You can reach them for inquiries or reservations at (936) 967-0101 or +1 936-967-0101. Based on recent customer reviews, Blue Sky Lake Livingston RV Park & Cabins is generally well-regarded for its cleanliness, quiet atmosphere, and friendly staff, though some aspects, such as the availability of shade and picnic tables at certain RV spots, are worth noting.
The environment of Blue Sky Lake Livingston RV Park & Cabins is described as an "adventure" by one reviewer, particularly highlighting the "uniquely designed" cabins. This suggests that the cabin accommodations offer a distinctive and appealing aesthetic, potentially enhancing the overall experience for those choosing this option. The proximity to Lake Livingston is also a significant environmental feature, with one guest mentioning that "the water was great at night" and enjoying the relaxation of fishing by the water, even without catching anything. This indicates that the park provides access to the lake, allowing guests to partake in lakeside activities and enjoy the natural beauty of the area.
The campground itself is noted for being "clean and orderly" and "very quiet," which are significant positives for those seeking a peaceful and well-maintained environment for their stay. The location is also described as being "in a good location between the lake and town," offering a balance between natural surroundings and accessibility to local amenities. This suggests that guests can easily access the attractions of Lake Livingston as well as the conveniences of Livingston without feeling too remote.
Blue Sky Lake Livingston RV Park & Cabins caters to families, with one reviewer explicitly stating that it "is a great family spot." This implies that the park offers an environment and potentially amenities that are suitable for guests of all ages, making it a good option for family vacations or getaways.
In terms of services and features, the park does have some areas that have received specific feedback. One reviewer in a short-timer RV spot was "a little disappointed at the fact that there were no picnic tables." This lack of picnic tables at the "newer, non-shaded" RV spots located near the entrance is a point of consideration for those planning a short stay in these areas. However, the reviewer did note that the park's literature indicated that picnic tables are "coming soon," which suggests that this amenity is planned for the future. Potential guests staying in these newer spots may want to inquire about the current status of the picnic table installation.
Another significant environmental factor to be aware of is the issue of shade. One reviewer pointed out that there are "a ton of long term (permanent) residents that get to enjoy all the shaded areas." In contrast, the "regular spots" are described as "newer campground locations without trees," meaning that during the summer, guests in these areas should "be prepared to bake." This lack of shade in the newer RV spots is a crucial consideration for those planning to visit during the hotter months. However, for stays during cooler times of the year, such as the beginning of November when one reviewer visited, this was "very pleasant." Guests planning summer visits might want to inquire specifically about the availability of shaded spots or come prepared with their own shade solutions.
Despite these limitations, the staff at Blue Sky Lake Livingston RV Park & Cabins are consistently praised. One reviewer mentioned that "the staff my wife talked to was very pleasant and helpful." Positive interactions with staff can significantly enhance the overall guest experience, making visitors feel welcome and supported during their stay.
The general sentiment from the reviews is positive, with one reviewer stating, "We did enjoy our stay and will likely be back in the future." Another concluded by saying, "Definitely check them out. With a few minor tweaks to this place, it will be 5 stars." These comments suggest that while there are some areas for improvement, the overall experience at Blue Sky Lake Livingston RV Park & Cabins is enjoyable and that the park has the potential to be even better with some minor enhancements.

Given the variety of accommodation options and the park's location near Lake Livingston, it would be beneficial to ask about any seasonal promotions or deals for families.
In conclusion, Blue Sky Lake Livingston RV Park & Cabins offers a welcoming environment with unique cabin rentals and RV sites in a convenient location near Lake Livingston and the town of Livingston. The park is praised for its cleanliness, quiet atmosphere, and friendly staff. While some of the newer RV spots currently lack picnic tables and shade, these are points that the management seems to be addressing. The availability of lake access and the park's family-friendly nature make it an attractive option for those seeking "RV parks near me" in the Lake Livingston area. Blue Sky Lake Livingston RV Park & Cabins Reviews
This place was an adventure. We loved the cabin. Uniquely designed. The water was great at night. I didn't catch anything while fishing but I was so relaxed by the water. Blue Sky Lake Livingston RV Park & Cabins is a great family spot.
Apr 08, 2025 · Michael GreerStayed there over a Friday- Monday (long weekend) and thought the park was nice. I was a little disappointed at the fact that there were no picnic tables for the short timer RV spots. These are the newer, non-shaded, spots directly when you come in the entrance and just past the camp check-in. I did noticed in their literature that the picnic tables are "coming soon", which is good. I just do not want people to be caught off guard when they arrive. As far as the the camp ground goes it was clean and orderly. Very quiet and in a good location between the lake and town. I will say that there are a ton of long term (permanent) residents that get to enjoy all the shaded areas. So if you gonna be here during the summer and in a regular spot, you better be prepared to bake like most newer campground locations without trees. But for the time of year we were here (beginning of Nov.) it was very pleasant. We did enjoy our stay and will likely be back in the future. We will just be choosing to stay when its not 100° outside unless we can secure a shaded spot somehow.Definitely check them out. The staff my wife talked to was very pleasant and helpful. With a few minor tweaks to this place, it will be 5 stars
Nov 10, 2023 · BrandonNice park but we got off to a rocky start. Check-in is 3:00 which is an hour later than most campgrounds. We made sure not to arrive early. The office was closed. We joined a family waiting to check in and waited for a half hour. Called the office number, no answer. My husband decided to walk around the campground hoping to find a host/employee. 40 minutes after arriving he saw an individual coming out of their rig that worked at the park but they weren't coming to open the office. They were getting ready to leave the park. They did stop long enough to register everyone waiting. Finally 45 minutes after arriving we were registered. The kicker is the office can be seen from their site! In the first 45 minutes of setting up the circuit breaker at the pedestal tripped 3 times. Office was again closed. After the breaker was replaced the rest of our stay went well.
Apr 21, 2025 · Jan BrownI've stayed here twice while on business in Livingston and the lack of business travel options in the city makes this a good alternate choice. I've stayed in both a bungalow as well as a cottage and found both super clean and comfortable. As a business traveler, I never pack things like a hair dryer or an iron, etc since they're always available in the room. Neither cabin had a hair dryer, but the cottage did have an iron and ironing board. The bungalow did not. The wifi worked perfectly, and I was able to sign into my streaming services without issue, so working in each cabin was easy. The overall environment is quiet and located close to restaurants / stores, etc. Blue Sky provides an affordable, in-city option for those travelers that don't want to commute from the big chains whose nearest locations are Lufkin or Huntsville. Would stay again!
Dec 11, 2023 · Stacey SpanglerIf I could give zero stars I would. They allowed for my child to bullied and falsely accused by ADULTS, and then evicted us as if WE were the problem. I've never dealt with such unprofessional behavior, and it's truly sad.Definitely would not recommend living or visiting here if you have children. Especially if you prefer to keep to yourself.
