Stonegate Mobile Home Comm Introduce
For local users exploring residential options in San Antonio, Texas, and considering the category of "rv parks near me" as a potential gateway to understanding different types of housing communities, Stonegate Mobile Home Comm, located at 200 S Plaza, San Antonio, TX 78227, USA, presents a complex picture based on the limited available customer reviews. While primarily a mobile home community rather than a traditional RV park for short-term stays, its offerings of rent-to-own and cash purchase options for homes at very low prices might attract individuals seeking affordable housing or investment opportunities. However, it is crucial to consider the significant concerns raised regarding the property management.
One long-term resident, with over six years of experience living in Stonegate Mobile Home Comm, expresses profound dissatisfaction, labeling the management company as "the worst" they have ever encountered. The review details serious allegations of unresponsiveness and a lack of care for residents' needs. Conversely, the management is described as being "quick to charge fees and threaten you about your home and how it don’t meet there standards." This paints a picture of a potentially adversarial relationship between the management and some residents, with a focus on enforcement rather than support. The resident explicitly states, "This place i do not recommend for anyone to move to," despite paying rent on time, indicating a deep level of unhappiness with the living conditions and management practices. The sentiment is strong enough that the resident expresses a desire to move out as soon as their home is paid off, emphasizing that even a one-star rating "doesn’t even do justice" to their negative experience.
Another review corroborates some of these concerns, mentioning "badly damaged mobile homes" and the absence of managers on-site ("no managers"). This lack of visible and accessible management could contribute to the issues raised by the first reviewer regarding unresponsiveness and the handling of community standards. The combination of damaged properties and a perceived lack of management presence may contribute to a decline in the overall living environment and the quality of community maintenance.
Despite these significant negative aspects, the second review also points out a potential opportunity for very affordable home ownership. It mentions that individuals can "rent to own or buy cash, at a very low low price like $500.00." This incredibly low entry point into home ownership could be attractive to those with limited financial resources or to investors looking for potential renovation projects. The review suggests that with "Just a little TLC you can flip it and rent it out or live in it if you want." This highlights the potential for acquiring property at a minimal cost, albeit likely requiring significant personal investment in terms of repair and renovation.
However, even with the allure of cheap home ownership, the same review notes that the "property fees" are raised every year, despite the apparent lack of on-site management and the presence of damaged homes. This annual increase in fees, without a corresponding improvement in services or property maintenance, could offset the initial low cost of acquiring a home and contribute to the dissatisfaction expressed by the long-term resident. Potential buyers or renters need to carefully consider these ongoing costs and the level of services provided in return.
Considering the perspective of someone searching within the "rv parks near me" category, Stonegate Mobile Home Comm, as a mobile home community, offers a different type of long-term residential option. While it may not provide the typical amenities and transient nature of an RV park, the possibility of very low-cost home ownership could be a unique draw for those willing to invest in repairs and potentially navigate management challenges. The significant price difference compared to traditional real estate or even some long-term RV park fees might be a compelling factor for some.
However, the serious concerns raised about the management's responsiveness, care for residents, and tendency to levy fees and enforce standards without adequate support cannot be ignored. Potential residents or buyers must weigh the opportunity for affordable housing against the potential difficulties in dealing with the management and the possibility of living in a community with visible signs of disrepair.
Information regarding the environment and specific services or features of Stonegate Mobile Home Comm is limited in the provided reviews. There is no mention of community amenities such as clubhouses, recreational areas, green spaces, or specific utility provisions. The focus of the reviews is primarily on the management and the condition of the properties. Therefore, it is essential for interested parties to conduct their own thorough investigation by visiting the community, speaking with current residents (if possible), and directly contacting the management at (210) 673-6943 or +1 210-673-6943 to ask detailed questions about the community's environment, available services, fees, and the process of renting to own or purchasing a home.
Promotional information is not evident in the provided reviews, aside from the mention of very low purchase prices for some homes. Potential buyers or renters should inquire directly about any current promotions, financing options for rent-to-own, or any specific terms and conditions associated with acquiring a property in Stonegate Mobile Home Comm.
In conclusion, Stonegate Mobile Home Comm in San Antonio, TX, presents a scenario with both potential opportunities and significant challenges. The possibility of acquiring very low-cost housing through rent-to-own or cash purchase may appeal to a specific segment of the population. However, the serious concerns raised by residents regarding the property management, including allegations of unresponsiveness, poor care, and frequent fees, must be carefully considered. Local users exploring housing options and encountering Stonegate Mobile Home Comm should proceed with caution, conduct thorough due diligence, and seek detailed information from the management and potentially current residents before making any decisions.

Stonegate Mobile Home Comm Reviews
It’s so sad to live here. I’ve been a resident for way more than 6 years and it’s honestly the worst management company I have ever worked with. They do not respond or care for residents but are quick to charge fees and threaten you about your home and how it don’t meet there standards. This place i do not recommend for anyone to move to. I pay rent on time and do not enjoy living here anymore. Very poor Management. This 1 star doesn’t even do justice. Can’t wait to pay off my home to move out this community.
Jul 12, 2023 · Chevy GirlThere badly damaged mobile homes, no managers and yet they raise the property fees every year. You can rent to own or buy cash, at a very low low price like $500.00. Just a little TLC you can flip itand rent it out or live in it if you want.
Nov 08, 2023 · Denise CantuThis place is Horrible too live in, we just purchased a mobile home put 10,000 down, the mobile home is disgusting it was not renovated! It's infested with Ants, Roaches and spiders, possums living underneath the mobile home! Then new owners took over, and no one is in the office or have a maintenance person who's very disrespectful towards the people who are living on property! All they want to do is raise the rent on the lot! If I were Y'all I will not move over here because you're going to be living in a horrible area I'm trying to get my money back take them to court for not making the promises that they made inside our mobile home is a disaster it floods when it rains inside our window there's puddles of water! I need help I've already let cold compliance know all the issues today we first moved in when we first moved in was January the 6th 20th 22 we were freezing for almost a week because the water heater was no good when CPS came to turn it on! After that occurred more and more problems occurred!I took a shower, shower fell off hit me in the head the owners did nothing about it

Feb 05, 2020 · Rachel GuajardoWorst place to live I lived there and what the other girl is saying is true they do cut ur water off and when ur water bill comes it's $120 $130 when I wouldn't even water out side or nothing and know where I bought my new mobile home I only pay $20 of water and I do water my plants in the morning and night every day I even had a water leak under the house for two weeks until I noticed it and my water bill still came to $40 so they rip u off there and charge u for every little thing and the manager is nothing but gossip she ain't no manager she's hardly ever in her office. And her son was the one braking into the houses and cars to steal that's why he was also in jail for drug addict and theft worst worst worst place ever wish the owners could put there number out there so they can call him or her. If ur the owner and ur reading these messages about ur place u need to give people ur office number or something to contact u.
