Regency Lakes Introduce
Located at 216 Regency Lakes Dr, Winchester, VA 22603, USA, Regency Lakes is identified as a mobile home park. For individuals in the Winchester, Virginia, area who are searching for "RV parks near me," it is important to consider the characteristics of this community and how they align with the needs of recreational vehicle travelers. While mobile home parks primarily offer long-term residency options for manufactured homes, some might occasionally accommodate RVs for varying periods. A thorough understanding of the environment, potential services, and features of Regency Lakes is crucial for anyone exploring their RV parking options in the Shenandoah Valley region. However, it is also essential to objectively consider the feedback provided by current residents regarding their experiences within the community.
The environment of Regency Lakes, based solely on its address, suggests a location within the vicinity of Winchester, Virginia. Winchester is situated in the northern part of the Shenandoah Valley, known for its scenic beauty and historical significance. While specific details about the immediate surroundings of Regency Lakes, such as landscaping within the community, proximity to natural attractions, or the overall ambiance, are not detailed in the provided information, the region offers access to outdoor activities, historical sites, and the natural landscapes of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Shenandoah River Valley. However, it is important to juxtapose this general regional context with the specific experiences reported by residents within Regency Lakes itself.
Information regarding specific services and amenities tailored for RVs at Regency Lakes is not available in the provided data. Typically, mobile home parks offer essential utilities like water, electricity, and sewage hookups at individual lots for their long-term residents. If Regency Lakes were to accommodate RVs, it would be important to ascertain whether suitable hookups are available and what the electrical capacity (e.g., 30 amp or 50 amp) might be. Basic services such as waste disposal would likely be in place. However, it is uncertain whether the park offers amenities commonly found in dedicated RV parks, such as laundry facilities for transient guests, recreational areas specifically for RVers, or organized activities. Given its primary function as a mobile home park, the infrastructure is likely geared towards long-term residential use.
Features of Regency Lakes would primarily be oriented towards accommodating mobile homes. These would typically include individual lots of varying sizes, internal roadways for access within the park, and potentially a management office. For RV users, the relevant features would be the availability of sites that can accommodate RVs of different dimensions, the ease of maneuvering within the park, and the presence of necessary utility connections. However, the customer reviews provide insights that significantly impact the perceived features of this community. One review mentions that residents "seem not to care about how their property looks outside," suggesting a potential lack of aesthetic upkeep within the community. Another review points out a lack of "exceptional walk ways for children/teens to walk home from school" and notes that existing walkways are "riddled with goose poop or cat poop," indicating potential issues with general cleanliness and infrastructure.
The customer reviews contain serious concerns that potential visitors, including RVers, should consider. One long-term resident of almost eight years reports that "the crime rate has really increased" and expresses a strong recommendation to "really run from this place if you are considering buying or renting here." This raises significant questions about the safety and security within Regency Lakes. Furthermore, the same review mentions that "the lot fee has increased to a point where it is almost impossible to pay each month, and for what?" suggesting potential issues with the cost of residency relative to the perceived value or upkeep of the community.
Another review alleges "some sort of discrimination" and a "very much power trip and abuse power over others" by those running the place. The reviewer claims false accusations and a lack of action against "real perpetrators," further painting a concerning picture of the management and community dynamics. The observation about unsafe or unclean walkways for children also contributes to a negative assessment of the living environment. These reviews collectively suggest potential challenges related to management, safety, community upkeep, and resident relations within Regency Lakes.
Promotional information specifically targeting RV users for Regency Lakes is not included in the provided data. Given the serious concerns raised in the customer reviews, it is unlikely that the park would be actively promoting itself without addressing these issues. For individuals who might still consider Regency Lakes as a potential option for RV stays (perhaps due to location or other personal reasons), it is absolutely crucial to contact the park management directly using the provided phone numbers: (888) 525-5435 or +1 888-525-5435. Inquiries should be very detailed and should directly address the issues raised in the reviews, such as safety measures, community upkeep plans, management policies regarding visitors and residents, and the availability and suitability of RV sites, including utility hookups and rates.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in Winchester, VA, the information available for Regency Lakes presents a cautionary picture. While it is geographically located within the area, the negative feedback regarding safety, management, and community environment should be carefully considered. It would be prudent to thoroughly investigate these concerns directly with the management and, more importantly, to explore other dedicated RV parks or campgrounds in the Winchester region that may offer a more positive and secure experience with better amenities and community management. The serious nature of the allegations in the reviews warrants significant caution for anyone considering a stay at Regency Lakes, whether short-term in an RV or as a long-term resident.
In conclusion, Regency Lakes in Winchester, VA, is a mobile home park located at 216 Regency Lakes Dr. While it exists within the geographical area relevant to searches for "RV parks near me," the limited information available is overwhelmingly negative. Customer reviews cite concerns about increased crime rates, poor property upkeep by residents, escalating lot fees, alleged discrimination and abuse of power by management, and unsafe or unclean walkways. For local users seeking RV parking, Regency Lakes should be approached with extreme caution. Thorough direct inquiry with management is essential to address the serious concerns raised. It is strongly recommended that individuals also explore alternative, more positively reviewed RV parks and campgrounds in the Winchester, VA, area to ensure a safe, comfortable, and positive experience.

Regency Lakes Reviews
my husband and I have lived here almost 8 years and have seen property managers come and go like the seasons. the crime rate has really increased as well. people who live here seem not to care about how their property looks outside. the lot fee has increased to a point where it is almost impossible to pay each month, and for what? I would really run from this place if you are considering buying or renting here.
Apr 09, 2025 · Marion DavidsonPeople who run this place have some sort of discrimination, and very much power trip and abuse power over others. They falsely accuse, don’t go after the real perpetrators and don’t take actual actions. There’s no exceptional walk ways for children/teens to walk home from school and if there is it’s riddled with goose poop or cat poop.
Apr 17, 2025 · TeaIf I could give 0 stars I would !! For anyone looking for a place to live ,This is certainly not the best option. To begin with the management workers are extremely difficult and Rude. The new manger is horrible. Ever since Katherine and Tona left that place has went down hill. Anyways , I lived there for 5yrs no issues until August 2024. I receive a letter starting they didn’t want to lease the ground to me anymore. I had 90 days to sell my home and find a place for my family to live. I have 4 kids mind you !! Then I call up to the office I ask them to help me sell my place Cam says okay I’ll help. Then 30days before my move out date he says it’s a conflict of interest he can’t help me anymore. So I basically had to give my trailer away. Which was very unfair I paid my lot rent every month on time. Never had any issues with the neighbors or anyone in the Community I minded my business. I still don’t understand how you can just not renew something when the person hasn’t done anything wrong.Lastly , they make their own new rules to follow which are unfair. Lot Rent has increased triple the amount it was if not more !! All of the office staff are very rude and ignored. I highly recommend not living in this community !! IF YOU HAVE KIDS THIS IS NOT THE COMMUNITY FOR YOU.

Mar 18, 2025 · Nun YahWorst place to own a home in. Don’t let nothing happen because they will attempt to steal your home and make it very difficult to sell it. Don’t die either because they will attempt to steal it. And of course the law is always on their side. It’s a cesspool too. Trash everywhere. It was a nightmare for me and my daughter and not of our doing. They made it a nightmare. No stars from me.
