Pride Valley Mobile Home & RV Park Introduce
Are you searching for "RV parks near me" in the Malvern, Ohio area? Pride Valley Mobile Home & RV Park, located at 9147 Maple St NW, Malvern, OH 44644, presents a mixed landscape of long-term mobile home living with a limited number of spaces available for monthly RV campers. You can contact them at (234) 521-1616 or +1 234-521-1616 for inquiries about availability and terms for RV stays.
Based on the available customer reviews, Pride Valley Mobile Home & RV Park offers a somewhat contradictory experience. One reviewer describes it as a "nice mobile home park" with several positive attributes. They highlight the spaciousness of the lots and the quiet nature of the residents, which could be appealing to those seeking a peaceful environment. The convenience of curbside garbage pickup is also mentioned as a benefit. Importantly for RV travelers, this reviewer notes that the park does allocate "a few spots" for monthly campers, suggesting that it may be an option for individuals looking for extended stays in the area.
For RVers considering a monthly stay, the reviewer points out that setting up electric service will be necessary, and maintaining the grass on your rented lot will be the camper's responsibility. However, they suggest that the pricing for monthly RV camping at Pride Valley could be "much better & cheaper" compared to other campgrounds in the vicinity, potentially offering a more budget-friendly solution for long-term RV living. The availability of high-speed internet from a local provider is also mentioned as a significant advantage, which is often a crucial factor for travelers needing to stay connected for work or leisure.
However, another, significantly more critical review paints a starkly different picture of Pride Valley Mobile Home & RV Park. This reviewer expresses extreme dissatisfaction, stating they "would give no stars if I could" and labeling it "the most mismanaged and unmaintained trailer park ever." This strong negative sentiment raises serious concerns that potential residents, including monthly RV campers, should carefully consider.
The critical review alleges that the park is managed with a focus on a "retirement community" atmosphere, which purportedly leaves children with "nothing to do" and leads to them being reprimanded for trying to have fun. This suggests a potentially restrictive environment that might not be ideal for families with children, even for short-term monthly RV stays.
Furthermore, this reviewer claims that maintenance issues within the park are only addressed superficially ("half ass fix it"), and that lot rent is increased under the guise of improvements that are never actually completed. A specific and serious allegation is made regarding the park's inability to bring in more homes due to foundation issues on existing lots, yet rent was supposedly raised to address these issues without any subsequent action. This lack of follow-through on promised improvements is a significant concern regarding the park's management and financial practices.
The reviewer also details personal maintenance problems with their own trailer, including a sinking footer and a long-standing water leak that has caused sinkholes, which they claim have been ignored by management for three years. Even more concerning is the allegation that management is attempting to blame a tenant for the water leak and make them responsible for the repairs, highlighting a perceived pattern of "passing the buck off and sticking the tenants with paying for everything."
Based on this highly negative review, potential residents, including those considering monthly RV stays, should be wary of potential mismanagement, neglected maintenance, and unfair treatment. The discrepancy between the two reviews underscores the importance of conducting thorough due diligence before committing to stay at Pride Valley Mobile Home & RV Park.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" and considering Pride Valley for a monthly stay, it is crucial to weigh the potential for more affordable rates and spacious lots against the serious allegations of mismanagement and lack of maintenance. The availability of high-speed internet is a definite plus, but the potential for a restrictive environment and unresolved infrastructure issues could outweigh this benefit for many.
Given the conflicting information, it is strongly recommended that anyone considering Pride Valley Mobile Home & RV Park for monthly RV camping take the following steps:
- Contact the park directly: Speak with the management at (234) 521-1616 or +1 234-521-1616 to inquire specifically about their policies and rates for monthly RV campers. Ask detailed questions about utility hookups (especially electricity setup), grass maintenance responsibilities, and any other rules or regulations applicable to RV stays.
- Inquire about amenities for RV campers: Determine if there are any specific amenities provided for RV guests, such as laundry facilities, restrooms, or showers.
- Ask about maintenance procedures: Understand how maintenance requests are handled for RV lots and common areas.
- Visit the park in person: If possible, schedule a visit to inspect the RV camping area and the overall condition of the park. This will allow you to form your own impression of the environment and the upkeep of the grounds.
- Speak with current residents (if possible): If you have the opportunity, try to speak with current monthly RV campers or mobile home residents to get a more balanced perspective on the management and living conditions.
In conclusion, Pride Valley Mobile Home & RV Park offers a potential option for monthly RV camping in Malvern, Ohio, with the allure of spacious lots and potentially lower prices compared to traditional campgrounds, along with the benefit of high-speed internet access. However, serious concerns have been raised regarding the park's management and maintenance practices. Local users searching for "RV parks near me" should carefully consider both the positive and negative feedback and conduct thorough due diligence before making a decision to stay at Pride Valley Mobile Home & RV Park for an extended period.

Pride Valley Mobile Home & RV Park Reviews
Nice mobile home park. Lots are spacious and residents are quiet. They also have curbside garbage pickup. They do have a few spots they allow monthly campers to rent. You will have to set up electric and keep your grass cut, but for the price of other campgrounds this is a much better & cheaper option. High speed internet also available from local provider. That is the best part.
May 11, 2018 · she reddenWould give no stars if I could. The most miss managed and unmaintained trailer park ever. They treat it like a retirement community so the kids have nothing to do and get in trouble for trying to have fun. Every time there is an issue with the park they only half ass fix it and they up the lot rent for improvements, which they never follow through on. The state/ county won't let them move any more homes in the park because of the foundations on each lot, well our rent went up to fix them but guess what never happened, yep they didn't fix em. The footer under my trailer is sinking it of sight and there's a water leak behind my house that I've brought to they're attention for the past three years that has created sink holes around and under my trailer that they won't fix. Even more than not fixing it they're trying to blame a tenant and make them fix it, they're good at passing the buck off and sticking the tenants with paying for everything. So no I would never recommend this place to anybody trust me you'll regret every minute spent in this place.
