. However, the negative review's allegations of trespassing and privacy invasion raise concerns about the actual lived environment for some residents.
Information regarding specific services and features of Parkside Village is not detailed in the provided reviews. Typically, mobile home parks offer basic infrastructure such as water, sewer, and electrical hookups for individual mobile homes. There may also be communal amenities such as paved roads, street lighting, and possibly garbage and recycling services. Some mobile home parks offer additional features like laundry facilities, community centers, or recreational areas, but these are not mentioned in the available reviews for Parkside Village. Potential residents should inquire directly about the specific services and features offered.
There is no promotional information available in the provided data. Therefore, any perceived 'promotion' would solely stem from the positive sentiments expressed in the single positive review, which highlights peace, friendliness, and safety. However, this must be balanced against the serious allegations raised in the negative review.
For local users considering Parkside Village based on its listing within the 'rv parks near me' category (assuming they are seeking long-term mobile home residency rather than short-term RV stays), it is strongly recommended to visit the location, speak with current residents (if possible), and inquire extensively about the community's rules, regulations, fees, and safety measures. It would also be prudent to check for any official reports or records related to the allegations made in the negative review.
In conclusion, Parkside Village in Cheektowaga, NY, appears to be a mobile home park with a potentially mixed living experience based on the limited reviews available. While one resident reports a peaceful and friendly environment, another describes serious issues related to racism, safety, and property rights. Without further objective information, it is impossible to provide a comprehensive and balanced introduction. Local users interested in this mobile home park should exercise caution, conduct thorough research, and seek multiple perspectives before making any decisions about residency. The contrasting reviews highlight the importance of in-person visits and detailed inquiries to form an informed opinion.

Parkside Village Reviews
I have lived here since 2017 and I absolutely love it here. Peaceful, friendly people. Feel very safe here. Quiet neighborhood. I have asked some new neighbors that have recently moved here, how they like it here and each have said the same thing. They love it. 👍💖
May 30, 2024 · Pattie PloweTerrible place to live. Some of the people in this neighborhood are very racist and proudly display the confederate flags for everyone to see. I felt bad for this young African American man who was simply delivering packages and had to deal with racist & ignorant comments. This makes me uncomfortable and not to mention, ashamed!! The lots are expensive and overpriced in my opinion. People who live in the neighborhood are trespassing on other people's property, illegally dumping on property & invading people's right to privacy!! This one man was caught in someone's backyard looking through someone's window at 1:00 in the morning!!! Not to mention, there are men that are following people everywhere they go. It's almost like they are stalking!! I will not be staying here much longer.
Apr 27, 2023 · Karen BassettI went looking for an upgrade from the Mobile Home I'm living in now ,so I inquired at a nice one in this park. But after finding out that they charge $ 578.00 a month lot rent (as of Feb. 2017) They can keep them and seriously, for that price of that INSANE lot rent and mortgage, I'd be better off buying a Condo or a Town House. Who ever owns that park has to be money hungry charging that for lot rent. Anybody looking to buy these overpriced homes and paying this INSANE lot rent has to be crazy. The Homes are way OVERPRICED the lot rent is completely INSANE, no wonder there are so many that are for sale in this park. People can't give them away. They even want out of this overpriced park but can't sell their homes. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE unless you have money to throw away.
