Shamrock place trailer park Introduce
When searching for "RV parks near me," your options might include a variety of accommodations, from dedicated recreational vehicle sites to mobile home parks that may also offer spaces for RVs. Shamrock Place Trailer Park, situated at Shamrock Pl in Washington, Missouri (zip code 63090), is one such facility. To provide local users with detailed information, this introduction combines the concept of "RV parks near me" with the specifics gleaned from online reviews of Shamrock Place Trailer Park, aiming for an objective overview of its environment, services, and features.
Based on the limited publicly available information, primarily consisting of customer reviews, Shamrock Place Trailer Park appears to function predominantly as a mobile home park with the possibility of accommodating some RVs. It's important to note that the majority of the detailed feedback focuses on experiences within the mobile home rental aspect of the property. Therefore, prospective RVers should exercise caution and seek specific information regarding RV amenities and services directly from the park management.
The environment of Shamrock Place Trailer Park, as described by one reviewer, is characterized negatively. The park is referred to as "one of the worst mobile home parks I've ever seen or been to." This strong statement suggests potential concerns regarding the overall upkeep and atmosphere of the property. While this is a subjective opinion, it warrants further investigation for anyone considering a stay, whether short-term in an RV or long-term in a mobile home.
In terms of services and features, the reviews paint a concerning picture, particularly for those considering renting a mobile home within the park. One detailed account describes significant issues with maintenance responsiveness. A reported gas leak by a gas stove allegedly took two months for management to address. The resolution involved disconnecting the gas stove with a promise of replacement with an electric one, which reportedly did not materialize for over two months. Such delays in addressing critical safety concerns like gas leaks are serious and should be a key consideration for potential residents.
Further maintenance issues mentioned include a broken faucet in a bathtub that remained unresolved for over three months, ultimately being worsened by an unsuccessful self-repair attempt by the tenant. This led to the drastic measure of having to turn off the main water line to prevent constant hot water drainage, highlighting a lack of timely and effective maintenance services.
The presence of "feline wild cats" under the trailers is also noted, with claims that they damage the insulation, leading to cold floors during winter. While the presence of wildlife can be common in some areas, the alleged damage and lack of management intervention could be a drawback for residents.
A particularly concerning aspect raised in the reviews pertains to the park's management and financial practices. Allegations of homeless individuals receiving free rent in sheds exist, which could impact the overall community environment and potentially place a burden on paying residents. The method of rent payment via a black drop box is described as being "broken into very frequently," leading to tenants being blamed for non-payment or incurring late fees. While an online payment portal is mentioned as a convenient alternative, it reportedly charges an extra $40 per transaction. Furthermore, access to this portal is allegedly revoked if rent is a month late, with a reported offer to reinstate access upon payment of an additional $200, raising questions about transparency and fairness.
The reviewer recounts a situation where a tenant withheld rent due to unresolved major maintenance issues, resulting in an eviction notice. This suggests a potentially adversarial relationship between management and tenants when addressing concerns about the habitability of the properties.
Services such as trash and grass cutting, which were supposedly included in the rent, are described as inconsistent, with numerous tenants allegedly complaining about the lack of these services to no avail. This further contributes to the negative perception of the park's management and overall living conditions.
It is crucial to reiterate that this information is based on a limited number of online reviews, and individual experiences can vary. However, the consistency and severity of the issues raised, particularly concerning safety, maintenance, and management practices, should prompt anyone considering Shamrock Place Trailer Park, whether for RV stays or mobile home rentals, to conduct thorough due diligence. This includes visiting the property, if possible, speaking with current residents (if feasible), and directly inquiring with management about their policies, maintenance procedures, and any measures taken to address the concerns raised in these reviews.
For those specifically searching for "RV parks near me" for short-term or transient stays, the information available does not provide specific details about RV amenities such as hookups (water, electricity, sewer), site sizes, or recreational facilities. Given the negative experiences reported by mobile home renters, RVers should be particularly cautious and seek detailed information and assurances regarding the suitability and quality of RV sites before making a reservation. It would be advisable to look for dedicated RV parks in the Washington, MO area that have positive reviews specifically addressing their RV facilities and services.
In conclusion, while Shamrock Place Trailer Park is located in Washington, MO, and might appear in a broad search for "RV parks near me" due to its nature as a residential trailer park, the publicly available reviews raise significant concerns about its management, maintenance, safety, and overall living conditions. Potential residents or RVers should carefully consider this information and conduct thorough independent research before making any decisions regarding this property. Exploring other RV parks or residential communities in the area is highly recommended to ensure a positive and safe living or travel experience.

Shamrock place trailer park Reviews
This mobile home park is one of the worst mobile home parks I've ever seen or been to. Once you move into one of their rentals you're on your own with any repairs. My friend quickly after moving in smelled a very strong gas leak by the gas stove. It took them 2 months to finally come look at it. The gas leak was so bad they're lucky the whole trailer park didn't blow up. The maintenance person said the hot water heater was where the gas leak was and supposedly fixed it. In the process he disconnected the gas stove with the promise of replacing it with an electric stove. That was over 2 months ago. Also, the faucet in the master bedrooms bathtub was broken when they moved in. After waiting for over 3 months they tried to fix it themselves unsuccessfully which made it worse. So bad that they had to turn on and off the main water line just to use the water or it would constantly be draining the hot water heater. The feline wild cats get under the trailers and tear up all the insulation so in the winter the floors are as cold as ice. Rumor has it, that they wanted to capture all the beautiful friendly Kitty's, computer chip them, and then return them to their homes under the residence trailers. Homeless people live in numerous sheds and allegedly get free rent. There is a black drop box resembling a mail box that you can deposit your rent payments. This gets broken into very frequently which results in tenants either getting blamed for not paying their rent and or being late and having to pay $25 a day. There's a portal online that makes it very convenient for renters to pay their rent. Sounds good right? Except to do this, they charge you an extra $40. Guess that's better than getting your rent payments stolen. If you're late a month on your rent. They kick you off of this convenient portal. The landlord told my friends living there, that if they agreed to pay an extra $200 a month to catch up she'd give them access again. The problem now is, they have no proof whatsoever they ever paid even one month. Super suspect in my 👀! When the tenant refused to pay the rent until they fixed these two major problems and numerous other issues. They gave her an eviction notice. Also, trash and grass cutting services were supposed to be included in the rent. Neither services were done on a consistent basis, which numerous other tenants complained about also to only fall on deaf ears. This is a prime example of slum lords taking advantage of low income people. Do not rent any mobile home from this property, or you'll regret it I promise.
Sep 06, 2024 · Jim NoackUsing knowledge of law to acquire someone else's property.. slum lords should be shamed. 🧐🙎🏼♂️I've never been here and know no one involved. But judging from the comments. My opinion is already low. Renters beware eh? Just like to point out how laws are set up for corporations not we the people. Be the change!
Sep 07, 2024 · Levi MurphyThis place is disgusting. Has very bad pest problem, safety concerns such as old homes that are falling apart, no insulation, and exposed electrical wires. Really bad uncontrollable feral cat problem. Everyone living in the mobile home park feeds the cats, but refuses to get any of them fixed. You cant leave your window open without a cat trying to jump inside. One of them attacked my dog while i had her on a leash in my own yard. The park manager will take your money, and lie about rent not being paid. So make sure you get a receipt! She is known for doing that a lot, and the owners dont care. The owners are a married couple. The wife is a notary and illegally notarizes eviction notices and court papers for her own business. Very shady stuff going on at this place and should be investigated and shut down!!
