Pecan Lake Mobile Home Park Introduce
For local users searching for housing options within the category of "RV parks near me," it's important to also be aware of nearby mobile home parks that offer long-term residential opportunities. Pecan Lake Mobile Home Park, located at 2850 S Beltline Rd, Dallas, TX 75253, USA, is one such community. However, recent online reviews paint a concerning picture regarding the management and infrastructure of this park, which potential residents should carefully consider.
Multiple reviews express strong negative sentiments towards the new management at Pecan Lake Mobile Home Park. A recurring theme is the accusation that the new management is taking advantage of residents who may have difficulty understanding English. One reviewer claims, "The new management is taking advantage of people who can't speak English or don't understand it." This is a serious allegation that raises significant ethical concerns about the treatment of residents within the community.
Another major complaint revolves around the management's alleged practice of forcing residents to make upgrades or repairs to their mobile homes, even when there is supposedly nothing wrong with them. The same reviewer states, "They are making their residents upgrade/fix their Mobile Homes even if there's nothing wrong with the house." This policy, if accurately represented, could impose unexpected and potentially unnecessary financial burdens on residents who own their mobile homes but rent the land within the park.
Furthermore, residents who attempt to question or defend themselves against these directives reportedly face severe repercussions. The review continues by stating that "if you try and defend yourself, they ask you to leave within 30 days even if you have never been late on your rent payment." This suggests a potentially retaliatory management style that discourages residents from asserting their rights or questioning management decisions, creating a climate of fear and insecurity within the park. The reviewer, who claims to have lived there for 15 years without prior issues, expresses strong dissatisfaction with the new management.
Another reviewer echoes these concerns, explicitly labeling the "Management as horrible." They reiterate the claim that management is "making people modify their mobile like they owned," emphasizing the distinction between renting the space and owning the mobile home. This highlights a fundamental disagreement between residents and management regarding the rights and responsibilities associated with renting a lot in a mobile home park.
Beyond management issues, the infrastructure of Pecan Lake Mobile Home Park also appears to be a source of dissatisfaction for residents. One reviewer advises potential newcomers to "If you smart don’t move here," citing the discrepancy between the management's apparent attitude and the actual condition of the park. They state, "They are acting like a rich place when street are in bad condition in some spots and no internet company have access." The poor condition of the streets can impact the quality of life for residents, affecting everything from driving within the park to the general aesthetic appeal of the community. The lack of internet access from any company is a significant drawback in today's connected world, particularly for those who work from home or rely on internet services for communication and entertainment.
The same reviewer also points out a potential discrepancy in the park's online rating. They suggest that the current three-star rating may be outdated, reflecting the experiences of residents from several years ago. They speculate that more recent reviews would likely result in a much lower rating, possibly "1 start if not 0 rating by now." This highlights the importance of considering the recency of online reviews when evaluating a potential living situation.
The reviewer concludes with a strong warning: "Once again DO NOT MOVE HERE." They further suggest that many current residents remain at Pecan Lake Mobile Home Park "just because they have no choice not because they want to be here," and that this is why "many are selling their mobile home." This paints a picture of a community where residents are actively seeking to leave, indicating a potentially negative living environment.
Based on the overwhelmingly negative recent reviews, potential local users searching within the "RV parks near me" category who might be considering Pecan Lake Mobile Home Park for long-term living should exercise extreme caution. The serious allegations regarding the new management's treatment of residents, including the potential for financial exploitation and retaliatory eviction, along with concerns about the park's infrastructure, warrant thorough investigation and consideration.
While the phone number for Pecan Lake Mobile Home Park is provided as (972) 286-5250 and the mobile number as +1 972-286-5250, contacting the management directly may not provide an unbiased perspective on the issues raised in the reviews. It would be prudent for potential residents to attempt to speak with current residents independently to gain a more accurate understanding of the current living conditions and management practices within the park.
Given the significant negative feedback, there is no basis for presenting any promotional information for Pecan Lake Mobile Home Park at this time. The focus must be on objectively conveying the serious concerns raised by recent reviewers to ensure that potential local users are aware of these issues before considering this community as a long-term residential option.
In conclusion, recent online reviews of Pecan Lake Mobile Home Park in Dallas, TX, raise significant concerns regarding the new management's treatment of residents, including allegations of taking advantage of those with language barriers and forcing unnecessary home upgrades under threat of eviction. Additionally, there are complaints about the poor condition of the park's streets and the lack of internet access. Potential residents are strongly advised to proceed with extreme caution, to seek out independent perspectives from current residents, and to thoroughly investigate these issues before making any decisions about moving to Pecan Lake Mobile Home Park. The information available suggests a potentially negative living environment that prospective residents should carefully consider.

Pecan Lake Mobile Home Park Reviews
The new management is taking advantage of people who can't speak English or don't understand it. They are making their residents upgrade/fix their Mobile Homes even if there's nothing wrong with the house. Also, if you try and defend yourself, they ask you to leave within 30 days even if you have never been late on your rent payment. I've been here 15 years and never had a problem until this B!@*h took over!!!!!!
May 17, 2024 · Jose PerezManagement is horrible. They are making people modify their mobile like they owned. People rent the space not the mobile home!!!If you smart don’t move here. They are acting like a rich place when street are in bad condition in some spots and no internet company have access. If you work from home discard this place. Look at the rating the only reason it has three star is from people living 3 years ago but I am pretty sure it would be 1 start if not 0 rating by now. Once again DO NOT MOVE HERE. Most of the people stay here just because they have no choice not because they want to be here that’s why many are selling their mobile home.
Jul 19, 2024 · BOA 503DO NOT MOVE HERE, they charge for everything! They mow the lawn after we already mowed it so they can still charge us. The treatment here is horrible. If I had the money to move out I would. They complain about anything they can find. I've caught one of them looking through our windows. We called the cops because they towed our car. WE WERE LITERALLY PARKED IN OUR PARKING SPACE CORRECTLY, THEY JUST WANTED TO CHARGE US TO PARK IN OUR OWN HOME! Even the cops thought they were crazy. Run far away from here.
Dec 11, 2023 · YvonneI don’t recommend living here. They are very rude and unfair to their own community. The new management is bad. They don’t take care of their cat problem . Also, they kick people out for the minimal reason or even take their trailers they own. Overall I would give it 0 stars if I could. They really act like they’re highland hills.
Jun 15, 2024 · Jennifer RoldanHORRIBLE. Me along with other relatives live here and I just wanted to visit my cousin for a few hours and they towed my car for no reason. I have everything the managers asked us to have in our cars meaning the sticker. IM LITERALLY A RESIDENT HERE. And it’s not even past 11pm, towed my car in broad daylight. The towing isn’t the only issue. They cut our water, there’s horrible service, they cut our lawn to charge us these landowners at extremely MONEY HUNGRY. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!
