Great spot at the lake right on the water. Some spots are better than others but great neighborly vibes and beachs were great for the kids to enjoy and share with other kids. Would definitely go back. We explored the inside of the lake near our camp ground and some of the "prime" spots. We caught LOTS of lizards in the day time also.

Aug 20, 2024 · Arlex MenaCampground was nice! I will say it’s hard to access the lake from many of the campgrounds, have to climb a hill or walk really far and through someone else’s campsite. The campsites are also small and pretty close together, but we had one on the end which was nice and more spacious. There are only porta potties and no sinks, so make sure to bring your wet wipes and hand sanitizer.

Apr 29, 2025 · Nicole GutierrezThis was my first time camping here, and this place was absolutely awesome. Please disregard the negative reviews.I read them all and was honestly a little nervous as to what to expect, but it was all pushed aside upon the arrival of this wonderful lakeside campground. They have beer, ice, other refreshments, and are happy to help whenever they're available (we bought ice at 9:30 p.m., no problem). The campground hosts/associates are beyond nice and inviting. I would absolutely go camping here again. Memorial Day 2024 was one for the books!
