River Ridge Introduce
If you are searching for mobile home parks or potentially long-term RV living options in the San Marcos, Texas area, River Ridge Mobile Home Park, located at 1005 River Rd, San Marcos, TX 78666, is a community that warrants consideration within the "rv parks near me" platform category. You can contact them at (737) 234-5754 or +1 737-234-5754 for inquiries about their current availability, lot rents, and community features. However, it is important to note that the publicly available reviews present a mixed perspective, highlighting both potential advantages and significant drawbacks.
One reviewer described River Ridge as "very quiet & peaceful," suggesting that the community may offer a tranquil living environment. They also noted that there are "mostly nice mobile homes" within the park, which could indicate a generally well-maintained aesthetic throughout the community. This positive feedback regarding the quiet atmosphere and the appearance of the homes might be appealing to individuals seeking a calm and stable residential setting.
Furthermore, the same reviewer mentioned a strong sense of safety within River Ridge. They specifically stated, "We feel safe here letting my 9-year-old niece walk home from the bus stop, & safe in general." This perception of security is a significant factor for many when choosing a place to live, particularly for families with children. The feeling of safety and security can contribute greatly to the overall quality of life within a community.
However, this positive feedback is contrasted by a very negative review from another individual who described River Ridge as the "worst place to rent." This reviewer alleged that damages to their rented home over several years were never addressed by the management. They also stated that "roaches are a norm there," indicating a potentially significant pest control issue within the community. Additionally, this reviewer advised others to "get use to" existing damages and to expect frequent violations being imposed upon residents.
The reviewer who found the park quiet and peaceful also pointed out a significant drawback regarding the lot sizes and spacing of the mobile homes. They mentioned that the homes are "packed so tightly in here that we don't really have a yard, or much room at all to build a fenced-in area for the dogs." This lack of personal outdoor space and the close proximity of neighbors could be a major concern for individuals who value privacy, enjoy gardening, or have pets that require outdoor areas. The reviewer concluded that if one doesn't mind the limited space and close neighbors, it could be a great park to live in, highlighting that these are crucial factors to consider.
Considering these contrasting reviews, prospective residents need to carefully weigh the potential benefits of a quiet and seemingly safe environment against the serious allegations of unaddressed maintenance issues, pest problems, and cramped living conditions. The negative experiences reported by one reviewer should not be dismissed and warrant further investigation by anyone considering living at River Ridge Mobile Home Park.
For local users actively searching within the "rv parks near me" category and considering River Ridge Mobile Home Park for long-term living, it is strongly recommended to contact the management directly to inquire about their policies on maintenance, pest control, and lot sizes. It would also be beneficial to visit the property in person to assess the environment, the spacing between homes, and the overall condition of the community. If possible, speaking with current residents (beyond the limited reviews available online) could provide further insights into the day-to-day living experience at River Ridge.
Given the serious nature of the allegations in one of the reviews, particularly regarding unaddressed damages and pest infestations, prospective residents should proceed with caution and conduct thorough due diligence before committing to living in this community. Understanding the management's responsiveness to resident concerns and their commitment to maintaining a healthy and well-maintained living environment is crucial for a positive long-term living experience.
While the community may offer a quiet atmosphere and a sense of safety for some residents, the potential drawbacks of limited personal space, close neighbors, and the reported issues with maintenance and pests are significant factors that should not be overlooked. Therefore, it is essential for interested parties to prioritize direct communication with River Ridge Mobile Home Park to gain a comprehensive understanding of the current conditions and management practices. Visiting the property and, if possible, speaking with current residents are highly recommended steps in the decision-making process.
In conclusion, River Ridge Mobile Home Park in San Marcos, TX, presents a mixed profile based on the available online reviews. While some residents appreciate its quiet environment and sense of safety, others have reported significant issues with maintenance, pest control, and limited personal space. Local users searching for "rv parks near me" or mobile home options in this area should carefully consider these points and conduct thorough personal investigation before making a commitment. Contacting the management at (737) 234-5754 or +1 737-234-5754 is a crucial first step in gathering the necessary information to determine if River Ridge Mobile Home Park is the right fit for your needs.

Dec 04, 2018 · Patricia MartinezFor some reason there are always “fixing a water line” taking hrs to fix it and if power went out you’ll will be the last ones to get it back on . 10hrs whit no power and it’s ONLY THIS NEIGHBORHOOD
May 10, 2024 · Jonathan RosalesLet me give you a true review from someone who lives there. The comment below is from the new manager. HORRIBLE...don't do it. New management company every other month. Issues that are NEVER corrected. Poor customer service. No concern for residents at all. My water bill is higher than my electricity and trash combined and they are increasing it again by 9% in the coming month. Neighbors are not required to clean their lots and leave trash bins on the road. Lots of feral cats. Bad smell from the wastewater plant down the road. They also just increase lot rent. So...they charge more, but give nothing back to the residents. TO UPDATE...They do community water billing. Currently for water they charge a rate of .87207. The city charges them .00388. For sewer they charge a rate of .95173. The city charges them .007360. An extra way for them to make money.
Oct 25, 2018 · Tamika MerazLet me start with this.. I been waiting for over 3 month now for my deposit mind you I left the place ready to move in.. had a video to proved I even had one staff member Jessica go before I give the keys check the place and she even said you definitely getting your deposit, ha! Big lie! Now made a complaint directly with the texas realtor commission. They where very helpful. Anyhow ppl dont let this ppl run over u.. I had called in a day maybe 32Times no answers thank God for phone bills was able to provide all the times that I called and with who i talk that day and provide that in my complaint with the realtor commission. I really dont think this management ppl had any license to operate this place. If you decide to rent here prepare yourself for hell! Tabatha it's the worse manager ever.. n her employees are doing just what she wants.. gives the runs around monitor the calls so they dont answer.. completely unprofessional! I wish I can remove that star but was the only way to write this review!
