Pine Ridge at Crestwood Introduce
Located at 2 Fox St, Manchester Township, NJ 08759, USA, Pine Ridge at Crestwood is a mobile home park that appears to cater to an active adult or retirement community. With contact phone numbers (732) 350-9000 and +1 732-350-9000, Pine Ridge at Crestwood may be listed under the category "RV parks near me" on some platforms, but it primarily functions as a long-term residential community for owners or lessees of manufactured homes. Reviews from current and former residents offer contrasting perspectives on the environment, services, and overall living experience at Pine Ridge at Crestwood.
One reviewer describes Pine Ridge at Crestwood as a "beautiful location with some great wildlife behind it and close by." This suggests that the park may benefit from a scenic setting with natural surroundings, potentially offering residents opportunities to observe local wildlife and enjoy a more tranquil environment. The reviewer also acknowledges the commonality of varying neighborly experiences, advising prospective residents to "do your homework." Positively, this reviewer specifically praises "Roschelle from the office" as "an absolute joy" and the maintenance man "Carlos" as "really great," indicating positive interactions with some of the park staff.
In contrast, another resident who has lived at Pine Ridge at Crestwood for three years expresses significant dissatisfaction and alleges being "misled." This review claims that the "fox Street side" of the community lacks a clubhouse, despite advertising suggesting an "active clubhouse." The reviewer states that the clubhouse has been closed since Hurricane Sandy. Furthermore, they allege that the advertised "overnight security" is also untrue. These claims raise concerns about the accuracy of the park's representations and the availability of promised amenities and services.
The second review also details serious issues with a specific neighbor, alleging harassment of multiple residents on the block, including spray-painting a new house and blocking mailboxes. The reviewer expresses frustration that the "office don't do anything about it." A particularly disturbing anecdote involves a 90-year-old neighbor allegedly being instructed to search for a stray cat under their clothing by this problematic neighbor, highlighting concerns about the safety and well-being of residents and the responsiveness of the park management to such issues. The reviewer concludes with a strong recommendation: "Don't buy here you will regret it," indicating a deeply negative overall experience.
Based on these reviews, the environment of Pine Ridge at Crestwood appears to have both appealing natural aspects and potential challenges related to community harmony and the responsiveness of management to resident concerns. The proximity to wildlife could be a significant draw for nature enthusiasts. However, the alleged lack of advertised amenities, such as an active clubhouse and overnight security, along with the reported issues with a disruptive neighbor and the perceived inaction of the office, present serious considerations for potential residents.
Information regarding the specific services and features of Pine Ridge at Crestwood is somewhat limited and contradictory based on the provided reviews. While the positive review mentions a helpful office staff member (Roschelle) and a great maintenance person (Carlos), the negative review suggests a lack of effective management intervention in neighborly disputes and potential misrepresentation regarding amenities. Typically, mobile home parks offer essential utilities such as water, sewer, and electricity hookups for each home site. Residents are usually responsible for their individual utility costs. Refuse removal and basic maintenance of common areas are also common services.
The discrepancy regarding the clubhouse is a significant point. If the park advertised an active clubhouse that is, in fact, closed, this could be a major disappointment for residents seeking social activities and community engagement. Similarly, the alleged absence of overnight security, if advertised, could raise safety concerns for residents. The lack of intervention in the reported neighbor harassment issue also suggests a potential deficiency in community management and conflict resolution.
As Pine Ridge at Crestwood appears to be an active adult or retirement community, it might typically offer amenities geared towards this demographic, such as recreational facilities, social clubs, or organized activities. However, the conflicting information about the clubhouse makes it difficult to ascertain the extent of such offerings. The beautiful location and proximity to wildlife mentioned in one review could be considered features that enhance the living experience for some residents.
When considering Pine Ridge at Crestwood in the context of "RV parks near me," it is important to understand that it primarily operates as a mobile home park for long-term residents, likely catering to the 55+ or retirement demographic. It is not typically designed for short-term RV stays and may not offer the amenities usually associated with RV parks, such as individual RV hookups, dump stations, or short-term rental options. Therefore, individuals seeking temporary RV accommodations in the Manchester Township area should look for dedicated RV parks or campgrounds.
Promotional information for Pine Ridge at Crestwood is not explicitly provided in the reviews. To obtain accurate information about lot availability, purchase or leasing options for manufactured homes, associated costs (including lot fees and any community charges), and the current status of amenities like the clubhouse and security services, prospective residents should contact the park management directly using the provided phone numbers. It would be prudent to inquire specifically about the park's policies on neighbor disputes and pet regulations, as these are areas of concern raised in the reviews. Visiting the community and speaking with current residents (if possible) could also provide a more comprehensive understanding of the living environment and management practices at Pine Ridge at Crestwood before making a decision.
In conclusion, Pine Ridge at Crestwood in Manchester Township, NJ, is a mobile home park that appears to be geared towards active adults or retirees, potentially offering a beautiful location with natural surroundings. However, resident reviews present a mixed picture, with positive feedback on some staff members contrasted by serious allegations of misleading information regarding amenities and a lack of effective management intervention in community issues. Prospective residents should conduct thorough research, directly communicate with the park management, and consider visiting the community to assess whether Pine Ridge at Crestwood aligns with their expectations for long-term living.

Pine Ridge at Crestwood Reviews
It's a beautiful location with some great wildlife behind it and close by but like any neighborhood you have good neighbors n horrible 1s. So I suggest you do your homework...but I will say Roschelle from the office is an absolute joy..and maintenance man Carlos is really great...
May 19, 2024 · John WardWe have lived here 3 yrs. They misled us. The fox Street side has no clubhouse they advertised that they have an active clubhouse. It's been closed since Hurricane sandy. They tell you they have overnight security. That's lie too. And we have a neighbor that has been harassing everyone on the block. Even spray painted a new house. And blocked our mailbox from getting mail when they have a long driveway and also office don't do anything about it. My 90 yr. Old neighbor was told to go outside under his skirt to find her stray cat that she doesn't take care of, feed or let in the house. In the dark I had to help him away from her. She is mentally unstable. And the office does nothing to help us. Don't buy here you will regret it
Apr 10, 2025 · Richard HeislerRent goes up each year. You have to buy the trailer and you rent the land. The lot you rent is ridiculous. The neighbors are nice.
Apr 13, 2025 · Victoria CummingsAlthough I love living in Whiting, I will say if you're thinking of moving into this mobile home park... I would think twice. I've lived here for almost 2 years now. The first year they raised my lot rent 7% but yet they dropped the security guard, so we no longer have a security guard. And this year they raised my rent 6% and they dropped the bus service to the stores. So they keep dropping things that they used to offer you and they raise your lot rent way too much! Remember, these are senior citizens living here on social security!. And although ordinances have been passed for rent control, the people who run this community have found a way around it. So the first lease you sign is for one year. But after the first year they put you month to month lease. They can raise you any amount and as many times as they want! And when you call to question it they tell you you can move out! So please people although the community is quiet, the people are nice.... The ones who own this community just look to screw the seniors. Please think twice about moving here, you're definitely better off in one of The villages
