Pioneer Creek RV Resort

138 Broward St, Bowling Green, FL 33834, USA

4.0
Was a great place. Nice amenities and very social community. Left and came back and they wouldn't allow us to stay this time because we had a Shepard. Was very disappointed 😞. Sad they stereotyped a specific bread of dog. Not a dog problem it's an owner problem... Would have given 4 stars. - Duane Collins

Pioneer Creek RV Resort Introduce

If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in Central Florida, specifically near Bowling Green, Pioneer Creek RV Resort, located at 138 Broward St, Bowling Green, FL 33834, offers a welcoming and well-maintained environment for both short and long-term stays. You can reach them at (863) 375-4343 or +1 863-375-4343 for inquiries and reservations.

Pioneer Creek RV Resort has garnered positive feedback from many of its guests, who appreciate its amenities and social atmosphere. One former guest, who had previously enjoyed their stay and returned, described it as having "Nice amenities and very social community." This highlights the resort's efforts in providing facilities that cater to the needs of RV travelers and fostering a sense of community among its visitors. The social aspect suggests that Pioneer Creek RV Resort is a place where it's easy to meet and interact with fellow travelers, enhancing the overall experience.

Another long-term traveler, who had been living on the road for three years and stopped at Pioneer Creek between stays at Thousand Trails campgrounds, shared a particularly positive experience. They noted it as a "pleasant surprise" and found it "well worth every penny" at $40 a night for a week's stay. Several factors contributed to this positive impression, including "the pleasant conversations with so many people in the park" and how "well it was kept." The cleanliness and maintenance of the resort appear to be high standards at Pioneer Creek, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable environment for guests.

Despite its proximity to Highway 27, the resort was also noted for being "quiet in the evening," offering a peaceful retreat after a day of travel or activities. This balance of accessibility and tranquility is a significant advantage for many RVers seeking a convenient yet restful stop.

The reviewer explicitly recommended Pioneer Creek RV Resort for both short and extended stays, mentioning that "many do" stay for as long as six months. This suggests that the resort caters to a diverse range of travelers, from those passing through for a few nights to snowbirds seeking a longer winter haven in Central Florida. The welcoming nature of the people in the park was also highlighted, reinforcing the sense of community mentioned by the other reviewer.

In terms of amenities, the long-term traveler noted that Pioneer Creek offers "All the amenities you need from a big laundry facility to shuffleboard and other normal activities. And of course a very nice, clean warm pool." These are essential facilities that contribute to a comfortable and enjoyable stay, especially for longer durations. A well-equipped laundry facility is crucial for travelers, while recreational options like shuffleboard and a "very nice, clean warm pool" provide opportunities for relaxation and socializing.

However, it is important to present a complete picture by also addressing a negative experience shared by a returning guest. This guest expressed significant disappointment because they were not allowed to stay this time due to owning a Shepherd. They stated, "Was very disappointed 😞. Sad they stereotyped a specific bread of dog. Not a dog problem it's an owner problem..." This indicates a potential restriction on certain dog breeds at Pioneer Creek RV Resort. While the resort was previously a "great place" with "Nice amenities and very social community" for this guest, the breed-specific policy prevented their return. This is a crucial piece of information for potential guests traveling with dogs, particularly Shepherds or other breeds that might fall under such restrictions.

The disappointed guest felt that the policy unfairly stereotyped a specific breed and argued that responsible pet ownership should be the determining factor rather than breed. This highlights a potential point of contention for dog owners considering a stay at Pioneer Creek RV Resort. While the resort offers a welcoming environment and nice amenities, their pet policy regarding certain breeds may be a significant drawback for some travelers.

Despite this negative experience related to pet policy, the other reviews overwhelmingly praise the resort's cleanliness, maintenance, friendly atmosphere, and amenities. Pioneer Creek RV Resort appears to be a well-regarded destination for those seeking a pleasant and social RV experience in Central Florida. Its affordability at $40 a night (as mentioned in one review, though this may vary) for the quality and amenities offered also makes it an attractive option.

In conclusion, Pioneer Creek RV Resort in Bowling Green, FL, offers a well-maintained and social environment with nice amenities such as a large laundry facility, shuffleboard, and a clean, warm pool. It is conveniently located not too far from Highway 27 yet maintains a quiet atmosphere in the evenings. The resort is suitable for both short and long-term stays and is praised for its friendly people. However, potential guests traveling with dogs, particularly Shepherds or similar breeds, should be aware of a policy that may restrict certain types of dogs. Despite this potential limitation, Pioneer Creek RV Resort appears to be a highly recommended option for those seeking a pleasant and well-equipped "RV park near me" in Central Florida.
