Rodeo Mobile Estates Introduce
Located at 100 N Rodeo Gulch Rd in Soquel, California, Rodeo Mobile Estates offers a well-regarded residential community for mobile homeowners. While the platform category is "RV parks near me," it is important to understand that Rodeo Mobile Estates primarily functions as a long-term residential park rather than a short-term accommodation for recreational vehicles. Therefore, individuals seeking temporary RV parking in Soquel should explore other options. However, for those interested in purchasing a mobile home and residing in a community known for its supportive management, friendly residents, and well-maintained environment, Rodeo Mobile Estates presents an excellent opportunity.
Based on the available customer reviews, Rodeo Mobile Estates stands out for several positive attributes. One reviewer mentions the existence of "Several parks," with their specific park being "rent-controlled" and featuring "solar" power metered through the park. This suggests that at least some sections of the broader mobile home community associated with Rodeo Mobile Estates offer the stability of rent control and the potential for energy efficiency through solar power, which can be significant advantages for long-term residents.
The same reviewer praises the management as "reliable and supportive," providing a specific example of their responsiveness: they proactively performed a significant asphalt patch in front of the resident's home, costing at least $1200, three months before a total driveway replacement, solely to address a water pooling hazard. This demonstrates a commitment to resident safety and well-being, even when a more comprehensive solution was planned for the near future. The reviewer notes that the management, associated with "Waterhouse management," is continuously working on removing rent restrictions, but they still maintain the park well, indicating a dedication to the upkeep of the community despite potential future changes in rent control.
Interestingly, this reviewer also mentions a connection to another park located on 26th Avenue, whose "backyard opens to the Moran Park eucalyptus grove." While not explicitly stating that this park is part of Rodeo Mobile Estates, it suggests a potential association or a nearby sister community that benefits from the natural beauty of Moran Park. The eucalyptus grove likely provides a pleasant environment and potential for wildlife viewing.
Regarding Rodeo Gulch specifically, the reviewer notes that it is "more cosmetically appealing" and has "a very strong and supportive community." This highlights the aesthetic appeal and the positive social environment within Rodeo Mobile Estates on Rodeo Gulch Road. A strong and supportive community fosters a sense of belonging and enhances the quality of life for residents.
Another resident who moved to Rodeo Mobile Estates in October 2020 expresses their strong satisfaction: "I really love my new place in the park. It’s peaceful quiet relaxing and I have a really nice place toward the top of the park. Friendly people and lots of really nicely kept yards." This firsthand account corroborates the earlier reviewer's comments about a quiet environment and friendly residents. The mention of "nicely kept yards" further reinforces the impression of a well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing community where residents take pride in their surroundings.
The combined feedback paints a picture of Rodeo Mobile Estates as a desirable residential mobile home park in Soquel, characterized by supportive management, a strong sense of community, a peaceful environment, and well-maintained properties. Rodeo Mobile Estates Reviews
Several parks. Ours is rent-controlled and our Park's power is solar and metered thru the park. I have found management to be reliable and supportive. They even did a great patch on the asphalt in front of our place ($1200 at least) 3 months before a total replacement of all driveways. They did this because of a water pooling hazard. They easily could have waited. Waterhouse management so they are always working on removing rent restrictions but they still maintain the park well. Our park is on 26th and Park's backyard opens to the Moran Park eucalyptus grove. The park on Rodeo Gulch is more cosmetically appealing and has a very strong and supportive community. The best choice for a mh owner is a co-op owned by park residents where increases are only for maintenance rather than profits. But Rodeo Gulch has been good to us.
