McMullen Mobile Home Park Introduce
Are you searching for "RV parks near me" in the San Antonio, Texas area? If so, McMullen Mobile Home Park, situated at 3333 Weir Ave, San Antonio, TX 78226, USA, might be a location to consider. You can reach them by phone at (210) 265-1177 or their mobile number, +1 210-265-1177, for inquiries. As a platform dedicated to connecting users with relevant RV park options, we aim to provide a comprehensive overview based on available information to help you make an informed decision.
When evaluating potential long-term or short-term stays at an RV park, several factors come into play, including the environment, available services, unique features, and overall value. It's important to consider these aspects to ensure the park meets your individual needs and preferences. Based on the limited publicly available information, including customer reviews, here's an objective look at what you might expect from McMullen Mobile Home Park.
One of the primary considerations for anyone looking at "RV parks near me" is the environment and upkeep of the grounds. According to a recent customer review, the park is described as "filthy" with "no order" and a lack of "ground maintenance." The reviewer also mentions "heavy debris which causes rats around others homes," suggesting potential issues with cleanliness and pest control. This feedback indicates that prospective tenants might want to carefully assess the current condition of the park's common areas and individual lots before committing to a stay.
Services and amenities are another crucial aspect when choosing an RV park. The review notes a change in policy regarding lot maintenance, stating that tenants are now "expected to cut and trim tree's around you yourself or you will be fined." This shift in responsibility could be a significant factor for those seeking a more hands-off living experience or those who may have difficulty with yard work. Additionally, the review mentions a new manager who, according to the feedback, "does not make sure tenants clean up their yards." This suggests a potential lack of consistent enforcement of community standards.
Features that differentiate one RV park from another can greatly influence a renter's decision. Historically, McMullen Mobile Home Park reportedly offered an incentive of the "first month free" to new tenants, potentially offsetting the expenses associated with moving a mobile home. Furthermore, there was a $150 fee for connecting electrical and water lines. However, the recent review indicates a significant change in these policies. It now states that tenants "pay to move in, a deposit for I don't know what and they won't connect any pipes or lines to your house." This represents a considerable shift in the initial costs and responsibilities for new residents, which prospective tenants should be aware of and inquire about in detail.
Promotional information is often a key driver for attracting new residents to RV parks. While the historical "first month free" could be considered a past promotion, the current information lacks any explicit promotional offers. Given the recent negative feedback regarding increased lot rent (a $100.00 increase was mentioned) and reduced services, it appears the park may not be actively promoting itself through special offers at this time. Potential residents should directly inquire about current rates, fees, and any available incentives.
It's also important to consider the overall value proposition of an RV park. The review expressing that the park is "just not kept up because new owners do not want to spend any money except make money" raises concerns about the long-term investment in the property and the quality of life for residents. The comment about the owners being perceived as "middle easterns" is an irrelevant and inappropriate remark that should not factor into an objective assessment of the park's suitability. Our platform focuses solely on the tangible aspects of the RV park experience, such as environment, services, and features.
The fact that "several tenants have left now since these changes for the worst" suggests a potential trend of dissatisfaction among the residents. This information, while anecdotal, should prompt potential new residents to conduct thorough due diligence, including visiting the park in person if possible, speaking with current residents (if feasible), and asking detailed questions about the current management, policies, and conditions.
Another brief review simply states, "Good lookin place to live. You just ain't gonna do it on one fixed income. I couldn't even look at anything cept from the road." This comment highlights a potential issue with affordability, although it's unclear what specific costs the reviewer is referring to (lot rent, utilities, etc.). It does suggest that the park may not be suitable for individuals on a strict budget, and it reinforces the need for clear and transparent information regarding all associated costs.
In conclusion, for local users searching for "RV parks near me" and considering McMullen Mobile Home Park in San Antonio, the available information paints a mixed picture. While the location at 3333 Weir Ave provides a specific geographical point, recent customer feedback raises significant concerns regarding the park's cleanliness, maintenance, and management practices. The changes in move-in policies and the reported increase in lot rent, coupled with a decrease in services, are crucial factors to consider. We strongly advise potential residents to visit the park, inquire extensively about current conditions and policies, and perhaps seek out additional, more recent reviews or testimonials to gain a comprehensive understanding before making a decision. Our platform aims to provide a starting point for your search, and further personal investigation is always recommended to ensure a satisfactory living experience in any RV park.

McMullen Mobile Home Park Reviews
This mobile home park is filthy. There is no order in this park. No ground maintenance. Lot rent was raised $100.00 more and tenants are expected to cut and trim tree's around you yourself or you will be fined. There is a manager, a new one about 3 months old, but does not make sure tenants clean up their yards from heavy debris which causes rats around others homes. Park is just not kept up because new owners do not want to spend any money except make money, it is said they are middle easterns.. Several tenants have left now since these changes for the worst. It used to be that when you moved in park first month would be free, taking in consideration that you already had the expense of moving trailer, which was great!! You only paid $150 so they could connect your electrical and water lines to your mobile home. But now you pay to move in, a deposit for I don't know what and they won't connect any pipes or lines to your house. Ask questions if even considering moving there. But I wouldn't suggest it. Thanks
