Based on recent customer reviews, this park offers a blend of natural beauty, spacious sites, and a welcoming atmosphere, making it a compelling option for both overnight stays and longer visits. While it's a newer establishment with ongoing improvements, the positive feedback suggests a promising experience for RV travelers and campers alike.
One recent visitor who stayed in January 2024 provided a detailed account of their one-night pull-through experience. They highlighted several notable "PROS," including "very large sites" that offer ample space and privacy. The presence of "beautiful trees" is another significant advantage, suggesting a picturesque and potentially shaded environment, true to the park's name. The reviewer also noted the park's quiet ambiance, making it an ideal retreat for those seeking peace and relaxation. Despite a last-minute reservation, the "owner was courteous," indicating a friendly and accommodating management style. Furthermore, the fact that the "hookups all new" suggests reliable and up-to-date utility connections for RVs.
However, this reviewer also pointed out a couple of "CONS." The lack of "lights at the entry driveway or on the road signage" made it challenging to locate the park after dark, leading to some initial difficulty in finding the entrance. The owner reportedly mentioned this as a "temporary issue regarding entry lighting," so it would be prudent for those planning to arrive after dark to inquire about the status of the lighting. Additionally, the reviewer noted "bumpy dirt/gravel roads in the park," which might be a consideration for those with mobility issues or concerns about navigating within the campground. Despite these minor drawbacks, the reviewer concluded with a positive "WOULD I STAY AGAIN? Yes, as long as checking in before dark. I liked the large sites and pretty trees," indicating that the positives outweighed the negatives for their experience.
Another guest shared a more extensive account of their unexpected yet wonderful experience at Shaded Acres RV Park & Campground. This traveler had the misfortune of experiencing two tire blowouts on their trailer and was relieved to find this park just a couple of miles away. They were able to secure a space at the last minute, demonstrating the park's flexibility and willingness to accommodate travelers in need. The hospitality extended beyond just providing a site, as the owners "even offered to help me change out my tires," showcasing exceptional kindness and a willingness to go the extra mile for their guests.
This reviewer's stay extended for a few days while awaiting new tires, and they found the park to be "comfortable." Their description of the park's environment is also informative: "The park sits on a hillside and has some nice shaded and unshaded sites. Big trees." This confirms the presence of mature trees, offering shade for those who prefer it, while also providing unshaded areas for those who desire more sunlight. The hillside location might also offer some interesting views or unique site layouts. Importantly, this guest mentioned that the "Rates are great!" indicating that Shaded Acres RV Park & Campground offers good value for money.
Furthermore, this review highlights that "It’s new and they are actively doing work to make it even better." This is a crucial piece of information for potential visitors. While the park may still be under development or undergoing improvements, the fact that the owners are actively working to enhance the facilities suggests a commitment to providing an even better experience in the future. This guest concluded by stating, "I would definitely stay here again. Will recommend to friends. Thank you so much for the hospitality!!" Stayed 1 night Jan 2024, checked in after dark, pull-through.PROS: Very large sites, beautiful trees, quiet park, owner was courteous for last-minute reservation, hookups all new.CONS: No lights at the entry driveway or on the road signage, so it was difficult to find the driveway after dark and passed it twice. Owner stated it is temporary issue regarding entry lighting, so one might want to ask about that if checking in after dark. Bumpy dirt/gravel roads in the park.WOULD I STAY AGAIN? Yes, as long as checking in before dark. I liked the large sites and pretty trees.
Jan 12, 2024 · Aletha MaddenSuch a wonderful experience at their RV park. I didn’t plan on staying there, but I had 2 blow outs on my trailer and it was the closest park just a couple miles away. I was able to get a space at the last minute. They even offered to help me change out my tires. It took a few days to get new tires, but the stay was comfortable. The park sits on a hillside and has some nice shaded and unshaded sites. Big trees. Rates are great! It’s new and they are actively doing work to make it even better. I would definitely stay here again. Will recommend to friends. Thank you so much for the hospitality!!
Jul 10, 2023 · James WeinmanStayed here 2 weeks and was quite happy with it. It was quiet, the lots are shaded and you might occasionally see a llama wander by. It’s very basic on amenities, there’s no laundry or shower house.
