Quail Ridge Manufactured Home Community Introduce
Welcome to Quail Ridge Manufactured Home Community, located at 935 E 3000 N #205 in Layton, Utah. Situated within the "RV parks near me" category, Quail Ridge presents itself primarily as a manufactured home community but may also offer accommodations for recreational vehicles. This introduction aims to provide local users with a detailed overview of the community based on available online reviews, highlighting its environment, services, features, and any pertinent considerations.
Based on recent customer feedback, Quail Ridge Manufactured Home Community appears to have a dedicated and helpful office staff, with a particular mention of Kateisha, the property manager, who is described as hardworking, dedicated, and family-oriented. Residents have noted her efforts in organizing activities for children and her approachable and understanding demeanor. The maintenance team, consisting of Corbin and his son, is also commended for their promptness and efficiency in addressing tasks. This positive feedback suggests a responsive and supportive management and maintenance presence within the community.
The location of Quail Ridge is highlighted as being near the mountains, offering potential scenic views and access to outdoor recreational opportunities that the Layton area and the Wasatch Front are known for. Additionally, the community features a pool, providing a welcome amenity for residents and potentially RV guests to cool down during the summer months. There are also park areas designated for child recreation, suggesting a family-friendly environment within the community.
For those considering Quail Ridge during the winter months, the reviews indicate that snow removal is handled effectively, which is a significant benefit for both residents and short-term visitors with RVs, ensuring safer navigation within the community during snowy conditions.
However, it is crucial to address a significant concern raised in one of the reviews regarding accessibility for individuals with mobility challenges, particularly those using wheelchairs. The reviewer detailed several accessibility issues, including:
- Sidewalks reported to be only 22 inches wide, which is insufficient to accommodate an electric wheelchair.
- Steep inclines making it difficult or impossible to get onto the sidewalks.
- Frequent obstruction of sidewalks by parked cars, further hindering mobility.
- Speed bumps on the side of the road that prevent wheelchair users from traveling safely.
- An alleged lack of responsiveness from management regarding requests to modify the speed bumps for wheelchair accessibility.
- Limited accessibility within the clubhouse, with access only to the office level and stairs leading to other areas without ramps. The reviewer noted needing to go outside and around the building to access the back of the clubhouse.
- Challenges in accessing common areas such as the mailbox and pool without using a car due to the aforementioned mobility barriers.
This detailed account raises significant concerns for potential residents or RV travelers who use wheelchairs or have other mobility impairments. The reviewer strongly advises elderly or disabled individuals to avoid the community based on these experiences, suggesting a perceived lack of consideration for accessibility needs by the management at the time of the review.
It is important to note that the positive feedback regarding the office staff and maintenance occurred alongside these serious accessibility concerns. This suggests a potential dichotomy in the experiences within the community, where some aspects, like staff support and certain amenities, are well-regarded, while others, particularly accessibility, present significant challenges.
For individuals searching within the "RV parks near me" category and considering Quail Ridge, it is imperative to inquire specifically about the accessibility of the RV sites, common areas, and pathways. While the positive reviews highlight aspects such as staff and amenities, the accessibility issues raised by another reviewer should not be overlooked, especially for those with mobility needs.
To gain a comprehensive understanding of Quail Ridge Manufactured Home Community and its suitability for your needs, whether as a long-term resident or a short-term RV visitor, it is recommended to:
- Contact the management directly at the provided phone number, (801) 771-0212 or +1 801-771-0212, to inquire about RV accommodations, accessibility features, and current policies.
- Specifically ask about the width and accessibility of sidewalks, the presence of speed bumps and their impact on mobility devices, and the accessibility of common areas like the clubhouse and pool.
- Inquire about the availability and features of RV sites, including hookups and any amenities specifically for RV guests.
- Seek updated reviews or information online to see if any of the reported accessibility issues have been addressed or if other visitors have shared similar or contrasting experiences.
- If possible, arrange a visit to the community to personally assess the environment and the accessibility of the facilities.
In conclusion, Quail Ridge Manufactured Home Community in Layton, Utah, offers a community with a well-regarded office and maintenance staff, a convenient location near the mountains, and amenities such as a pool and park areas. However, potential residents and RV visitors, particularly those with mobility challenges, must be aware of the significant accessibility concerns raised in a recent review. Thoroughly investigating the current state of accessibility within the community is crucial before making a decision. For those without mobility issues, the positive aspects of the staff and location may make Quail Ridge a viable option within the "RV parks near me" category, but direct communication with the management is essential to gather the most up-to-date and accurate information.

Quail Ridge Manufactured Home Community Reviews
If you are in a wheelchair, this is not the place for you. The sidewalks are only 22 inches wide which does not accommodate an electric chair. The way to get on the sidewalks is way too steep for a chair to even get onto the sidewalk. Not to mention that the sidewalk seems to always have cars parked on them so even if you could get the chair up onto the sidewalk you would have to risk life and limb to get off said sidewalk. You can't travel by the side of the road because they have speed bumps that prohibit the chair's ability to get over them. I have requested that they cut the speedbumps by 32" so it can fit my chair and they pretty much laughed it off. While you are able to use a wheelchair to get into the club house. Once you enter the clubhouse you can only go to the office and no further. There are stairs to get to the rest of it and no ramps to go further into the club house. If you wanted to go to the back of the clubhouse you have to go around the building and enter through the back. As someone who has recently become dependent on my chair for mobility, I can't go the mailbox or to the pool without getting into my car and going to get it. I'm working on trying to fix this with management and I will see how that goes.If your are elderly or disabled AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE! I say this because management prefers not to have to deal with us.
Feb 11, 2025 · Shi'No TenshiI stand corrected from previous reviews I left. The office staff is amazing. Shout out to Kateisha a very hard working property manager who is dedicated to her job and always on point. Always doing functions for the kids. Friendly and easy to deal with. Family oriented and understanding. Maintenance is on point and always moving to the next task. Corbin and t son. They are the best! Good location near the mountains. And offers a decent pool to cool down in the summer and park areas for child recreation. Snow removal is done effectively in the winter which is nice and very helpful. Staff is always there to help in any situation. I appreciate this place and am proud to call it home.
Jul 25, 2024 · James MartinI have lived here over 8 years and love this neighborhood. Corin is awesome! She is so kind, understanding and really helpful. The new manager is sweet as well. Makes sure to read the park rules in the contract that you sign and abide by them and you will be fine. Communication is key and there are many ways to reach them if they are not in the office. There are phone numbers and email addresses in your lease agreement and park rule packet as wells as posted on a sign next to the clubhouse door. I love the fun events they plan at the clubhouse! Would love to see more adult oriented events. Maybe a “Girls Night Out” and a “Couples Night Out” theme. My only complaint is that some residents need to be better parents and tenants. Allowing your kids to go to the pool unsupervised (which is against community policy) where they behave poorly causing a safety risk to themselves and others as well as destroying property resulting in the pool being shut down is quite atrocious. You are an inconvenience to those of us who actually parent our children and abide by the rules. I ask, respectfully, that if you do not take parenting or rules seriously, then please grace a different community with your presence…respectfully.
Jan 20, 2023 · Michelle CarterI would not suggest living here to anyone I've lived here 5 years about a month after moving in I started getting notices about everything and anything. And it's still going just about every week we get one for something new to the point I've given up trying to make the management happy. I can't wait till I can leave this place. The lot rent also goes up every year. It's ridiculous I almost don't even want to be home most of the time because of it.
Oct 26, 2023 · erica harrisThis place has ridiculous stipulations. And recently they are trying to enforce no guest or resident parking in front of the trailer or it will be towed. They say all parking must be done in the overflow parking lot that is barely enough for the residents on a normal day, so anyone who wants to visit a resident won’t have a place to park, and maybe even some residents that live here when a guest of another resident has taken one of the few spots that they have available. They also say overflow is 24 hours only, so me as a resident who has to park down at the overflow because there isn’t any space in the driveway can’t keep my car there over the weekend or I chance having my car towed. I do not recommend moving here and a good chunk of residents would agree. This place is unreasonable, you will regret moving here. All the neighbors around me agree that if they could they would leave but due to economical reasons they are stuck.
