Desert Pueblo Mobile Home Park Introduce
For those searching for "RV parks near me" in the Tucson, Arizona area, or considering a 55+ mobile home community, Desert Pueblo Mobile Home Park, located at 1302 W Ajo Wy, Tucson, AZ 85713, USA, presents itself as a potential option. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of the park based on the limited and somewhat contrasting feedback available from online reviews.
One positive aspect mentioned in the reviews is the aesthetic appearance of Desert Pueblo Mobile Home Park. One reviewer noted, "It is a shame because the place looks nice." This suggests that the park may have well-maintained grounds and visually appealing landscaping, which can contribute to a pleasant overall environment for residents and visitors alike. For individuals seeking a visually attractive "mobile home park Tucson" or a welcoming "RV park near me," the park's appearance could be a positive initial impression.
Another potentially positive feature highlighted is the presence of security personnel at the gate. The same reviewer who commented on the park's nice appearance also stated that "all the security guards at the gate are wonderful." This suggests that the park prioritizes security and employs friendly and helpful security staff, which can contribute to a sense of safety and well-being for residents and their guests. For those looking for a secure "55+ RV park Tucson" or a safe mobile home community, the presence of attentive security could be a significant benefit.
However, the positive aspects are counterbalanced by significant concerns raised in another, more detailed review. This reviewer describes Desert Pueblo Mobile Home Park as "the loudest place I have ever lived in my entire life," which starkly contrasts with the expectation of a quiet environment often associated with 55+ communities. The reviewer specifically mentions noise disturbances caused by neighbors with Harley Davidson motorcycles and a large truck without a muffler. This suggests that noise levels within the park can be a significant issue for some residents, potentially detracting from the peaceful retirement atmosphere one might expect in a "senior RV park Tucson" or a 55+ mobile home community.
Furthermore, the same reviewer recounts a serious service disruption, reporting a lack of water for three days without prior notification or timely updates from the management. The reviewer's attempts to contact the office were met with unanswered calls, and when they eventually reached someone at the owners' office, they described the person as "extremely rude" and unhelpful. This account raises concerns about the reliability of essential services and the responsiveness of the management to resident issues. For individuals considering a "long-term RV Tucson" stay or moving into a mobile home, the availability and consistent provision of basic utilities like water, as well as respectful and helpful management, are critical factors.
Based on this negative experience, the reviewer explicitly advises those seeking a quiet retirement community to "keep looking," indicating a significant level of dissatisfaction with the noise levels and the management's handling of service issues. This strong recommendation against the park for those prioritizing peace and quiet should be taken seriously by potential residents.
One brief positive comment mentions that the reviewer's friends who live in the park during the winter find it "always a pleasure to visit them there." This suggests that some residents and their visitors have positive experiences at Desert Pueblo Mobile Home Park. However, this comment lacks specific details about why their visits are pleasant, making it difficult to weigh against the more detailed negative feedback regarding noise and management.
Considering the available information, Desert Pueblo Mobile Home Park presents a mixed picture. While it may have a nice appearance and friendly security staff, significant concerns have been raised about noise levels within the 55+ community and the responsiveness and demeanor of the management when dealing with service disruptions. The discrepancy between the positive comment about visiting friends and the negative experience of a resident highlights the potential for varied experiences within the park.
For individuals searching for "RV camping Tucson" or considering residing in Desert Pueblo Mobile Home Park, it is crucial to weigh these points carefully. The potential for noise issues, despite being a 55+ community, and the reported problems with water service and management responsiveness are significant drawbacks that prospective residents should investigate further. Visiting the park at different times of the day to assess noise levels and inquiring directly about service reliability and management policies would be prudent steps before making a decision.
Given the conflicting feedback, it is difficult to provide a definitive assessment of the overall environment, services, and features of Desert Pueblo Mobile Home Park. While the aesthetic appeal and friendly security are positive aspects, the serious concerns about noise and management responsiveness cannot be ignored. Potential residents should prioritize their needs regarding peace and quiet and the level of support they expect from park management when making their decision.
In conclusion, Desert Pueblo Mobile Home Park offers a visually appealing environment with friendly security. However, potential residents should be aware of reported issues regarding noise levels, despite its 55+ designation, and potential challenges with service reliability and management responsiveness. Thorough due diligence, including direct communication with the park management and ideally a visit to the property to assess the environment firsthand, is strongly recommended for anyone considering Desert Pueblo Mobile Home Park as their next residence or RV stop in Tucson. Contacting them at (520) 889-9557 or +1 520-889-9557 to inquire about current conditions and policies is a necessary step in the evaluation process.

Desert Pueblo Mobile Home Park Reviews
I have friends who live there in the winter time. Always a pleasure to visit them there
Mar 16, 2025 · James EagonThis is the loudest place I have ever lived in my entire life. I thought when I moved here that it would be nice and quiet, since it is an over 55 park. I was wrong. Two of my neighbors have harley davidson motorcycles and one neighbor has a huge truck with no muffler.Last week I had no water for 3 days, no one told me my water was off or when it would be fixed. I called the office and left messages. I had a call back the first day saying the plumber was on their way. I called the next 2 days. No one called back. I called the owners office, whoever answered was extremely rude and offered no help.If you are looking for a quiet community to retire in, keep looking. It is a shame because the place looks nice and all the security guards at the gate are wonderful.
Aug 04, 2024 · Raymond AlanThis place is very nice, I saw a mobile home I liked,so I applied not knowing that management had quit My application sat in the office for weeks and than found out I was denied without letting me know why, we had the funds my credit is good, but was not given a reason. My emails were blocked I was wanting to know why, they never gave me a reason , Someone from Silverking was very unprofessional and rude. That's a shame how they handled my denial.
Mar 26, 2024 · Yolanda MckenzieI do some smaller jobs for an elderly woman who lives here and I'm always impressed by how clean the entire park is. Residents are friendly and you can tell that they look out for one another. I wish my own neighborhood was more like this. I placed a 4 foot wide path of pavers from steps to the driveway. My dear friend is having to use a walker now and the rocks were proving too dangerous and difficult to navigate safely.
Jun 13, 2021 · Raul RamosLoved the park! One gentleman selling his home was nice enough to let us inside to take a look. I'm hearing you have to have good credit, even if you're ready to pay in full? Is that so? We would also pay lot rent in advance. Park is the best kept secret in Tucson. Would love to live here.
