The Palms Mobile Community Introduce
Located at 1421 E Benson Hwy in Tucson, Arizona, The Palms Mobile Community offers a residential setting for individuals and families seeking long-term housing in a mobile home park environment. Situated on East Benson Highway, this community is positioned in a potentially accessible area of Tucson. For those exploring the category of "RV parks near me," while The Palms primarily caters to mobile homes, understanding its current state of transition and the experiences of its residents can provide valuable context for anyone considering a longer-term stay in a similar community within the Tucson area.
Recent customer reviews indicate that The Palms Mobile Community is currently undergoing efforts to improve its overall condition under the management. One resident specifically commends the management, rating them a 5 out of 5 and acknowledging their dedication to fixing up the property. Positive changes noted include the presence of a paved road, brand new mailboxes, and the introduction of newer trailers within the community. This suggests that active steps are being taken to upgrade the infrastructure and appearance of The Palms, which could be a positive indicator for prospective residents looking for a community that is moving in a positive direction.
However, despite these improvements, residents also highlight ongoing challenges. One significant concern raised pertains to security, with reports of individuals from outside the community stealing residents' personal property, specifically mentioning electric wheelchairs. This issue suggests a potential need for enhanced security measures within The Palms to ensure the safety and well-being of its residents and their belongings. While the residents themselves are described as quiet and respectful, this external security threat is a notable drawback.
Another area of concern for residents is the parking situation. The Palms Mobile Community currently operates without assigned parking spaces. This lack of designated parking can lead to inconvenience, as anyone, including residents and visitors, can park anywhere within the community. A specific issue mentioned is the possibility of someone parking in front of a resident's trailer if their vehicle is not already occupying the space. This lack of a structured parking system could be a source of frustration and potential conflict among residents.
Furthermore, the laundry facilities at The Palms are identified as needing immediate attention. Residents express a clear need for new washers and dryers, indicating that the current facilities are likely outdated or not functioning optimally. The availability of well-maintained laundry facilities is a crucial amenity in any long-term residential community, and the reported deficiencies at The Palms could be a significant inconvenience for residents.
One reviewer acknowledges that The Palms Mobile Community has received negative reviews in the past, but they express hope that the recent positive changes initiated by the management will lead to more significant improvements in the future. This perspective suggests that while challenges remain, there is optimism among some residents about the direction the community is heading.
Another reviewer provides a more critical overall assessment, stating that the place "needs a lot of help and just a total revamp on the whole place." They believe that if the property were better maintained and cared for, it could be a great place to stay. This reinforces the idea that while improvements are being made, there is still a perceived need for more comprehensive revitalization efforts to bring The Palms up to its full potential.
Based on these reviews, the environment of The Palms Mobile Community appears to be in a state of transition. While there are visible signs of improvement, such as the paved roads and new mailboxes, the community still grapples with security concerns and issues related to parking and outdated amenities like the laundry facilities. The residents themselves are described as quiet and respectful, suggesting a potentially peaceful internal community dynamic, which is contrasted by the external security challenges.
Regarding services and features, the information is somewhat limited. The presence of paved roads and new mailboxes indicates an effort to upgrade basic infrastructure. The mention of laundry facilities confirms their availability, although their condition is reportedly poor. The lack of assigned parking is a notable feature, or rather a lack thereof, that impacts residents. There is no information provided about other potential amenities such as recreational areas, community centers, or on-site maintenance services. Prospective residents would need to inquire specifically about the full range of services and features offered.
Promotional information is not explicitly provided in the reviews. However, the ongoing efforts by the management to fix up the property could be seen as a form of implicit promotion, suggesting a commitment to improving the living conditions and value of the community. The positive feedback regarding the management's efforts might also attract individuals looking for a community with responsive leadership.
For individuals searching within the "RV parks near me" category, The Palms Mobile Community, as a mobile home park, might not be a direct fit for short-term RV stays. However, for those considering a longer-term or semi-permanent residency in the Tucson area and open to a mobile home community, the ongoing improvements and the potential for a quiet living environment could be appealing. It would be crucial for RV owners to inquire about the park's policies on RVs, the availability of suitable spaces, and whether the current amenities, particularly the laundry facilities and the unassigned parking, would meet their needs. The security concerns would also be a significant factor to consider.
Based on the available information, the features of The Palms Mobile Community include:
- Ongoing Improvements: Active efforts by management to renovate and upgrade the property, including paved roads and new mailboxes.
- Dedicated Management: Receives positive feedback for their efforts to improve the community.
- Quiet Residents: The community is described as having quiet residents who mind their own business.
- Long-Term Residential Focus: Primarily caters to mobile homes, suitable for those seeking a more permanent living situation.
However, potential drawbacks to consider include:
- Security Concerns: Reports of theft by individuals from outside the community.
- Unassigned Parking: Lack of designated parking spaces, leading to potential inconveniences.
- Outdated Laundry Facilities: Expressed need for new washers and dryers.
- Overall Condition: While improving, some areas still need significant revitalization.
Promotional information is limited to the implied message of ongoing improvements under dedicated management. Prospective residents are encouraged to contact The Palms Mobile Community directly using the provided phone numbers to inquire about current availability, policies, the status of ongoing improvements, security measures, parking regulations, and the condition of the laundry facilities.
In conclusion, The Palms Mobile Community in Tucson presents a picture of a community in transition, with a dedicated management team actively working to improve the property. While residents appreciate these efforts and the quiet nature of the community, concerns remain regarding security, the lack of assigned parking, and the need for upgrades to amenities like the laundry facilities. For individuals searching within "RV parks near me" for long-term options or those interested in mobile home living, The Palms offers potential, but a thorough understanding of the current conditions and ongoing challenges is essential. Direct communication with the management is highly recommended to gain the most accurate and up-to-date information.

The Palms Mobile Community Reviews
The management is doing their utmost to fix this place up. There is a paved road now, brand new mailboxes, and newer trailers. The management is a 5, the property is a 3 because of the issues of people from other places stealing people's electric wheelchairs, ect. The people who live here are quiet and they mind their business. I would say one of the downsides is there is no assigned parking, so anyone can park anywhere...even in front of your trailer if your vehicle is not there already. Another issue I would say needs immediate attention is the laundry facilities....we could surely benefit from new washers and dryers indeed. I know this place received horrid reviews for years, so we'll see if the little changes create bigger changes in the future.
Aug 11, 2023 · Lady AriesThis place needs a lot of help and just a total revamp on the whole place someone needs to take care of it more and bring it back to life a bit. It would be a great place to stay if it was kept up and taken care of more.
Jan 18, 2021 · Shawna ShawHonestly this place is a $h!t hole. Looks as if the owners don't care about the property. Broken trailers with boarded up windows. This place has potential if it was fixed up
Aug 20, 2021 · Joe ChristThe new management has done wonders with this property. Excited to see how it finishes up and the future plans for this property
Feb 15, 2023 · Michael AsherDrive by and keep driving. Better yet, don't even go there. Not sure why you would other than to do a report on poverty and the consequences of drug addiction.
