Piney Grove RV Park Reviews
I contacted Piney Grove at the last minute to see if we could camp for just one night. They were so accommodating and made us feel right at home! They had an Easter celebration the night we stayed and truly treated everyone like family with music, food, an egg hunt, and candy. Such a nice park and such nice people!
Apr 24, 2025 · Cassey CurranWe stayed here for 11 months while my husband was working in the area. Our little family loved it! It's a very peaceful spot with beautiful sunsets. The owners respond quickly to any questions or concerns, the rates are very reasonable, and they are constantly improving the RV park. While we were there, it doubled in size: the original section has more older trees but they've planted young trees in the new section too, plus they added them all down the road into the park and around the big pond they dug. They also added a lovely gazebo out over the pond, along with porch-style swings throughout the park. It's only 5 minutes to La Grange (which is a great little town), only 20 minutes to 2 small cities, an hour from Greenville or Raleigh, and 90 minutes to the stunning Crystal Coast.
Jan 03, 2025 · AwayPeasMy husband and I and our 2 springers stayed here for 4 months while we searched for our home. This place is nothing short of amazing. The owners are friendly and welcoming and if you have anything you need they are quick to respond. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and they are working on enhancements and can't wait to stop in and see the progress. They have all the amenities you need if you are stationary. The laundry rooms are always kept clean. We had to use the bathhouses when our water heater gave out and the bathrooms were clean and great water pressure. Check it out if you need a nice place to stay and won't break the bank on rent. Everything is amazing.
Apr 29, 2025 · Amanda PikusGreat facilities almost brand new everything. Friendly family owned and operated. And not $1,000 a month like many places I've been to. Beautiful laundry facilities on site, nice pond, very pet friendly, nice playground for kids, even child size picnic tables!! If ur in this area and don't stay here, you should have. We go to many rv parks, as we work on the road and travel alot, and this is a great place to call home even if for only one nite.
Mar 26, 2025 · michael⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Our time at Piney Grove RV Park was nothing short of amazing! We stayed here for about a year, and the experience was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the owner and his family welcomed us with open arms, making us feel like part of their own family. The campground is not only beautiful, but it's also filled with great amenities that enhanced our stay. We loved participating in the fun activities organized by the owners, which helped foster a sense of community among guests. My son particularly enjoyed spending time with the owner’s granddaughters and daughter-in-law—they quickly became friends, and their laughter and joy will be cherished memories for our family. As we packed up to leave, it was bittersweet. We developed such strong bonds with everyone here, and it felt like leaving family behind. We truly hope to return someday!I highly recommend Piney Grove Rv Park to anyone looking for a welcoming and enjoyable camping experience. You won’t find a better place to create lasting memories with great people! With warm regards,The Thackston’s
