Richland Meadows Introduce
Welcome to Richland Meadows, a mobile home park located at 232 Yankee Rd, Quakertown, PA 18951, USA. For individuals searching for "RV parks near me" or considering a mobile home community in the Quakertown area, Richland Meadows presents a location with a notable history of transformation and ongoing development. You can reach them at (215) 536-6084 or +1 215-536-6084 for inquiries.
According to a long-term resident who spent eleven years working for Modern Homes within the park, Richland Meadows has undergone a significant positive change over approximately eighteen years. This reviewer notes a transition from what was described as a "drug haven" to a "respectable place to live." This transformation suggests a dedicated effort towards improving the overall environment and safety within the community.
Further emphasizing this commitment to maintaining a certain standard of living, the review mentions a minimum credit score requirement of 650 for residents. This policy is explicitly stated as a measure to keep out "UNDESIRABLES," indicating a focus on fostering a responsible and stable community environment. Such criteria are often implemented in residential communities to promote a sense of security and shared values among residents.
The same long-term resident also highlights ongoing infrastructure upgrades within Richland Meadows. This suggests that the owners are actively investing in the park's facilities and amenities, which can contribute to a more comfortable and sustainable living environment for all residents. These upgrades are a positive indicator of the management's commitment to the long-term well-being of the community.
From the perspective of this reviewer, Richland Meadows, being a privately owned and maintained park, is considered an excellent place to retire. A significant advantage cited is its convenient location, being only approximately 30 minutes away from major healthcare facilities such as Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN), Jefferson Health, and Cedar Crest Blvd. The reviewer considers this area's hospitals to be the "by far Best Hospital in out area !!!," making Richland Meadows an attractive option for retirees who prioritize access to quality medical care.
However, it is important to consider another perspective from a more recent review. This individual expresses dissatisfaction with certain aspects of living in Richland Meadows, particularly regarding increasing rent and perceived diminishing services. The reviewer notes that despite annual rent increases, they feel they are receiving less in return. A significant concern raised is a change in policy regarding children's outdoor play items, which are now reportedly discouraged outside, leading to a feeling that the community is trying to emulate a 55 and older environment despite not being officially designated as such.
Furthermore, this reviewer expresses negative feedback regarding the maintenance of the grounds. They mention a specific issue of rebar in their backyard that has allegedly remained unaddressed for two years despite repeated requests for removal. This contrasts with the positive comments about infrastructure upgrades and suggests potential inconsistencies in maintenance across the park.
The restrictions on children's outdoor items, specifically mentioning a child's slide on their own deck, have led this reviewer to advise families with children against moving to Richland Meadows. They perceive the management's approach as overly restrictive and not conducive to family living. The comment about it feeling like "communism" reflects a strong sense of dissatisfaction with the perceived limitations and lack of responsiveness to their concerns.
Considering both perspectives, Richland Meadows presents a complex picture. On one hand, there is a history of positive transformation, ongoing infrastructure improvements, and a strategic location offering convenient access to healthcare facilities, making it potentially appealing for retirees and those prioritizing a more controlled community environment. The credit score requirement suggests an effort to maintain a certain level of resident stability.
On the other hand, there are concerns regarding increasing costs, perceived declining services, and policies that may not be family-friendly. The discrepancy in maintenance experiences also warrants consideration. Potential residents, especially those with children, should carefully weigh these factors and seek clarification on current policies and community guidelines.
For individuals actively searching within the "RV parks near me" category, Richland Meadows, while primarily a mobile home park, offers long-term residency options. The emphasis on infrastructure upgrades might also extend to amenities that could be relevant to RV living, although specific details would need to be confirmed with the management.
To gain a comprehensive understanding of the current living conditions, amenities, and policies at Richland Meadows, it is highly recommended to contact the management directly at the provided phone numbers. Prospective residents should inquire about current rental rates, community rules, maintenance procedures, and any specific amenities offered. Visiting the park in person can also provide valuable insights into the environment and upkeep of the grounds.
In conclusion, Richland Meadows in Quakertown, PA, offers a community with a history of positive change and ongoing infrastructure development. Its proximity to major healthcare facilities is a significant advantage. However, potential residents should also be aware of the concerns raised regarding increasing costs, perceived service decline, and policies that may impact families with children. A thorough investigation and direct communication with the management are crucial steps for anyone considering making Richland Meadows their home.

Nov 10, 2024 · Tom HoffnerLooking at moving. Rent increases every year and every year we get less and less and now they don't even want kids stuff outside. They want it to look like a 55 and older community when it's not. The do nothing to maintain the grounds. I've been asking to have rebar removed from my back yard for 2 years now and they just say we'll leave even though it looms horrible but then have the nerve to tell me my kids can't have there little slide ON TOP of my deck. If you have kids definitely don't move here. If you like communism then this may be the place for you
Mar 25, 2024 · Brittany DouglasIs a nice quiet place to live. If you enjoy country living, then you will like it. Also everything you need is within 2 miles.
Mar 14, 2024 · Minister Daniel FreyWanted 650 credit score no cosigner accepted for a 2000 dollar trailer not sure if I'll be able to buy it. So I have the two grand, but I'm not ALLOWED in the park. If I had perfect credit, and plenty of money I wouldn't want to live In a TRAILER PARK
Nov 25, 2021 · Sean AndrewI purchased almost 4 years ago. Rent each year increased much much more than told when I purchased.
