Brothers Mobile Home Rental Introduce
For individuals searching for "RV parks near me" in the Jacksonville, Florida area, it's important to consider that some mobile home parks may offer long-term lot rentals for RVs. Brothers Mobile Home Rental, located at 5349 Old Kings Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32254, USA, is primarily a mobile home park. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of Brothers Mobile Home Rental based on recent customer reviews, focusing on the environment, management, maintenance, and the application process as described by those who have interacted with it.
Severe Concerns Regarding Living Conditions and Maintenance
One of the customer reviews paints a very negative picture of the living conditions at Brothers Mobile Home Rental. The reviewer describes it as a "Shitty place to live," alleging widespread issues such as "all the trailers have mold issues" and instances of "people falling through floors." These are serious accusations that suggest significant structural and health concerns within the rental units. The reviewer further claims that the "landlords are ignorant and try to play it off like they dont know about the issues," indicating a lack of responsiveness or accountability from the management regarding these problems.
The criticism extends to the maintenance team, which the reviewer describes as "sucks" and accuses of theft and leaving behind trash, including nails, in the yard. Such allegations raise serious concerns about the trustworthiness and professionalism of the maintenance staff. Additionally, the reviewer mentions issues with fallen trees taking "2 to 4 weeks" to be picked up, an overflowing trash can, and a possum problem, suggesting a general lack of attention to the upkeep and cleanliness of the park grounds. The overall sentiment is one of extreme dissatisfaction, with the reviewer labeling the landlords as "slumlords" who only care about money and advising others not to rent from them, claiming that one would feel "Cleaner anywhere else then here!"
Negative Experience with the Application Process
Another customer review details a negative experience with the application process. This individual was referred to Brothers Mobile Home Rental by a detective from the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office (JSO) and had a reported credit score of 638 with no background issues for themselves (though some for their husband, which they believed should not be a barrier given the referral). Despite having "good references as well," their application was declined without any stated reason. The reviewer expressed significant disappointment with this outcome, especially given the circumstances of the referral.
Environment: Described as Poor and Unmaintained
Based on the overwhelmingly negative first review, the environment of Brothers Mobile Home Rental is described as poor and poorly maintained. Allegations of mold issues within trailers, structural problems leading to residents falling through floors, unaddressed fallen trees, overflowing trash, and pest problems like possums suggest a neglected and potentially unsafe living environment. The presence of trash and nails left by the maintenance team further contributes to a negative perception of the park's upkeep and overall environment.
Services and Features: Limited Information and Negative Perceptions
The provided reviews offer very limited information about the specific services and features of Brothers Mobile Home Rental. We can infer some basic features typically found in mobile home parks, such as:
- Individual lots for mobile homes (and potentially RVs for long-term stays).
- Utility hookups (water, electricity, sewer) at each lot (implied, but not explicitly stated).
- Maintenance services (though heavily criticized).
- Trash disposal (also criticized for being inadequate).
There is no mention of additional amenities such as laundry facilities, recreational areas, or community centers in the provided reviews. The focus is primarily on the severely negative experiences related to the living conditions, maintenance, and management.
Suitability for RV Owners Seeking Long-Term Stays: Highly Discouraged Based on Reviews
For individuals with camper trailers looking for "RV parks near me" that might offer long-term lot rentals, the information available about Brothers Mobile Home Rental strongly suggests avoiding this park. The severe allegations of mold issues, structural problems, negligent maintenance, unresponsive landlords, and general disrepair paint a picture of a living environment that would likely be unsatisfactory and potentially unsafe for any long-term resident, including those in RVs. The negative experience with the application process also raises concerns about the management's practices.
Promotional Information: Not Available
The provided customer reviews do not contain any information regarding specific promotional offers, current lot rental rates for mobile homes or RVs, or any incentives for new residents. Given the overwhelmingly negative feedback regarding the living conditions and management, it would be prudent for potential residents to look elsewhere for long-term accommodation.
Conclusion: Significant and Severe Concerns Raised by Residents
The recent customer reviews for Brothers Mobile Home Rental in Jacksonville, FL, raise significant and severe concerns regarding the living conditions, maintenance, and management of the park. Allegations of widespread mold issues, structural problems, negligent maintenance staff, unresponsive landlords, and a generally unkempt environment paint a very negative picture. Additionally, a negative experience with the application process further adds to the concerns. For local users searching for "RV parks near me" and considering Brothers Mobile Home Rental for a long-term stay, the available information strongly suggests that this park should be approached with extreme caution, and exploring alternative options would be highly advisable. The reported conditions indicate a potentially unhealthy and unpleasant living environment.

Dec 05, 2021 · Sharon BentfordLooking to move into a place run by persons with ethics, respect for residents current AND POTENTIAL and a sense of professionalism... then I read their response of "what smell? You live here? " rather than ignore ( if they don't reside there or simple state that fact).. telling it's another prop "managed" by either 20yr olds or retaliatory persons.
