Absolutely well worth it! Great people, quiet and beautiful view of sunsets next to a winery! We’re definitelyComing back
Feb 17, 2025 · Ash-lee McQuaigIt is WAY better out here than I thought it would be! I love the smell of the country, the gorgeous sunsets, the quiet!!! The manager, Amber, is very polite, helpful, and professional. The prices and location really are key here. It's far enough from the city that you can actually see the stars at night yet only 20 or 30 minutes away from anywhere and everywhere I need to be regularly. The views are gorgeous. Can't talk about that enough.Crosslake RV appears to be in regular state of improvement as well. However, that improvement has/does not disturb the feeling of being in a peaceful countryside. It's worth every penny to stay here!
Mar 30, 2024 · Philip RittnerI almost hate to leave a review as the campground is still under construction. There are some sites available, but by the waterside they are still having sites and electric put in. The site we were in was fairly level gravel with a strip of grass at the side. The laundry is outside under a lean-to and has 2 washers and 2 dryers. I believe there is a restroom also. The roads are pretty bad as the fill material has glass, china, plastic and wire in it. They are in the process of putting on Asphalt and pea gravel. I believe most of the RVs were owned by people who work locally as we seemed to be the only people who were around during the day. Fairly quiet, but trains pass nearby and planes fly over. The office was never open during our week long stay and reservation was done on the phone. The construction noise was very minimal as we only saw one dump truck working for a couple of hours, so it may be a while before the campground is finished.
Sep 21, 2024 · Pat PullumThis place is exactly what it claims to be. It’s a gravel lot with some hook ups and laundry. So for that, I can’t really fault the actual owners or campground. This place is serviceable. I am pretty surprised at all the reviews saying this place is quiet. Because that’s one thing I disagree with and would’ve liked to know before I came here. There are constant trains running right across the street. Which you also get stuck waiting for on the road all the time when you’re trying to get into downtown Jacksonville. There’s a barn next door that I guess gets rented out for parties and plays music until like 10 PM on random days of the week. They also are doing construction on the property every day, which typically isn’t overly noisy, but shakes your camper a lot.The wifi isn’t great. And if you have AT&T you have no cellular service. The campsite was also filled with cigarette butts, beer bottle caps, and other trash when we came. Granted, we came pretty last minute. Also, the area feels safer than proper Jacksonville, but it still doesn’t feel *that* safe. That’s this whole area though.
Dec 01, 2023 · Meghan HewittI hate to write an unkind review, but when I read the other reviews I thought I must have been in the wrong RV Park. The park is under development and I feel certain that in a few years it will be quite nice, but right now the main road is full of ruts. Building machinery starts around 7:30am, stops at 9:30 or ten and then starts up again at about 7pm and goes for another hour or so…..so premium hours for sitting outside are full of noice and dust. No bathrooms….laundry is just a covered area with 2 washers and 2 dryers. They do have WiFi, but it’s very spotty.
