Rancho Calimesa MHP Introduce
For individuals exploring "RV parks near me" in the Calimesa, California area with the potential for long-term residency, Rancho Calimesa MHP, located at the Recreation Center/Club House, 10320 Calimesa Blvd, Calimesa, CA 92320, USA, presents a mobile home park with both positive and concerning aspects highlighted by its residents. While not a traditional RV park for short-term stays, Rancho Calimesa MHP offers a community living environment within the city.
One recurring positive sentiment in the reviews is the high regard for the park's manager, Kathy, who is described as "the best manager ever." This suggests that residents generally have a positive relationship with the on-site management, which can be a significant factor in the overall quality of life within a mobile home park. A responsive and helpful manager can contribute greatly to resolving issues and fostering a positive community atmosphere.
Despite the positive feedback regarding the manager, concerns have been raised about the park's infrastructure, specifically the condition of the streets. One reviewer notes that "the streets need to be redone" and mentions a proposal by the park owners to charge each space an additional $25.00 per month for 15 years to fund these repairs. This suggests that the current state of the roads within Rancho Calimesa MHP is in need of significant improvement, potentially affecting the safety and convenience of residents and their vehicles. The fact that the new owners were reportedly aware of this issue upon purchasing the park and are now proposing to pass the cost of repairs onto the tenants is a point of contention for some residents.
Another infrastructure-related concern is that "the pool here is not heated." For residents who value swimming as a form of recreation or relaxation, an unheated pool may limit its usability, particularly during cooler months. This lack of a heated pool could be a drawback for those seeking amenities that can be enjoyed year-round.
Beyond the internal infrastructure, there are also concerns regarding the park owner's approach to information dissemination and tenant rights in relation to external developments. One detailed review describes an incident involving a development application being considered by the City next to the property. A developer held a public meeting within the park to present their plans to the residents. According to the reviewer, the park owner announced at the beginning of this meeting that guests invited by residents would not be allowed to speak. The residents had invited these guests because they possessed knowledge about a nearby warehouse that they believed would be important for other residents to know and present back to the developer to counter potential "developer spin." The park owner's decision to restrict the guests' participation raises concerns about transparency and the flow of information to the residents regarding matters that could potentially impact their living environment.
The reviewer interprets the park owner's actions as an attempt to "control the information that 'his people' (renters) get." This suggests a potential tension between the park owner and the residents regarding communication and the ability of residents to access and share information relevant to their community. Such a dynamic could create an environment of distrust and limit residents' ability to make informed decisions about their living situation and potential external impacts.
The statement "But its a nice park" from one reviewer, despite also mentioning the need for street repairs and the proposed fee, indicates that there are still positive aspects to living at Rancho Calimesa MHP. The sense of community, the location, or other unmentioned amenities might contribute to this overall positive sentiment, even in the face of infrastructure concerns and the issues raised regarding information control.
To gain a comprehensive understanding of Rancho Calimesa MHP, including specific amenities, current lot rental fees, the status of the street repair proposal, and any community guidelines regarding external development information, prospective residents are strongly encouraged to contact the management directly at (909) 795-4363 or +1 909-795-4363. Visiting the property at the Recreation Center/Club House, 10320 Calimesa Blvd, Calimesa, CA 92320, USA, would also provide a firsthand opportunity to assess the environment and the condition of the park's infrastructure.
In conclusion, Rancho Calimesa MHP in Calimesa, CA, offers a mobile home living environment with a well-regarded manager. However, potential residents should be aware of concerns regarding the condition of the streets and a proposed additional fee for repairs, as well as the fact that the pool is not heated. Additionally, the incident described regarding the park owner's handling of information sharing related to a nearby development application raises questions about transparency and tenant rights. While some residents find it to be a "nice park," it is crucial for prospective residents to conduct thorough due diligence and seek clarification on these issues to determine if Rancho Calimesa MHP aligns with their needs and expectations for long-term living.

Rancho Calimesa MHP Reviews
Be careful here. The park owner wants to control the information that "his people" (renters) get. There is a development application that being considered by the City next to the property. The developer held a public meeting at the park to convince renters that development is a good idea. At the beginning of the meeting, the park owner announced that guest of residents would not be allowed to speak, rather than graciously setting parameters for questions. Residents invited guest because those invited have knowledge about warehouse that would helpful for other residents to know and was important to be presented back at the developer (essentially to call out developer spin)
