Tecumseh Village Introduce
Are you a local user in the Sebring, Ohio area searching for a long-term living community that might appear under the "RV parks near me" category? Tecumseh Village, located at 1005 Lake Park Blvd, Sebring, OH 44672, USA, is a manufactured home park offering residential options. You can reach them at (330) 523-6680 or their mobile number +1 330-523-6680 for inquiries.
Based on the provided customer reviews, Tecumseh Village presents a mixed picture. One reviewer describes it as a "nice place to live" with friendly people and "nice little trailers." They mention feeling safe raising a family there and appreciate the surrounding woods for exploration and a pond behind the park for fishing, including night fishing with campfires and stargazing. This reviewer also recounts an encounter with a beaver and humorously speculates about the possibility of Bigfoot in the area.
However, another reviewer strongly advises against moving to Tecumseh Village, citing concerns about "unhealthy trailers" being sold or rented out by owners who allegedly do not prioritize necessary repairs before occupancy. This review details several significant issues with a specific trailer, including water leaks in light fixtures (posing a fire risk), leaky windows and doors, holes in the flooring, a moldy smell, and questionable plumbing. The central air conditioning is described as a fire risk due to a malfunctioning blower, and other issues include upside-down outlets and crossed hot water lines. The reviewer also mentions low pay for the maintenance staff and the fact that the trailer they moved into had been vacant for 15 years. Based on these experiences, this reviewer strongly recommends against living at Tecumseh Village and would give zero stars if possible.
Environment:
Sebring, Ohio, is a village in Mahoning County, located in northeastern Ohio. The environment around Lake Park Boulevard likely includes a mix of residential areas and potentially some natural landscapes, given the proximity to a lake (implied by the street name). The positive review of Tecumseh Village highlights the presence of surrounding woods that offer opportunities for exploration and a pond located behind the park that residents can fish in. This suggests that the park benefits from a relatively natural setting, providing residents with access to outdoor activities and scenic views.
The mention of night fishing, campfires, and stargazing by one reviewer indicates that the area around the pond is conducive to enjoying the outdoors in the evening. The presence of wildlife, such as beavers, further supports the idea of a natural environment bordering the park.
Services and Amenities:
Based on the limited information and the contrasting reviews, the services and amenities at Tecumseh Village might include:
- Lot Rentals: Residents likely rent individual lots for their trailers or manufactured homes.
- Utility Hookups: Each lot would be equipped with connections for essential utilities such as water, sewer, and electricity. However, the negative review raises concerns about the functionality and safety of these utilities within some of the trailers.
- Trash Removal: The park would likely provide a system for trash collection.
- Road Maintenance: Internal roads within the community would be maintained for access.
- Pond Access: Residents have access to a pond located behind the park for fishing and possibly other recreational activities.
- Surrounding Woods: The park is bordered by woods that residents can explore.
- Maintenance Staff: The negative review mentions a maintenance man who is allegedly paid a low hourly rate, suggesting that maintenance services are available, although the quality and responsiveness are questioned.
The reviews do not mention other common amenities found in some mobile home parks, such as laundry facilities, recreational centers, or pet parks. The focus is on the natural environment and the condition of the individual living units.
Features:
The features of Tecumseh Village, based on the available reviews, present a dichotomy:
- Natural Setting: Proximity to woods and a fishing pond offers opportunities for outdoor recreation and enjoying nature.
- Sense of Community (Positive Review): Friendly people and a perceived safe environment for raising a family are mentioned by one reviewer.
However, the negative review highlights significant concerns that could overshadow these potential benefits:
- Potentially Unhealthy Living Conditions: Some trailers may suffer from water leaks, mold, and structural issues.
- Questionable Maintenance: Concerns about the quality and prioritization of repairs before occupancy.
- Potential Safety Hazards: Issues like water leaking into light fixtures and a malfunctioning central air unit pose safety risks.
This stark contrast in experiences suggests that the condition of individual trailers at Tecumseh Village may vary significantly.
Promotional Information:
The provided information does not include any details about promotional offers at Tecumseh Village. Given the serious concerns raised in one of the reviews about the condition of some rental units, it is difficult to speculate on any incentives that might be offered to attract new residents. To obtain the most current information about rental or purchase options and any potential promotions, it is essential to contact the management directly at (330) 523-6680 or +1 330-523-6680.
When you call, you should inquire specifically about:
- Availability of Trailers or Lots: Understand the options for renting or purchasing a home in the village.
- Condition of Available Units: Ask detailed questions about the age, condition, and any recent maintenance or repairs of the units you are considering.
- Rental or Purchase Costs: Obtain current pricing information and any associated fees.
- Maintenance Policies: Clarify the responsibilities of the park owners and residents regarding maintenance and repairs.
- Any Special Offers or Incentives: Inquire about any current promotions for new residents.
Given the significant negative feedback, prospective residents should exercise extreme caution and thoroughly inspect any potential living unit before committing to проживание at Tecumseh Village.
Resident Experiences:
The two available customer reviews offer drastically different perspectives on life at Tecumseh Village. One resident expresses positive feelings about the friendly community, the natural surroundings, and the safety of the environment. They highlight the recreational opportunities such as fishing and exploring the woods.
In stark contrast, the other review paints a dire picture of neglected and potentially hazardous living conditions within some of the trailers. The detailed account of water leaks, mold, structural damage, and malfunctioning utilities raises serious concerns about the habitability and safety of at least one unit. This reviewer also criticizes the park owners for allegedly renting out substandard trailers and the low pay of the maintenance staff, implying potential issues with the quality of maintenance across the park.
This extreme divergence in experiences suggests that the quality of living at Tecumseh Village may be highly variable, possibly depending on the specific trailer and the management's approach to maintenance and repairs for different units.
Conclusion:
Tecumseh Village in Sebring, OH, presents a location with potential natural appeal, including surrounding woods and a fishing pond, which might attract local users searching within the "RV parks near me" category for a long-term residence with outdoor access. While one reviewer describes a friendly and safe community in a pleasant setting, another provides a detailed and concerning account of severely neglected and potentially hazardous conditions within at least one of the rental trailers, along with criticism of the park owners' practices. This significant discrepancy in resident experiences indicates a high degree of variability in the living conditions within Tecumseh Village. Prospective residents are strongly advised to contact the management directly at (330) 523-6680 or +1 330-523-6680 to inquire about current availability and policies, and to insist on a thorough inspection of any potential living unit to ensure it meets acceptable standards of safety and habitability before making any commitment to reside at Tecumseh Village.

Tecumseh Village Reviews
It's a nice place to live. Very friendly people and nice little trailers to live in. I would feel safe raising my family here. There are nice woods that surround the park. Lots of places to explore. There is a nice pond that is behind the park you can fish at. We go night fishing. You can watch the stars and make a little campfire. A beaver hit the water with its tail when we were back there last time. It scared us away. Bigfoot could be back there. My boyfriend is big into Bigfoot and thinks we could possibly see him someday.
Dec 21, 2024 · Sarah WutrickDon't do it! That is my advice unless you want to move into an unhealthy trailer. Owners don't care if they are selling or renting out a trailer that should be condemned. With water leaking in the light fixtures on the celling,(fire risk) Windows and doors leak, holes in the flooring, moldy smell, plumming under the trailer well what's that? Apparently park owner don't think none of this needs to be fixed before moving someone into a trailer. Central air is a fire risk, the blower don't work unless you open it up and use a stick to turn on the fan. Outlits upside down, hot water lines crossed, plumming inside is awful, pay matence man only $10.00 an hour. I'm sure I left more out like finding out the place I moved into was empty for 15 years! And for thoes reason I would never ever recommend anyone to live here. And if I could give 0 stars I would. Not cool at all!!!
