Redstone RV Park (Formerly Mountain Breeze) Introduce
Welcome to Redstone RV Park, formerly known as Mountain Breeze, located at 3829 Hwy 231 in Laceys Spring, Alabama. For individuals searching for "RV parks near me" in the Laceys Spring area, particularly those seeking extended stays due to traveling work or other longer-term needs, Redstone RV Park presents itself as a facility undergoing a transition to cater primarily to recreational vehicles.
Feedback from individuals who have interacted with or stayed at Redstone RV Park offers a mixed perspective. One potential guest recounted a highly negative initial phone interaction with the owner while inquiring about monthly rental for their camper. This individual reported experiencing unprofessional and unwelcoming remarks, including alleged derogatory language and concerning statements regarding payment terms and perceived transient behavior. This account raises significant concerns about the hospitality and customer service provided by the management and should be a serious consideration for prospective guests.
In contrast, another reviewer shared a more positive experience, describing the owner as "very nice" and noting that the park is "always clean." This positive feedback also highlighted the presence of a wash house for laundry, which is a significant convenience for travelers, especially those on extended stays. The reviewer also indicated that the park is "good for extended stay, due to traveling jobs," suggesting that Redstone RV Park accommodates individuals who are in the area for temporary work assignments.
Furthermore, this positive review provided insight into the park's ongoing development, mentioning that it "used to be an old trailer park and is being converted to RV's." This transition implies that the infrastructure is being updated to better suit the needs of recreational vehicles. The reviewer specifically noted that the "Plumbing, Electric, Internet" were "all good," which are essential amenities for a comfortable and connected RV living experience. However, this reviewer also pointed out a potential drawback, stating that the park "is located on a busy road so, constant noise is common." This is an important environmental factor for prospective guests to consider, as noise levels can significantly impact their stay, particularly for those seeking peace and quiet.
Considering the platform category "RV parks near me," Redstone RV Park offers a facility that appears to be evolving to better serve the RV community, especially those needing accommodation for longer periods. The availability of a wash house and the reported good condition of essential utilities like plumbing, electricity, and internet are valuable features for extended stays. However, the reported issue of constant noise due to the busy road and the highly negative account of initial customer service are crucial factors that potential guests must weigh carefully.
Based on the available information, the services and features at Redstone RV Park (formerly Mountain Breeze) appear to include:
- Extended stay suitability: Catering to individuals needing accommodation for weeks or months, particularly those traveling for work.
- Full hookups: The mention of good plumbing and electric suggests that the sites offer full hookups for water, sewer, and electricity.
- Laundry facilities: A "wash house for laundry" is available for guest convenience.
- Internet access: Reliable internet service is reportedly provided.
- Cleanliness: The park is described as "always clean" by one reviewer.
- Ongoing conversion to RV sites: Indicating potential improvements and updates to the facilities.
However, potential guests should also be aware of the following potential drawbacks:
- Noise from a busy road: The park's location on Highway 231 may result in significant and constant traffic noise.
- Potentially negative customer service: One account described a highly unprofessional and unwelcoming interaction with the owner.
For individuals searching for "RV parks near me" in the Laceys Spring area, Redstone RV Park (formerly Mountain Breeze) offers a location that is suitable for extended stays and provides essential amenities like full hookups, laundry, and internet. However, the potential for significant noise due to its roadside location and the serious concerns raised about customer service are critical factors that require careful consideration. Prospective guests may want to contact the park directly to inquire about noise mitigation measures and to gauge the current management's approach to hospitality.
From a promotional standpoint, Redstone RV Park could highlight its suitability for extended stays, its clean environment, and the availability of essential amenities like laundry and reliable utilities. Emphasizing the ongoing improvements as it transitions to a dedicated RV park could also attract guests looking for a facility that is investing in its infrastructure. However, transparency regarding the noise from the busy road would be essential to manage guest expectations. Addressing and rectifying any issues with customer service would be paramount to building a positive reputation and attracting more visitors.
In conclusion, Redstone RV Park (formerly Mountain Breeze) in Laceys Spring, AL, presents a mixed picture for those seeking "RV parks near me." While it offers amenities suitable for extended stays and is reportedly clean with good utilities, its location on a busy road may lead to noise issues. Furthermore, a concerning account of unprofessional customer service from the owner warrants serious consideration. Prospective guests should weigh these factors carefully and consider contacting the park directly at (256) 498-2571 or +1 256-498-2571 to gather more information and assess whether this RV park meets their individual needs and expectations.

Redstone RV Park (Formerly Mountain Breeze) Reviews
My husband is a traveling pipe fitter with the union. We were brought to the area for a couple of months for a project they were working on, so my husband had me call around for somewhere to rent for our camper. The owner told me he didn’t rent to white trash from the area and told me that he would own my rv if we didn’t pay on time. He also stated he didn’t allow people who jump from park to park to avoid paying their lot rent and that I wouldn’t find anywhere in the area to go because of waiting to the last minute to find a lot. Mind you, all I did was ask about monthly rental for a lot while we are in the area! Needless to say, he needs lessons on hospitality. I wouldn’t stay there if it was the last place on earth!! The audacity of this man!!

Mar 12, 2025 · Kim DealWe are staying there while our house is being built close by. It is a nice, clean, safe place to stay. Tommy does a great job maintaining the park. The sites are level. There is a Food for Less grocery store and a Dollar General nearby (1/2 mile), and it is close to Huntsville and Arab, about 8 miles, in either direction.
Jan 14, 2024 · Rick MasonPeaceful & quiet. There isn't much there tho. They do have a washer & dryer. Close to Huntsville. 1 min from grocery and dollar store. The man that runs the place is absolutely the sweetest man. He has helped my kids with their bikes . Helped us when the electrical system in our RV went haywire. He is a very nice man. Most ppl here, live here and its very quiet. Nice place if you're wanting to relax.
Jun 25, 2018 · Ashley NolanCalled to see about long term rentals and he just kept going on amd on why he doesn't want to rent to people like me. Hmm I didn't even tell you why I was looking for a spot and then when I did you began to stutter because I can well afford your prices. I can't handle you judging me because of your past experiences. Unprofessional
