Green Acres Mobile Home Park Introduce
Green Acres Mobile Home Park, situated at 2517 Green Acres, Kinston, NC 28504, USA, is a residential mobile home community. While the category "RV Parks Near Me" might typically be associated with transient recreational vehicle accommodations, Green Acres Mobile Home Park primarily serves as a long-term living solution for individuals and families in manufactured homes. This introduction aims to provide an objective and detailed overview of the park, encompassing its environment, reported services, notable features, and crucial promotional information, drawing directly from available public information, including customer reviews.
Environment and Location:
Green Acres Mobile Home Park is located in Kinston, North Carolina, a city in Lenoir County. Kinston offers a blend of historical charm and local amenities, typical of a mid-sized Southern town. The park's address places it within the residential landscape of Kinston. Based on customer reviews, the physical environment of Green Acres Mobile Home Park presents some significant challenges. Residents have reported issues with the park's infrastructure, specifically citing "terrible" roads with "potholes everywhere" and speed bumps that are detrimental to vehicle upkeep. There are also mentions of ditches needing clearing, indicating potential drainage or general maintenance concerns within the park's common areas. The overall impression conveyed by some residents is that the park is "trashy," with instances of people using it as a "trash dumping site" that management reportedly does not address effectively.
This feedback suggests an environment that, while offering mobile home living, may struggle with consistent maintenance and cleanliness standards. The condition of the roads, in particular, could impact daily commutes and vehicle longevity for residents. The general aesthetic and upkeep of the park, as described, indicate areas that require significant attention to enhance the living experience.
Services and Offerings:
As a mobile home park, Green Acres primarily offers lots for manufactured homes, where residents typically own their homes and rent the land. The park's management is identified through phone numbers: (252) 522-2803 and +1 252-522-2803, presumably for inquiries regarding lot availability, rental agreements, and resident services. However, customer reviews highlight serious concerns regarding the consistency and quality of services provided. One recurrent issue mentioned is constant water outages. Furthermore, there are severe complaints about the maintenance of properties within the park, with one tenant describing having to perform "major cleaning the whole place before moving in" due to it being trashy. Specific structural safety concerns were also raised, including falling through front stairs and dangerously unattached boards on back stairs. A significant issue reported was a heating system that went unrepaired for five years, despite multiple attempts by management to address it, all while young children were living in the home.
These accounts suggest that services related to utility provision, property maintenance, and timely repairs of essential home systems are reportedly inconsistent or deficient. Concerns about lot rent being disproportionate to the lack of upkeep are also explicitly stated, indicating dissatisfaction with the perceived value of the services offered. There are direct admonitions to "Stay away not worth the hassle" and to avoid a specific realtor company, VFMR, implying a problematic relationship or experience with associated service providers.
Features:
The primary feature of Green Acres Mobile Home Park is its provision of residential lots for manufactured homes in Kinston, NC. However, the reported features, from a resident perspective, are largely negative and revolve around deficiencies in infrastructure and maintenance. The "potholes everywhere with speed bumps" and "terrible roads" are consistently cited issues affecting daily life for residents. The park's cleanliness appears to be a major concern, with descriptions of it being "trashy" and used as a "trash dumping site."
The specific examples of structural disrepair, such as falling through stairs and unattached boards, point to a significant lack of safety and basic habitability in some units or common areas. The inability to resolve a heating issue for five years, especially with children present, speaks to a critical failure in providing essential living conditions. These reported features suggest that while the park offers mobile home living, it may fall short on delivering a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for its residents.
The mobile phone numbers (252) 522-2803 and +1 252-522-2803 are available for contact, though the nature of customer feedback indicates that communication with management about these issues might be a challenge or lead to unsatisfactory resolutions.
Promotional Information and Considerations:
Given the strongly negative customer reviews, any promotional information for Green Acres Mobile Home Park would need to address the significant concerns raised by current and former residents. For individuals searching for "RV Parks Near Me" with an interest in long-term mobile home living in Kinston, NC, the publicly available feedback suggests exercising extreme caution. Prospective residents are strongly advised to conduct thorough due diligence, including visiting the park in person, speaking with current residents if possible, and scrutinizing any lease agreements or service contracts in detail.
It is imperative for interested parties to inquire directly about the current state of infrastructure, water supply reliability, maintenance protocols, and responsiveness to repair requests. The recurring themes of unmaintained roads, cleanliness issues, utility interruptions, and neglected home repairs as mentioned in the reviews are critical points for investigation before considering residency. The warnings to "Do not move out here" and "Stay away" from associated realtors should be taken as serious advice, prompting a deeper investigation into the management practices and the park's operational history. Ultimately, while Green Acres Mobile Home Park offers housing in Kinston, the reported experiences of its residents highlight substantial challenges that potential occupants should be fully aware of and evaluate carefully.

Jul 31, 2024 · Aldorian SaulsThey are extremely negligent . the park is trashy. People use it as a trash dumping site and management doesn't get it cleaned up. Had to do major cleaning the whole place before moving in. . Fell through the front stairs one time .the back stairs was mind boggling how unsafe it was.. Boards you step on are not even attached. The heat went out 5 years ago they sent someone twice but it didn't get fixed. ever! And all this with young children living there.
