Pradera Introduce
For local users exploring "RV parks near me" with an interest in long-term residential options or those specifically seeking information about mobile home parks in Howe, Texas, this introduction provides an objective overview of Pradera, located at 709 N Collins Fwy, Howe, TX 75459, USA. Based on the available online reviews, Pradera appears to be a community that offers a pleasant living environment for many residents, characterized by its quiet atmosphere, friendly neighbors, and helpful staff. However, it is also important to note a specific incident regarding strict parking enforcement, which potential residents should be aware of.
One reviewer describes Pradera as a "Great place to live!" and highlights several positive aspects of the community. They mention a "Quiet community," which is a significant draw for individuals seeking a peaceful and tranquil living environment. The presence of "good neighbors" further contributes to a positive quality of life, fostering a sense of community and belonging among residents. The reviewer also praises the "great staff," specifically mentioning Rebecca for being "always so helpful with anything we need." This suggests that the management at Pradera is responsive and supportive of its residents, which can greatly enhance the overall living experience.
Furthermore, the positive review commends the "Maintenance staff" for being "on top of things and keep the neighborhood looking great!" This indicates that Pradera places importance on maintaining the aesthetic appeal and functionality of the park, contributing to a well-kept and pleasant environment for its residents. A well-maintained community can enhance residents' pride in their neighborhood and contribute to a higher quality of life.
In contrast to the positive feedback, another reviewer shares a negative experience regarding parking enforcement. They state, "My son’s car got towed because 1 wheel from his car was on the grass. Manager Nicole said this was a justified towing. As it’s says you can not have a car on the grass. Wow.$300 to get the car back." This incident highlights a strict enforcement of parking rules at Pradera, specifically regarding vehicles encroaching onto grassy areas. The significant cost of towing ($300 in this instance) underscores the importance for residents and visitors to be meticulously aware of and adhere to all parking regulations within the park. While the manager deemed the towing "justified" based on the stated rules, the reviewer's reaction ("Wow") suggests a level of surprise or dissatisfaction with the severity and cost of the enforcement.
Considering these two contrasting reviews, Pradera appears to be a mobile home park that offers a positive living experience for many, characterized by its quiet community, good neighbors, and helpful, efficient staff who maintain the grounds well. However, potential residents must be aware of and prepared to adhere strictly to all community rules, particularly those related to parking, as violations can result in significant financial penalties such as towing fees.

Pradera Reviews
I’ve never had a problem here, I’ve always loved to live here. My son’s car got towed because 1 wheel from his car was on the grass. Manager Nicole said this was a justified towing. As it’s says you can not have a car on the grass. Wow.$300 to get the car back.this is the photo from the tow company.
Nov 06, 2024 · BrentGreat place to live! Quiet community, good neighbors and great staff. Rebecca has always been so helpful with anything we need. Maintenance staff is on top of things and keep the neighborhood looking great!
Nov 10, 2023 · Susan TuckerVery nice staff. They allow small fences for your dogs, which is a plus. Lot Rent is $950 if you are purchasing your home, not sure what it would be if you are just renting. It's tough out here folks, good luck
Feb 17, 2025 · Tammy BagwellI have lived here for quite a while and never had a problem with parking my car in front of my house. Last night my car got towed at 9 pm because I moved it for 5 minutes. Don’t leave your car anywhere except your driveway or you’ll be charged an arm and a leg. The contract with the tow company is a scam and the management could care less.
Jul 19, 2024 · Emily GravesWe moved there April of 2023 and were forcednto move out when our lease ended in April 2024. We were not allowed to renew our lease and the only reason given was they do not rent properties anymore, which I know is not true. I see some for rent on the website. The street get very very deep potholes. There are two that started around Thanksgiving 2023 and are still there and only getting bigger. We had a cosignor and she was not financially responsible. We paid the security deposit equivilent to a full months rent and they claimed they were "required" to send it to the cosignor even though we paid the deposit and the rent the whole year we were there. We loved the home and the area, but the maintenance team was not very good. We requested them to fix a leaky faucet in February and they didnt come to fix it until mid April, about a week before we left, and it was still leaking when they "fixed" it. The water gets shut off at least 1 or 2 times a month due to repairs needed. My daughter misses her friends and all the stray cats and kittens around the trailer homes. We miss the area for her and our son.
