You can reach them at (817) 229-3817 or +1 817-229-3817 for inquiries about availability and services. To provide an objective overview, we will consider the information available from online reviews to understand the potential environment and services offered at Shady Hill RV Park.
The reviews for Shady Hill RV Park present a mixed picture of the experiences of individuals who have interacted with the park. One review describes a significantly negative encounter with the management. According to this account, the individuals running the park were perceived as "very rude and unprofessional." The reviewer details an experience where, after moving in late in the evening, they were instructed the following morning to move their trailer by the next day because it was deemed "unacceptable." When the reviewer inquired about the reasons for this, the response was reportedly dismissive and abrupt, leaving the reviewer feeling poorly treated without a clear explanation.
In contrast, another review offers a very positive perspective, focusing on the actions of an individual identified as Danny, the property manager/maintenance man residing at space #12. The reviewer, a former resident of space #19 named Janie Green, speaks highly of Danny, describing him as someone who consistently goes "out of his way to help someone." Janie recounts personal experiences where Danny provided significant assistance, including helping to move her RV during an eviction. She emphasizes his kindness, big heart, and continued friendship and support even after she moved out. Janie also mentions that Danny had faced trouble from others, whom she characterizes as gossiping and jealous, and expresses her strong appreciation for his character and helpfulness.
Considering these two contrasting reviews, it is evident that experiences at Shady Hill RV Park can vary significantly. The negative review raises concerns about the professionalism and communication style of at least one part of the management. The positive review highlights the helpfulness and kindness of the property manager/maintenance person. For prospective residents, these differing accounts underscore the importance of seeking further information and potentially visiting the park to form their own impressions.
As an RV park, Shady Hill RV Park likely offers various amenities and services to accommodate recreational vehicles. Based on typical offerings of "RV parks near me," these might include:
- RV Sites: These are designated spaces for parking RVs, which can vary in size to accommodate different types and lengths of recreational vehicles (e.g., travel trailers, fifth-wheel trailers, motorhomes).
- Hookups: Essential services for RVs usually include electrical hookups (various amperages such as 30 amp and 50 amp), water hookups for fresh water supply, and sewer hookups for waste disposal. It would be important to confirm the availability and type of hookups at each site.
- Water and Sewer Services: Ensuring reliable water and sewer connections is crucial for RV living, especially for longer stays.
- Electrical Power: Access to a stable electrical supply is necessary to run appliances and other electrical components within an RV.
Beyond the basic hookups, RV parks often provide additional amenities to enhance the comfort and convenience of their guests. These could include:
- Restrooms and Showers: Clean and well-maintained communal restrooms and shower facilities are often available for RVers, especially those with smaller rigs or who prefer not to use their onboard facilities.
- Laundry Facilities: On-site laundry rooms with washers and dryers can be a significant convenience, particularly for longer-term residents or travelers.
- Wi-Fi Access: Internet connectivity has become an increasingly important amenity for many RVers, whether for work, communication, or entertainment.
- Trash Disposal: Provisions for the proper disposal of trash and waste are a standard service at RV parks.
- Recreational Areas: Some RV parks offer recreational facilities such as playgrounds, swimming pools, picnic areas, or community rooms to enhance the social and leisure aspects of the stay.
- Pet-Friendly Policies: Many RV parks welcome pets but may have specific rules regarding leashes, waste disposal, and breed restrictions. It is essential to inquire about the pet policy if you plan to travel with animals.
- Security: Measures such as gated access, security cameras, or on-site staff can contribute to the safety and security of the park and its residents.
Given the limited and contrasting nature of the available reviews for Shady Hill RV Park, it is impossible to definitively comment on the environment, services, features, or any potential promotional information. To gain a clearer understanding, prospective visitors or residents should:
- Contact the Park Directly: Reach out via phone at (817) 229-3817 or +1 817-229-3817 to inquire about site availability, rates, amenities, rules, and any current promotions. This is the most direct way to get up-to-date information.
- Inquire About Management Practices: Given the negative feedback regarding rudeness, it might be prudent to ask about the current management team and their approach to resident relations.
- Ask About Maintenance and Property Condition: While one review praised the maintenance efforts of Danny, it would be beneficial to get a broader sense of the overall upkeep of the park.
- Visit the Park: If feasible, a visit to Shady Hill RV Park can provide a firsthand impression of the environment, the condition of the facilities, and the layout of the sites.
- Seek Additional Reviews or Information: Look for more recent reviews on other platforms or forums to see if a more consistent picture emerges regarding the park's quality and management.
In conclusion, Shady Hill RV Park in Fort Worth, TX, is presented as a potential option for those searching for "RV parks near me." However, the available online reviews offer divergent perspectives, with one highlighting significant issues with unprofessional management and another praising the helpfulness of the property manager/maintenance person. Shady Hill RV Park Reviews
The couple who run this place are very rude and unprofessional. We moved in around 8pm and by the morning had a note on the door to call and that it was important. So I called and the lady said we had to move our trailer by the next day because our trailer was unacceptable. I asked her what was wrong with it and she said "NOW I'M NOT GOING TO ARGUE WITH YOU. JUST GET YOUR TRAILER AND GET ON DOWN THE ROAD!" I have never been treated so badly for no reason in my life.

Sep 25, 2024 · Janie GreenVery reasonable rates, dependable utilities, conscientious staff, kind and friendly management. I wish my new job didn't require that I love. Nice quiet place. Thanks Mark, for all you've done for me! Jim. #7
May 01, 2023 · Melquiades EstradaJust visited with a friend who lives there. It is a nice park that once was a mobile home park turned into a RV park. The RVs are crammed into one another so there is not much space to park to visit a resident. Near the end I could smell a strong septic tank system oder and saw run off which Is against code. Would I live there?, No!
Jun 06, 2023 · Jeffro TuckerYeah price is nice, but avoid this place like plague. So called maintenance guy destroyed my property because he has an attitude problem/ or don't like independent women, could be cross dresser on weekends, Not sure but and made owners pay for damages or court. So Not worth the hassle !!!
