Silverlake Estates Introduce
For individuals searching for "RV parks near me" in Tucson, Arizona, Silverlake Estates, located at 1325 W Silverlake Rd Office, Tucson, AZ 85713, USA, is a mobile home park that warrants consideration. With contact numbers (520) 624-0097 and +1 520-624-0097, Silverlake Estates has received contrasting feedback from its residents, offering a mixed perspective for potential newcomers seeking long-term RV or mobile home living options.
One resident review expresses a highly positive sentiment, stating, "My experience, I don't only love it I'm also the maintenance technician here. This place is my peace." This testimonial suggests that at least one individual finds Silverlake Estates to be a pleasant and tranquil living environment. The fact that the reviewer is also the maintenance technician could indicate a well-maintained property and a sense of personal investment in the community. This positive viewpoint highlights the potential for a satisfying living experience within the park.
However, another review presents a starkly different and overwhelmingly negative perspective. This resident strongly advises against living at Silverlake Estates, citing several significant concerns. The reviewer labels the park as "expensive and in the ghetto," raising serious questions about the perceived value and the safety or desirability of the surrounding neighborhood. This claim could deter potential residents who prioritize safety and affordability when searching for "RV parks near me."
Further criticisms in the negative review focus on the park's amenities and management. The reviewer claims, "No bathroom in the pool. Kids pee in the pool and in the showers." These allegations, if accurate, point to potential hygiene and maintenance issues with the communal facilities, which would be a significant drawback for residents intending to use these amenities. The lack of a bathroom at the pool is a particularly concerning oversight for a recreational area.
The negative review also describes what the resident perceives as inconsistent and arbitrary enforcement of park rules, stating, "They threaten to ban you for a year if you bring food or drinks but people do it all the time they pick and choose." This suggests a lack of clear and fair application of regulations, potentially leading to frustration and resentment among residents. The claim that management "sit and take pictures of your property and try and fine you for your own stuff on your lawn" further paints a picture of intrusive and potentially unreasonable management practices.
The reviewer also criticizes the front desk staff, describing the "front desk lady" as "terrible and has a bad attitude." Positive interactions with park staff are crucial for resident satisfaction, and negative experiences can detract significantly from the overall living environment.
Adding to the concerns about the location being in "the worst part of town," the reviewer mentions that "My friends and family don’t even like to come visit." This perception of the surrounding area could impact the social lives of residents and their ability to have guests comfortably visit them at Silverlake Estates.
Finally, the negative review addresses the financial aspect, stating that the "Lot fee is 600$ don’t forget you still have to pay your bills and try to live on top of that! This place is absolutely terrible. I beggggggg you don’t do it !!!" This highlights a concern about the cost of living at Silverlake Estates, suggesting that the lot fees, in addition to regular living expenses, may be considered high, especially when weighed against the other negative aspects mentioned.
Considering the category "RV parks near me," the information available for Silverlake Estates presents a significant dichotomy. The positive review from the maintenance technician suggests a well-maintained and peaceful environment for at least one member of the community. However, the detailed and strongly negative review raises serious red flags regarding the location, management practices, amenity conditions, and overall cost-effectiveness of living at Silverlake Estates.
Given these starkly contrasting opinions, prospective residents searching for "RV parks near me" in Tucson should exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough due diligence before considering Silverlake Estates. Key areas for investigation should include:
- Visit the Property and Surrounding Area: A personal visit to Silverlake Estates and an exploration of the neighborhood can provide firsthand insights into the location's safety and desirability.
- Inspect the Amenities: If amenities like the pool and showers are important to you, request to inspect them to assess their cleanliness and functionality. Specifically inquire about the presence of a bathroom at the pool.
- Inquire About Park Rules and Enforcement: Seek clarification on the park's rules and how they are consistently enforced to avoid potential issues with management practices.
- Meet with Management: Interact with the front desk staff and other management personnel to gauge their professionalism and attitude towards residents.
- Speak with Current Residents (if possible): Try to have conversations with a broader range of residents to get a more balanced perspective on the living experience at Silverlake Estates.
- Clarify All Costs: Obtain a clear breakdown of all fees, including lot rent, utilities, and any other potential charges, to assess the overall affordability.
Due to the significant negative concerns raised in one of the reviews regarding safety, management, and amenity conditions, it is challenging to highlight any definitive promotional information or universally positive features of Silverlake Estates based solely on the provided text. The positive sentiment from the maintenance technician offers a contrasting viewpoint, but the weight and detail of the negative feedback cannot be ignored.
When searching for "RV parks near me" for long-term living, it is crucial to prioritize your safety, comfort, and financial well-being. The serious allegations made in the negative review about the location, management behavior, and the state of amenities at Silverlake Estates warrant careful consideration and thorough investigation. While one resident has a positive experience, the detailed negative account suggests potential significant drawbacks.
In conclusion, the available reviews for Silverlake Estates in Tucson offer a highly polarized view of the community. While one resident finds it peaceful and well-maintained, another strongly advises against living there due to concerns about the location, management, amenities, and cost. Prospective residents searching for "RV parks near me" should approach Silverlake Estates with caution and conduct extensive personal research to reconcile these contrasting opinions and determine if the park aligns with their individual needs and expectations for long-term RV or mobile home living. The serious allegations in the negative review necessitate thorough investigation before making any commitment.

Jun 11, 2024 · IDCM302First mobile home community I've ever lived in. Was a bit nervous due to everything you hear about "trailer parks". Lived here for 2 years now. Very clean park, well maintained, quite and peaceful. Nice neighbors, great managers who are very responsive. Due to inflation, prices for housing is skyrocketing. I have a 2 bed/2 bath place that costs me less than a decent apartment. Lot rent + all utilities average me $700-$800 per month. I looked at cheaper parks and yeah they were a bit scary. This one has a swimming pool, playground, basketball court, free car wash, laundry room, vending machines including purified water filling. 3 mins from the freeway so quick easy access to most places. Very happy I ended up here.
Oct 29, 2022 · PettclanSilverlake estates is by far one of the cleanest trailer park I have ever seen it is one of the best not only because it is very clean but the street seems to be brand new too I believe they pave the roads here like every three months or some thing like but besides that the community is very aware and it makes you feel like it is a very safe place to live
Jan 16, 2024 · Weezy GzSDark!! no security! Young adults walking around late looking???? Speed bumps some are decent heights others are ridiculous high where you bump your bottom a 2 miles an hour! Too expensive rent for what they give there renters! The office staff should be courteous! They are nice when you first ho in.... Then .... The true colors come out! They harass and be little patrons and are constantly harassing. 6 day grace period cause seniors usually get there checks on the 3rd.... So constantly get something on the door! I wish I could afford to move out because I hate them being sooooo belittling me cause I get paid on the 3rd!!! Check your office help...
