Pleak RV Resort Introduce
Are you currently searching for "RV parks near me" in the Rosenberg, Texas area? Pleak RV Resort, located at 5825 TX-36, Rosenberg, TX 77471, USA, is one option you might be considering. They can be reached by phone at (346) 780-1878 or mobile at +1 346-780-1878. However, based on recent customer reviews available online, it appears that Pleak RV Resort presents a mixed experience, with positive feedback regarding the management and concrete pads contrasted by significant concerns about drainage, site planning, and the overall park environment. As you explore "RV parks near me," it's crucial to weigh these varying perspectives to make an informed decision.
One reviewer offered a largely positive account, emphasizing the "friendly owners and outstanding park manager." This positive sentiment regarding the management can be a significant factor when choosing an RV park, as responsive and helpful management can greatly enhance the quality of your stay. This reviewer also highlighted that "the entire park is concrete to include the slots," which is often seen as a desirable feature for RV owners due to its stability and cleanliness. While this reviewer noted that the concrete pad might not be large enough to step onto directly from their trailer, they personally did not find this to be a major issue and appreciated their trailer being on concrete. They also mentioned never having experienced an incident or problem in the park and found the other residents to be friendly, akin to a state park campground in terms of neighborliness. This reviewer concluded that while Pleak RV Resort might not be a state park campground in terms of natural setting, it serves well for both overnight and year-long stays and encouraged potential visitors to form their own opinions by visiting the park.
However, another reviewer presented a starkly contrasting experience. This review advised readers to "drive further and pick another spot," citing several significant issues. A primary concern was that "the whole park wasn’t grated right," leading to water settling on each site. Poor drainage can create numerous problems, including muddy conditions, potential damage to RVs, and an unpleasant outdoor living space. This reviewer also criticized the planning of the concrete pads, stating that "whoever planned the concrete didn’t know the turning radius of trailers and big rigs," resulting in many people running off the pads and getting stuck in the "feet deep into black soil." This suggests potential difficulties in maneuvering larger RVs within the park and accessing sites. Furthermore, this reviewer claimed that the concrete pads were barely large enough for just the RV itself, potentially limiting usable space around the vehicle.
Adding to the negative feedback, the same reviewer described "many full timers that are very sketchy" and expressed confusion over positive reviews, alleging "trash everywhere not picked up." This paints a concerning picture of the park's overall environment and the behavior of some long-term residents. The subsequent comment about locking up bins and not leaving anything out at night further reinforces a sense of unease and potential security concerns raised by this reviewer.
Despite the predominantly negative tone of the second review, it did mention a couple of positives: "the guy checking in was nice" and "it was easy to book online." While a smooth check-in process and convenient online booking are certainly advantages, they may not outweigh significant concerns regarding the physical infrastructure and the overall environment of the park.
Considering these contrasting reviews, potential visitors searching for "RV parks near me" should approach Pleak RV Resort with caution and a willingness to investigate further. The positive review highlights friendly management and the benefit of concrete pads, which can be attractive features. However, the serious concerns raised about drainage issues leading to waterlogged sites, poorly planned concrete pads causing maneuvering difficulties and insufficient space, and allegations of a sketchy full-timer population and unkempt grounds cannot be ignored.
For local users considering Pleak RV Resort as one of their "RV parks near me," it would be highly advisable to visit the park in person before making a commitment. This would allow you to assess the drainage situation on the sites, evaluate the size and layout of the concrete pads in relation to your RV, and get a feel for the overall environment and the demeanor of the residents. If possible, speaking with current occupants could provide additional insights beyond the online reviews.
When comparing "RV parks near me," it's essential to weigh factors such as the quality of the infrastructure (including site grading and pad size), the amenities offered, the management's responsiveness, the overall safety and cleanliness of the park, and the sense of community. The conflicting reviews of Pleak RV Resort indicate potential shortcomings in some of these areas, particularly regarding the site planning and the general environment as perceived by at least one recent visitor.
Given the available information, it is difficult to ascertain any specific promotional offers for Pleak RV Resort. However, the contrasting opinions suggest that potential "promotions" might be overshadowed by the fundamental concerns raised by some reviewers. Therefore, instead of focusing on potential discounts, prospective guests should prioritize a thorough evaluation of the park's conditions and determine if it meets their essential needs and expectations for a comfortable and safe stay.
In conclusion, while Pleak RV Resort near Rosenberg, TX, boasts friendly management and the advantage of concrete pads, potential visitors searching for "RV parks near me" must be aware of the significant concerns raised by some reviewers regarding drainage issues, poorly planned and undersized sites, and a potentially negative overall environment. A personal visit and thorough inspection are strongly recommended before making a reservation or committing to a stay at Pleak RV Resort to ensure it aligns with your requirements and offers a satisfactory experience.

Pleak RV Resort Reviews
I can go anywhere and find something I don’t like so I don’t give 5 stars because this park is perfect. I give 5 stars because it has been perfect for me. Friendly owners and outstanding park manager. The entire park is concrete to include the slots and not having concrete big enough to step onto out of my trailer for me is no big deal. I appreciate my trailer being on concrete and don’t mind stepping in the grass. I have never had an incident or problem in the park and everyone I meet is friendly just as if I was camping at a state park. If you are looking for a state park campground this is not the place BUT if you need a place to stay for a night or a year Pleak RV Resort is the place for you. You can read someone’s emotional comment on here and not pick Pleak RV Reaort but if you drive here, 9 times out of 10 I think you would park your camper and enjoy your stay.

Feb 02, 2025 · Rashel HarrisI have some good and some not so good. Setting up reservations is easy they are very communicative. Apon arrival I notice they are still working on some things. Found a spot to set up and all was good. The ground around all sites have holes where the trenches for water sewer and electric have settled. I asked if they could be filled I offer to do it myself for the thought of they might be to busy. Lol. Well any work you see done in the pictures was done and paid for by me. No one obeys speed limits. They have used the parks narrow roads as a driving course. The grass has been cut and not left to grow high. Campground is far enough off the road that you do not here much road noise. The not so goods in this situation did not stop me from staying. I done a little to the yard to make it ok for us.
Nov 08, 2023 · Wes MartinI spent the last 2 months here and would like to leave my thoughts on the park. All new concrete sites straight and level. Nice, clean and new laundry and shower houses. I used a pull through for my car hauler and there is ample room for loading and unloading.I was able to park on the site next to mine as it was vacant at the time. Very quiet at night, close to Fort Bend County Fairgrounds, Seaborne Creek park and Highway 59. Both of the managers that assisted me were clear and helpful. I recommend this park.
