3 Cedar Crossing Campground & RV Park Reviews
A little rustic and off the beaten path, but a bit of a gem! Stayed 2 nights on our way to San Antonio. Mostly long term campers. Level sites. The owners, Jerry and Melanie are the sweetest people. When we arrived I was greeted by 3 beautiful dogs and lots of goats! On the property they have as mentioned goats, chickens, pigs and bees as well as a hydroponic herb garden. Jerry gave us a dozen fresh eggs as a welcome gift, we made spaghetti with the fresh herbs that Melanie shared and she gave is a jar of honey from their bees. You won’t be disappointed!
Apr 06, 2024 · Kate JoyceLove this campground. Wish we could have stayed longer and visited with the goats, dogs and chickens, and hosts of course. Very friendly pretty place. Great Wifi. Hope to stop back on our way home.
Jan 06, 2025 · Maggie HerronBeautiful area. Hiking trails through the property full of wildlife (deer, armadillos, rabbits, turkey). Hosts are beyond friendly and hospitable. We will definitely be back.
Sep 08, 2020 · Adam BinnixWe enjoyed every minute! Going to stay 1 or 2 nights we ended up a week. Very nice owners we will go back again. Full hook-ups woods to walk in, owners so helpful we felt like family...
Dec 19, 2017 · Sue Cobham56We evacuated here with our camper for Hurricane Laura. They made a bad trip into a great one.The above ground pool was very clean and shaded with a professional looking deck. There is a quarter washer and dryer, a clean 2 stall bathroom with a shower and toilet in each. Both buildings use a few stairs. There is a single child's swing my kids loved, a pond and wonderful and attentive owners living on the property. We had some ants and without us mentioning them, the owner asked if any were a problem and offered to fix it. They also provided wifi. It worked fine at first but then became hit and miss. She asked if the connection was ok and seemed genuinely surprised when I told her. It didn't seem like a normal problem. I wasn't bothered by it. I chalked it up to the weather and just used my data.Driving around town we saw some other rv campgrounds. I have no opinion or disrespect on their quality or professionalism, but they were just parking lots pretty much. We were very thankful for 3 Cedar's trees, shade and walking trails.
